French Caravan Adventure: What do we have planned & how have we planned it?

Caravan Batters is off to France, we loved Brittany so much last year we are heading back and going even further....
let the caravan touring adventures continue, we only have 15 nights away. but we have lots planned and 6 different stop overs.

We have stayed at 3 of those sites Risle seine,Le Hallerais they have been taken over and they are doing a lot work there and Huttopia at Saumur it was about 10 years ago and it was called Chantepie then and it was a lovely little site they used to come around with a horse and cart to empty the dustbins the only downside with it was that you were stuck on top of a hill and had to take the car everywhere

We might have been in Brittany at the same time then!! We sailed from Cornwall to Brest and arrived on Labour Day, we were there last week and then sailed to Gijon in Spain arriving here yesterday!!😂
We’re a bit behind real time on our TH-cam videos, so that’s a secret!🤫😅

We are also a bit behind as we were in Dinan on Labour Day just down from St Malo, we have just arrived in Saumur, Loire for three nights back in UK Sunday!

Looks like a great trip. We've never really stopped long in Northern France. We have a fear that the weather is a bit too much like the UK :-) However, I like the look of your circular journey; that really makes sense. It'll be interesting going back to a place you visited as a kid, hopefully you'll get some feeling of recognition.
Never say never, but it doesn't look like we'll get to France this year, just too many other things going on ATM..
Cheers Graham, we came to Brittany last year (our 1st caravan trip abroad) and loved it so thought we’d come back. We are still finding our feet and trying to work out how many one night stop overs we can do with it still feeling like a holiday and not a mission? I think after this holiday we will be more confident with one night stops and therefore travelling further, however think we will keep to about 200 miles per day, it gives us the afternoon to explore when we arrive at a site!
Yes the weather had been changeable (we are already on the trip) but still maybe a couple of degrees better than UK🤞
Shame you might not be going abroad this year, but I suspect you have some other trips planned!

Hi Graham & Claire, the wife and I really enjoy your videos and have subscribed. We have just taken delivery of our 23 Unicorn V Vigo and are trying to work out the size of the Fiamma caravanstore awning you have as we are just about to order one. Can you settle the argument for us as - I think it’s the 410 whereas the other half thinks it’s the 360 we would be grateful to find out who’s right? Like you we live close to the Eurotunnel but this trip will be the first time we’ve used it with a caravan. Keep the videos coming!

The canopy we have is a THULE Omnistor and if I remember we went for the 4.0mts wide one but I wish I had measured better because I think I might have got the 4.5m long one on.
So I’m not sure if I have helped your argument or if you are now both wrong 🤣😂🤣!!!
