Can’t believe I’ve only just found your channel, great videos mate, good in-depth reviews with a clear voice. I hope you haven’t stopped making vids. All the best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I bought one of the TierOne carbon tactical bipods last year and I’m finding it far more consistent to shoot from than my Atlas. Not only is there less ‘slop’ in the system it seems to be less fussy to whether it’s preloaded or not. I get tight groups whether I’m preloaded or not which really helps dial out some of my inconsistencies as a shooter or inconsistencies in terrain. Add to that the impressive build quality and remarkably light weight and it’s a real winner. Worth every penny.

Great roundup addition. Here’s a question: I shoot prairie dogs in North Dakota off a swiveling bench, and of course, also sight them in off a club’s range bench. I never go prone (neck issues and you really don’t want to get on the ground near prairie dogs. There are rattlesnakes and PDs carry the bubonic plague, which is transmitted by fleas. Yeah, THAT plague.) So, for a front rest, I’m tired of a lugging around a 14 lbs sandbag, and am considering either a traditional bench rest (probably just as heavy but more repeatable position) or a bipod (lighter!). The Fortmeier seems the ticket. The Tier 1 FTR is too wide for the benches i shoot off of. Finally, the question: with an acceptable surface, like carpet, will the Fortmeier (w/ski feet) give me bench rest accuracy? Or close it it?
Very nice video. It's amazing how professionally you explain about your toys. I always waiting on new videos from you. What radical you use for your scops, MIL-DOT or MOA. What is your favor caliber for long range, I'm talking over 1,5 km?
Great video that helps makes better choices. One question off topic..what is the reas and pros and cons of using Hand grip Ergo with Palm Shelf of both AR in this video Thanks
I have found when you pan around ,you know longer get straight back recoil as the bipod is not square to the rifle it jumps left or right depending what detection you have panned.
Thank you very much! Love your reviews! Have you compare all your bipod with Elite Iron? If so, can you send me the link. Looking for bipod for my AI AXMC.338 Lapua Magnum. Thanks again!
Where have you gone Richard? Hope nothing bad has happened to you and that you're just preoccupied with other thing than putting out videos, but your videos are missed just so you know!
Richard, I'm having a real dilemma! Atlas BT46 LW17 PSR 170-S Lever or Tier One Tactical with pan and tilt? If you can only have one, which one would you go for? It's for a Bergara HMR 6.5 creedmoor, mostly prone and bench shooting, though at some time in the future would like to try my hand at PRS and there is potential I will use for hunting. Which is best all rounder, with bias towards prone shooting?
Hi Richard As always a very informative video, My question for you getting back in to shooting after many years of being overseas. I wish to begin with.22 rimfire out to 300 metres. Regardless of cost what scope would you recommend as I wish to push limits and not just shoot in a club bench at 25-50 metres? I may also come down to you for some tuition once I'm ready to shoot full bore, for advice on rifle choice and scope. As an older gent I don't suffer from the usual financial restrictions ? Regards Gordon
Hi Richard Watch all your videos and you single handed cost me 1000s 😂😂 but now the time has come for a good quality spotting scope do you have any or no of a reliable review channel ? . Ps delta Stryker has been the best purchase I have made conistaly shooting 6" groups at 500 yards now with 223 still learning wind. ballistic wise I think I have that side pretty well under control. Now it's all about trigger time trigger control and reading wind and consistency have learned a lot from yourself over the years. Ps my shooting is just for fun not competition I am looking to get my 6" plates out to 800 over the next few months and be consistent then really push the boat out to 1000
The good old Fortmeir lurking in the background, great video as always.

When is the 2020 bipod review coming? I’m very interested to see what you think of the Accu-tac gen 2 compared to Atlas 5H
I was in the same debate I went with the accu-tac.
Thanks for such great info and choices with your advise.

Have you had a chance to test out an Magpul Bipod? And if so, what are your thoughts on it?
i have and it is awful.
If you like the FTR style bipods give Mik a call at Dolphin he's always eager to help and has all the latest bipods available
Yes, good point. Switched-on guy, Mik is
Long legs ? How long ? I shot sitted because around here we haven't a golf green but high vegetation, sometime you have to even stand up.

Thanks Chris

Great review on bipods mate very interesting. Also would like to know your opinion on GPO scopes
Brilliant as always. Can this bipod (tactical) be adjust like the Atlas or are the legs either folded or extended? Hope that makes sense
Thank Gwyn. No 45degree option - just folded, or not
Thanks Richard. That really helps.
What bi-pod would you recommend for a RPA?
They need a top mount model.

Where would one get a barrel tunner?
Easiest is direct from www.limbsaver.com
Your Safety..
On “fire” or “safe” ?🔥
I don't use safety catches. I use: The bolt is either forward or it's back.
Richard Utting Amen Brother - Enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
