    The new Unifi AC LR antennas will work with both 48v 802.3af AND 24v Ubiquiti PoE injectors. Just an FYI

    Got the same setup. Just buy the INS‑3AF‑I‑G. They convert the switch to passive for $20.00 each

      I will definitely have to look into that! Thank you for letting me know :)

    Is there a way to film with your iphone7plus and have it show up on your iPad so if I can't see the phone screen I can use the iPad as a viewfinder

    The 150w version of that 8 port switch will support both 48v POE+ and 24v passive.

    So if you'd gone for either the AP-AC-PRO > LR or the 150W Switch > 60W switch your setup would have worked without the PoE injectors, correct?

    • @carsonmtech
      @carsonmtech  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! You could also buy some converters that allow you to use legacy UniFi products with the newer equipment.

    Hey carson your camera screen on the DJI GO app looks a lot better than mine how do you get yours like that?

    • @JayskiRealLife
      @JayskiRealLife 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If possible can you make a video about that

    • @carsonmtech
      @carsonmtech  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have Android? IOS typically looks much better than the Android version due to DJI favoring apple devices over its predecessor as it's typically easier to develop compatible apps for iOS :/. If you have an old iPod or iPhone just laying around, I would suggest giving that a shot and you may experience better results than previously!!

    The 2015 line and up of Ubiquiti products runs off of 48V POE. So unless you have the 2011 line, all the new Unifi devices will work perfectly.

      It sounds like you have "Enable Max Distance" enabled. Make sure to turn this off by going to Settings -> Main Controller Settings -> scroll down some and turn off the "Enable Max Distance" switch so that it isn't green anymore:)

    • @nolanhasting

      ZACHATTACK Same, that would be cool. You could try to drop an old phone and do one of those phone test things. I'd love to see a drone drop! Cheers!

    Man! That's high-tech. I still use AOL dial up. with a US Robotics 56k modem on Windows 98. j/k Okay....now go make a drone vid. I'm setting aside money for the DJI Inspire

    Does that just act as a router ???

    • @carsonmtech
      @carsonmtech  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it doesn't! It only works as an ethernet switch which just "splits" a single ethernet connection into 7 other connections. You'll still need a regular router for the setup I showed here.

    hi if you do get a phantom 4 would you ever stop doing phantom 3 sandard please don't because you are the only good youtuber doing videos

    • @carsonmtech
      @carsonmtech  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I may slowly stop making Phantom 3 Standard videos if I did get a newer drone but I still may occasionally upload DJI P3 videos!

    • @carsonmtech

      Idk I just decided to set it as that xD....I just personally think an IP of 10.0.0.xxx looks better than 192.168.1.xxx.
