I had my daughter last night. Everything came out well. ❤️ and my hospital was very precautious , we couldn’t have any visitors but only the person who was going to be with you in the delivery room and even at that they didn’t really want that person going in and out as well. Safe delivery to all the moms ❤️🙏🏽
So they didn’t want the person to leave the hospital? Wow! What if you have additional kids at home. My husband would have to go see them and take care of our animals.
Anne Marie Richards thats my same concerned! Because my doctor told me that only one visitor for your entire stay and i also have two other kids to worried about!!
daisy padilla It went great! My little angel was born on 3/17. All of your good thoughts and prayers definitely helped. Both my baby and I are healthy and back home already!
I’m secretly glad for the social distancing. With my first we were bombarded with visitors and not many people respected my wishes to stay away. (I’m an introvert, I just wanted to do skin to skin and nurse and snuggle and take in my baby) I still have 5-8 weeks left before delivery but I won’t be mad if I still have to practice social distancing. That being said I also hope they can contain and control this virus as well. Just looking for the positives haha
Thank you for looking for the positives! My hospital cut down on visitors last week and the reaction has been very mixed on my postpartum floor. Many moms seem grateful for a quieter experience with baby and their partner with nobody else allowed. But it’s definitely hard on many people and we have had to call security on two different families who did not take no for an answer to the point of getting violent with staff, so that was really upsetting for everyone. Good luck with your delivery and I hope these next few weeks go smoothly!
I am bummed I cannot have my mom and grandma in the room it will just be my husband this time. I'm due in 8 weeks. But I totally agree with you on visitors coming to the hospital when I specifically said when we leave you can visit us at home. My husbands family gave me no time to bond with my 1st daughter or the space I needed to move around to not cause blood clots from being in bed to long.
Agreed. It's more of an excuse to keep people away while I avoid PPD this time around and try to have the chance to bond with this one which I didn't get to do with my first.
Both you and mama doctor jones have seriously been keeping me sane and feeling semi-prepared this pregnancy. Due In 8 weeks and this Covid-19 madnesses is getting out of control. I appreciate that you made this video. Its so important to get accurate information out there for those looking for it. Thank you again for all you do!
These 2 and bridget teyler have been keeping me sane, my due date was 2 days ago and my state just released statements yesterday about hospital policies changing and ive been a little freaked out admittantly
@@catsakae7968 Bridget is not a medical professional and posts a lot of scientifically inaccurate information, so I would take what she says with a grain of salt, and listen to the professionals, who post evidence based information, such as Mama Doctor Jones.
Due end of July 2021. Just happy right now that my boyfriend is finally able to come to our anatomy scan in March. I hope our daughter gets to have a normal life
I was complaining about being due so far from now cause I am miserable being pregnant but now I am grateful I’m not due until September. Bless all those moms due very soon! I hope your hospitals are taking proper precautions and you all are healthy and have healthy babies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I gave birth on the 6th, a few days before everything got super crazy, and even then I was so paranoid to be in the hospital. Wishing all the pregnant ladies out there a safe delivery❤️everything will be ok!
Same here. Due June 17th. I'm supposed to go in for my 28 weeks appointment next Tuesday, but yesterday we found out that two people in my husband's workplace have tested positive. He doesn't think he had personal contact with either individual, but who knows how many other people have it and just haven't been tested? I'm going to email my Dr. today to see if she wants me to reschedule my appointment. :(
Me too! I’m due on June 21st. I’m high risk so I have appointments at the hospital every two weeks so I’ve been trying to stay calm. I’m praying it’s over by then. But you mommies stay strong and be careful.
Same! I’m due July 12th. I will consider a home birth or a birthing place outside of a hospital if it’s still bad by then. Trump is saying this mess can last until July-Aug. 😞
Praying for all the mommies and our beautiful babies during this crazy crazy time !! I’m due April 14th . 16 days from now and I’m super nervous as we all are ! Keep god in your hearts ladies and remember he’s always there and guiding us through this ❤️ sending love to all the New mommies !!
My scheduled csection is in a week and this video was perfect timing! I have tried to stay positive and not panic, but it’s hard when everyone else seems to be panicking! Wishing all the expecting mamas the best 😘
I'm due may 23rd. My husband and I work in a restaurant that will probably close soon. And I went from picking out what stroller I liked to fighting off depression and panic everyday. I cant believe how the world has changed so quickly. At this point im just praying for a safe delivery and healthy baby... Much prayers to any preggo mamas out there. This is tough but we will make it through...
I'm due in the middle of June with my first. Really nervous about what the situation is going to be like at that time...Good luck to all of you mamas! Be well!
Giving birth on Tues - have watched a lot of your videos in preparation over the last few months and am not quite sure how I missed this one! Just want to say thank you for continuing to do the work that you do for parents. I’m eternally grateful for your sacrifice and support.
I’m being induced in a little over a week. My hospital has already issued a new policy that you are only allowed ONE visitor/support person during your entire stay. To say that I’m devastated is not even close. This is our first child and the first grandchild in the family. I feel like my whole experience is being stolen from me. I understand that is “for our safety” but honestly it all just feels like a panicked knee jerk reaction from those in charge. I will never get this time back. This is our only child that we will ever have.
Oh dear. I'm gonna tell about my 1st and only birth experience. I was terrified. Lol, that's an understatement. I went in at 6 am to be induced with pitocin, by myself via uber. My husband works 12 hrs a day 7 days a week. It was hard mentally. I had to go after he left for work. My entire family lives in Texas. I'm in ohio. As soon as I got there, 40 minutes late (thanks to traffic), my nurse walked me through every step and babied me.. I'm talking soothed me through every step, terms of endearment, held my hand through EVERY process. I wasn't entirely alone. My husband arrived 5 hours before my baby was born and I can honestly, wholeheartedly say I wouldn't have it any other way. It's entirely intimate, and so special when it's just you and a significant other. Whether it be a mother, sibling, bf, father, relative, friend.. as long as you have one person to show and give emotional/ physical support, honesty you'll hold onto safety and support. Please try not to be afraid. I know it's easier said than done. I was crudding myself. But let the process wash over you as you wish. If your afraid or in pain, hey! Ask for meds. If you feel alone have your nurse or supporter (person allowed to be with you) hold your knee or hand every push or heavy breath. You're stronger than you could imagine. I'll be praying for you.
This is scaring me to, I have been told I could potentially have no one at the birth with me, not even my partner. It’s breaking me apart. I want my partner there so he can experience this with me as had c section first pregnancy. Can’t imagine doing it alone.
I'm nearly 33 weeks now and I can't help but worry over the unknown over the next several weeks! Especially since my OB says I may deliver within a few weeks since my first was born at 36 weeks, I'm just crossing my fingers and praying that this little guy makes it to at least 37 weeks and that by then this situation has calmed down some.
I had my baby in december, just as all this was starting. My midwife was amazing, she made me feel so safe and confortable. I was thinking of you. She was so warm and nice. I am grateful for people like you! 💙
I’m being induced in five days. I appreciate this video. Your calm nature is also nice when all I see and hear is people freaking out. I’m thankful they are keeping away visitors. I do not want any added risk to my baby. This is my first child and I never envisioned this being our reality during this time. Praying for all mothers giving birth at this time as well as all medical staff 🙏🏻
My son is 5 months and I'm just terrified that I will run into someone who might have it or the flu and bring it home to my baby. It gives me anxiety I cant imagine being pregnant at this time. I hope and pray all the pregnant mamas have healthy and safe deliveries!
I’m due this Halloween, with my first child. Im hoping all of this calms down by then, but if it isn’t I’m not sure how I’m going to do this alone. The hospitals around me won’t let anyone except the patient in the hospital. My boyfriend has yet to see any ultrasound or hear a heartbeat. This turn of events is not how I planned my 2020. Lord have mercy on us.
Not afraid of the virus, just afraid of giving birth alone, that the father will not be allowed in the room😰 Due april 8th, so hope things are better by then!
examdrive Hope I also have one person allowed, but that person can’t have any symptoms of sickness. So now we just need to be careful, would be so sad if he couldn’t attend due to a simple cold😣
I’m 37 weeks and my OB isn’t concerned about covid 19. I’m not either. Where I’m delivering at is a women’s / baby hospital and not connected to the main hospital.
Same I’m not worried or concern, but on the other hand my Husband and Doctor are and they have me locked in the house all day ...🤷🏻♀️ which I’m bored out my mind
Cynthia Rodriguez my husband has me on locked down too. My OB wasn’t worried when I wrote that .... This week my OB said he was becoming concerned and wanted me to stay in too. We had a lot of cases pop up fast in Florida. He said that I shouldn’t have people over when baby arrives until this settles down. I agree, people can carry it, not be sick and give it to me and/or my husband and baby.
Im currently 24w4d pregnant with my long awaited rainbow girl...im due july 7th...ive heard people aremt expecting this to end until august. I pray every night she gets here safe and stays safe. I also apologize to her for bringing her into such a messy world 💔
I live in south Florida, and due in 4 weeks, my hospital is also only allowing 1 person with me in the delivery room, and no visitors. Better safe than sorry. I couldn’t imagine my baby catching anything so soon in age. Good luck to all the mommy’s, hope everyone has a safe delivery 💕
Thank you so much Nurse Zabe. I’m due in less than 2 weeks. The covid-19 situation has been making me anxious but this video helps put me at ease and feel supported in uncertain times. Best wishes to all the Mamas due in these next few weeks and months.
Only my sis brother in law and my two nieces visited once we were home where we live with my in laws. That wasn't even until my baby boy was already like a month old. He is now almost 3 months and the rest of my family still needs to meet him but will wear masks when they do
Thank you for this video. I'm currently 27 weeks and just went for checkup with my OB on Friday. My doctor is connected directly to the hospital I will be delivering at and their office has adopted the same policy as the hospital when it comes to visitors. I.E. no children under 18 and one visitor with the patient in the exam room, and if you or a member of your household is sick they have asked that we call the office to either have a visit over the phone or to reschedule our appointment for a later time. We were also told that if we have signs of respiratory illness there will be a separate entrance at the emergency department where we can be evaluated for Covid 19. I mention this in case other mamas to be are curious how a doctor's office might be handling the situation. Thank you for telling us to remain calm but cautious. I truly believe that is the best path forward.
Due in 4 days..but I'm in Canada. Dont got contact with doctor besides the office number. Praying it goes well!! Thank you for reminding ppl to calm down..the news and media is definitely making ppl go crazy
Normally the office number will connect you to an after hours service when they are closed that will contact the doctor for you and then the doctor will call you back!
I’m 40w+6 and schedule induction this morning(2hour later). Kaiser is my delivery hospital. I am not panic but definitely worry since we are same building with ER🤪. Love to hear your advice. Thank you 😊
Thank tou for taking the time to make this video.🙏🏼💕 I am half ways through my pregnancy and it's nice to hear facts and take precautions instead if panicking. I haven't been out if the house since December due to all day sickness(lost 20lbs)and though I am feeling way better I won't be going out unless it's to go to my doctor appointments.
Thank you for this!! I am scheduled for a c section in the morning and was quite freaked out. This info took me back to just regular delivery anxiety instead of extra anxiety!
I am due in 13 days !! I am so scared 😰 First leaving my other 2 kids behind and second getting anything in the hospital . I feel like it’s the worse time to give birth 😭 and just hope and pray all this gets better !! Your video was very helpful though and very informative . Thank you 🙏
I'm scheduled to be induced April 7th. I was feeling depressed (hormonal) when my doctor let me know that they will only allow one support person (who can't be interchanged) because I had to let the idea of not seeing my girls for a few days sink in. But we'll get through it. I wish you all the best with your individual journeys. It's better safe than sorry. 💖
I was sad that I missed the birth of my nephew this passed week due to visitor limitations, but I’m thankful that hospitals are taking the precautions to keep more people healthy and safe, even when it’s not convenient.
I'll be 30 weeks this Thursday and I've had a caugh/sneezing and runny nose since Sarurday (No fever) . I called my Dr. right away and they said to stay home and just take tylenol for headache and Robitussin for caugh. And if symptoms get worst to call them back. This whole thing is so stressful but thank you for your video. I was worried but Drs.seem not to be that concerned. I also am on bed rest so can go into labor any given week, I just hope it doesn't happen for at least until everything starts to get a little bit better. Trying to remain calm and take it one day at a time.
I feel so much empathy and sympathy for parents in this current world. Especially in the States. I can’t imagine how terrifying it is to be pregnant/due/having just delivered. I’m scared here in Canada, and our case numbers are dramatically lowered, we’re opening back up and I’m not due until 2021, so hopefully a vaccine will be available which would minimize stress. Still though, not something I wish anyone of us was living through
Getting induced tomorrow. I'm glad I had appointment yesterday. We went over changes to visitor policies. They are allowing 1 visitor, but we decided we didn't want any visitors at all. Our Doula has to bring documentation showing she's a doula so she can come into the hospital with us and join us on Labor and Delivery.
Im 38 weeks pregnant and I wish they would allow 2 visitors at my hospital they are down to only one and its so sad to really have to choose between my mom and my childs father to be with me during my stay this is our first child and my my mother's first grandchild I hate this.
I’m 39 weeks anytime I will give birth. I’m so nervous . Last week when I went to my ob they sent me to the hospital because of my bp is high they want me to monitor and get lab test for eclampsia . My dr didn’t allow my husband to come with me . I was so nervous and scared because it’s my first time and If have eclampsia I will have CS anytime . Thank God my lab test result was good. Right now all I do prayed , calm down and have to be strong for my baby .
Thank you! Due end of April. My husband was gonna be my only person with me so I’m glad that was already our plan but still so sad my sister and mom can’t fly in after the baby is born to meet her. Hoping for the best for now. Luckily I can work from home and will start to tmrw. Thank you for making this and keeping me more at ease.
I am 33 weeks pregnant and already had anxiety with having complications with my pregnancy and now trying to calm myself with everything that is happening now in the world 😔💔 I'm praying for a safe delivery and my baby to be healthy, I'm also praying for everyone through these tough times 🙏
I wish there was more information on pregnant people with Covid-19 who have comorbid conditions. I have an autoimmune disease, asthma, liver disease, and I'm on steroids. It's pretty worrisome. Thank you for this video, I hope you stay safe and healthy!
Being in SF Bay Area is particularly stressful these days. I'm due April 25, and I worry about possibly having my future appointments canceled. A lot is changing every day and I try to control my anxiety but it's a struggle. Thank you for making this video! It did help reduce my panicking :)
I'm 33 weeks, due in May. I've been nothing but excited during my whole pregnancy to meet my sweet baby boy 💙 and now I am growing more worried about having to deliver in a hospital. One thing I'm going to ask if I can bring with me is A carseat cover !! I'm thinking it'll protect my baby from any potential germs from the hospital - to home. Even if it's not 100% "fool proof" ... it helps ease my worries as a new Mom ❣
I’m 17 weeks pregnant, I’m an RN, and my unit just recently became a dedicated covid unit. I am so nervous about the possibility of contracting the virus because I’m only in my second trimester....trying to not stress out but it’s so hard. I’ve even considered taking a leave of absence from work for a couple months until this slows down a little :(
35 weeks and I’m so glad it’s my second baby, I would be so much more anxious about all of this. It’s not very bad yet where I am but I’m more worried about just the timeline of all of it. When baby is born that’s when it potentially is going to get bad around here unless people really try and curve this thing. Most of the people in my area that Ive talked to aren’t taking it very seriously and that’s what worries me.
This was filmed the day I gave birth to my 3rd son - March 15! I've been watching your videos my whole pregnancy. It's kind of bittersweet that that part is all over now. But I have a pretty cute baby to show for it, so I think I'll be ok. 😉 I have really enjoyed your videos and will continue to watch and share! I was a little nervous about everything, and the hospital was a bit discombobulated, as the policies and protocols were changing daily, but we actually felt really safe because they were so adamant about sanitation. No visitors were allowed at all (they DID allow my husband and our Doula), and most of the entrances were locked to ensure everyone got screened. They had screening stations set up at every unlocked door, and security in case anyone needed to be escorted out. 😬 It was actually really nice to have no visitors. I was sad our older kids couldn't come see their new brother, but I don't like a lot of visitors anyway. It was just so nice and peaceful without a bunch of people running around the maternity wing! I kept our baby with me in our room at all times which really gave me peace of mind. I'm relieved to be home now, but was pleasantly surprised by how well the hospital was handling everything.
I am in the Philippines and due on May... So sad for that virus. We already Community Quarantine. Can't go to hospital for check ups. Its really alarming... 😭😭😭 Praying for safe and healthy delivery on May..
Thank you for this as well! I’m due in 3 weeks but it’s looking like I will be delivering sooner. We are just trying to stay calm and follow procedures during this time. Good luck everyone ❤️
I had my 35 week appointment yesterday. My doctor's office now has you call to check in, they ask a series of questions and then decide if they will see you. You wait in your car until they have your room ready. I asked so many questions. I asked about what would happen if I was sick when I went into labor and he told me we'd deliver and then be separated and isolated. No visitors at the hospital. And for my family to basically stay away from people. My husband does have to work ( poultry industry, he has to do his job in order for chicken to be able to be processed) but he's not around many people so I'm hoping we can limit that even more. The hard thing was coming to terms with the fact that church is off the table. That's hard for a man who teaches Sunday school and preaches.
Hello! My husband and I want to start trying for our first baby. Would you consider making a video about conceiving during the Novel Corona Virus? We don't want to wait, but I want my husband and immediate family to be involved in the birth. P.S. Thank you for all the great videos. As soon as we started trying to conceive I started watching all of your videos so I can learn as much as I can before hand and get prepared.
Thank you so much for this. Would be great if you could give us tips on how pregnant women can boost their immune system to further avoid catching the disease as well. 35 weeks and diabetic here, 1st baby and very terrified with what’s happening. Praying and hoping for the best.
Thank you so much for making this video. I'm 38 weeks pregnant in the Illinois Chicago suburbs where the states pretty much been shut down at this point. I already have an anxiety disorder so all this covid-19 news hasn't been great for me 😭 but hearing the facts from reliable sources helps me to keep calm. So thank you, thank you, thank you! your video makes me feel better and more prepared.
Glad I could help make you feel more prepared. It’s stressful to give birth during such uncertain times, but we are working hard to keep all the mamas and babies happy, healthy and safe!
Rebecca that's actually very close to me! it's funny I ended up being induced the day after I made this comment. My son is four weeks old now. Hospitals in our area, according to the staff at the hospital I had my son at, are letting only one support person to be with you for your entire stay. Not going to lie, that was very difficult, especially since I didn't find out until I arrived at the hospital with my husband who was then told he would be the only other person allowed to be with me and baby. It broke my heart because I wanted my mom to be there as my support more than anything, but I wasn't about to tell my husband to get lost and not be there for the birth of our baby! And it's definitely been weird having a baby during a global pandemic. But I hope it's comforting for you to know that it really doesn't feel all that different. I'm still mostly staying at home, having sleepless nights, and loving on my baby just like I did with my first son. The hardest part really is just people not being able to come visit him and come love on him too. But this won't be forever, and we still have cameras, phones, and social media to share all those special moments with our loved ones. I hope everything goes well for you and baby and you both stay healthy!
I'm due on July 18th I hope by that time it's all good .. it's our first child and 1st grandchild for both family I want my brother to be with me the whole time as well with my husband I have anxiety problems ... and they both calm me down so far our hospital where I work and planning to give birth only allow 1 immediate family visitor everyone is excited
So frustrated about the corona situation. I hope things have eased a little more by the time I go in for my birth. *Technically* my hospital allows 1 support person plus one of the doulas that they work with (private doula counts as your 1 support person) but they also have suspended the doula program so basically I get one support person.
Due in one week and my OB is not very worried about it and I’m not either. Just hoping for healthy delivery so that I can go home quickly. Our hospital is only allowing one adult visitor/overnight guest, shortened visitation hours(one person at a time), and only has two entrances open. L&D is attached to the main med center but pretty isolated and secured from other parts of the hospital.
Any suggestions or info on RNs who are pregnant? I'm assuming same PPE practices and not allowing pregnant RNs to be assigned to possible COVID pts, just like other droplet/airborne precaution pts. Currently 22 weeks, I work with stroke pts so COVID pts won't be on my unit but you never know bc of demand.
Im not due until October I’m hoping this is all over with or at least calmed down by then. But my thoughts and well wishes to all those mamas that are due soon ! ❤️
I’m due in August. It’s my first baby. At my latest appointment my doctor said that if I or anyone in my household starts coughing or even catches a cold, I can’t go back for my appointments and we’ll have to do everything over the phone. And I’m trying so hard to not stress, especially since I work in a VERY staffed call center. I just pray everyone who is expecting stays safe ❤️
I wash my hands every time I touch anything outside. And sanitize everything...keys, credit cards, wallet, etc. every time I go out and come home. So paranoid in catching this! I read about a mom and newborn getting the virus in the UK, but haven’t heard of that many pregnant women having problems recovering.
In the hospital right now delivered 10days early.and it has been torture only one person is allowed to visit, visitors aren't even allowed in the hospital lobby
I’ve been so stressed and worried about this because I’m due in May & I have doctors appointments weekly at the hospital until then. Ugh it’s so stressful. I’ve been trying not to panic and to stay calm but it’s hard not to worry. Thank you for making this video 💕
Thank you for this vid. I’m due early May, and my hospital is the very one with most of the virus fatalities. Super nervous I’m going to have to deliver alone should my husband or parents get the bug. Buuuutt.......I can do the hard things. Stay well, everyone ❤️
I'm not worried for myself or the baby, but I am worried about my family. They've already booked cross-country flights, and my hospital has up until now had an "unlimited people in the L&D room" policy. I'd hate for them to spend all that money and then be told they aren't welcome. I also worry about their travel in general, since they're all in the 60-64 age bracket. I'm also trying very hard to not get sick so I don't get them sick once they arrive.
My hospital has a one support person policy now. What's really bad for me is I'm planned for a c section (first child and she'll be premature) at the end of this month and I have severe anxiety. All of this is just chaotic and I'm so terrified. I'm trying to be calm but man, that anxiety won't go away.
I’m due in 8 days :( even before the coronavirus hospitals made me nervous, so many sick people... I hope all new mommies have a safe delivery.
Sending good vibes your way for a healthy delivery. 💗
Not sure how other hospitals are but the one I delivered at, the main hospital and birth hospital are two different buildings.
due in 10 days. im right there with yah!
Taste my juicy juice 、 hopefully and thank you so much
Due in 8 days as well. Stay safe and best wishes!
Can you do an updated Covid 19 video? For mommies giving birth now that there’s a little more info
I had my daughter last night. Everything came out well. ❤️ and my hospital was very precautious , we couldn’t have any visitors but only the person who was going to be with you in the delivery room and even at that they didn’t really want that person going in and out as well. Did the nurses doctor and anesthesiologist take extra precautions like face masks and distances?
Congratulations!!
So they didn’t want the person to leave the hospital? Wow! What if you have additional kids at home. My husband would have to go see them and take care of our animals.
Thank you for your reply!
Anne Marie Richards thats my same concerned! Because my doctor told me that only one visitor for your entire stay and i also have two other kids to worried about!!
Giving birth in 5 days. Please send good thoughts my and my baby’s way! ☹️
Sending all the positive vibes and prayers your way. 💗💗
Nurse Zabe Thank you so much!
Congrats and best of luck.
How did it go
daisy padilla It went great! My little angel was born on 3/17. All of your good thoughts and prayers definitely helped. Both my baby and I are healthy and back home already!
Can you do an updated video on the same subject.
I'm due in MAY so I'm praying me and my baby will be fine because I am worried
Alex_ Jaye3 same, I’m due May 2nd. Hope you have a safe and easy delivery mamas 🧡🥺
Praying for you and your sweet, precious baby!
same! im due in July and im freaking out
I’m due May 12th, I truly am wishing everyone the best of luck.
Me too May 15 from 🇨🇦, hoping to have hubby and my doula present with my midwife for my birth
Both you and mama doctor jones have seriously been keeping me sane and feeling semi-prepared this pregnancy. Due In 8 weeks and this Covid-19 madnesses is getting out of control. I appreciate that you made this video. Its so important to get accurate information out there for those looking for it. Thank you again for all you do!
cmkinkead So agree! My hospital cancelled the birth classes so it’s easy to feel unsupported and panicky, thankful for these two calming gems.
These 2 and bridget teyler have been keeping me sane, my due date was 2 days ago and my state just released statements yesterday about hospital policies changing and ive been a little freaked out admittantly
I too am due in 8 weeks and have had concerns. This video helped!
@@catsakae7968 Bridget is not a medical professional and posts a lot of scientifically inaccurate information, so I would take what she says with a grain of salt, and listen to the professionals, who post evidence based information, such as Mama Doctor Jones.
Also due in 8 weeks and my hospital canceled all the classes. I’m a “ftm” and I am searching for online classes.
Due end of July 2021. Just happy right now that my boyfriend is finally able to come to our anatomy scan in March. I hope our daughter gets to have a normal life
Due any day and this is all crazy! I’m ready for this baby to come! So we can get home safe and healthy ASAP!!
Sending good vibes your way for a healthy delivery! 💗💗
Thank you 😊
Meeeee tooooo girl. Hang in there ☹️
Thanks girl you too! I’ll keep you in my thoughts 🙏🏼
Same here, wishing you and your babies good health
I was complaining about being due so far from now cause I am miserable being pregnant but now I am grateful I’m not due until September. Bless all those moms due very soon! I hope your hospitals are taking proper precautions and you all are healthy and have healthy babies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I gave birth on the 6th, a few days before everything got super crazy, and even then I was so paranoid to be in the hospital. Wishing all the pregnant ladies out there a safe delivery❤️everything will be ok!
I'm due mid June and I hope this whole thing will slow down by then, but I'm a little nervous about doing to the hospital for the check ups.
Me too. I'm due june 21 and I am really hoping all this calms down before then.
Lindsey Pindsey please let us know what your doctor says 🙏🏽
Thank you for posting, your voice is very soothing! I'm not currently pregnant but have two young children. God Bless all pregnant women and mothers!!
Due 3/20/20 praying me and my baby boy will be safe. I live in NJ and it is spreading fast. I hope you all have safe deliveries as well! God bless.
Lisa Bergquist I feel the same way ! I’m getting a c-section on the 3rd of April.
If baby doesn't come soon I'll be induced in the 30th which it will be 41 weeks. It's so scary but I'm hoping every thing will be ok
I feel exactly what your feeling!
Can you do an updated version on this subject?( July)
1st pregnancy and was already freaked out so thank you so much for calming me down!
God bless all you new mommas! my baby just turned two moths everything will be okay gotta stay positive 🙏
I’m due May 23rd.. please god protect us all and our babies. I just got over the flu and it was awful!!
Can you do an updated version of this. Helpful
I had my baby in december, just as all this was starting. My midwife was amazing, she made me feel so safe and confortable. I was thinking of you. She was so warm and nice. I am grateful for people like you! 💙
Thank you for this
I’m being induced in five days.
Due May 24th. Also praying.
Me too 8th of April but they told me that one person is allowed to be with in the room
examdrive Hope I also have one person allowed, but that person can’t have any symptoms of sickness. So now we just need to be careful, would be so sad if he couldn’t attend due to a simple cold😣
Due April 2nd and currently trying to encourage early labor before hospitals decide to restrict my fiancé completely! Good luck girls ❤️
How'd everyone do?
I’m here coz I need you in this moment.. hope we have safe delivery to all mamas
I'm due in 3 days and I'm trying to stay positive in these crazy times
Thank you for addressing this issue for us moms who will be delivering during this crazy unorthodox time.
I’m 37 weeks and my OB isn’t concerned about covid 19. I’m not either. Where I’m delivering at is a women’s / baby hospital and not connected to the main hospital.
Glad you are keeping calm! 💗
Good for you mama.. hopefully we gonna be oryt
I cried all the way through this video.
It touched my heart. I hope my nurses are kind to me!
Might want to do an update ☹ thanks for your information. Your so awesome on your videos!
He is now almost 3 months and the rest of my family still needs to meet him but will wear masks when they do
I would love to have an updated version of this video now that policies and cases have changed and now knowing a little more about the virus.
Hi! I’m in Canada too!
@@Nurse_zabe thanks! Hes going to be gone next week again too. Hoping baby boy comes soon!
@@Melaninstonerz where in canada ? :) I'm in bc.
I’m 40w+6 and schedule induction this morning(2hour later). Kaiser is my delivery hospital. I am not panic but definitely worry since we are same building with ER🤪. Love to hear your advice. Thank you 😊
I hope everything went well for you and baby!
I'm due April 12, i appreciate you posting this video
I was sad that I missed the birth of my nephew this passed week due to visitor limitations, but I’m thankful that hospitals are taking the precautions to keep more people healthy and safe, even when it’s not convenient.
Thank you for being understanding. I would be disappointed too. I hope they’ve been spamming you with sweet baby pictures!
I’m due in 4 weeks and I’m praying I go into early labor before this gets any worse 😞
MyMilly Baby I would choose your mom to be there it's a huge comfort . Such a difficult decision ! Good luck whatever you choose ;!
Late I know but the father should be allowed as it is his child too and he helped create it. Unless you two aren't together or something.
I’m due in 3 weeks so thank you so much for this video
I’m 39 weeks anytime I will give birth. I’m so nervous . Last week when I went to my ob they sent me to the hospital because of my bp is high they want me to monitor and get lab test for eclampsia . My dr didn’t allow my husband to come with me . I was so nervous and scared because it’s my first time and If have eclampsia I will have CS anytime . Thank God my lab test result was good. Right now all I do prayed , calm down and have to be strong for my baby .
I’m due May 16 and I’m praying everybody calms down and this virus settles down!!!!! 😤
Can you be my labor nurse?! You are amazingly calm cool and collected. Very informative and warm. Bless the healthcare staff ! 🥰
Due Aug. 28th 2021. As long as my husband is with me everything will be ok.
I’ve even considered taking a leave of absence from work for a couple months until this slows down a little :(
Do it your baby comes first x
Did you end up doing it? Hope all is well
35 weeks and I’m so glad it’s my second baby, I would be so much more anxious about all of this.
I have really enjoyed your videos and will continue to watch and share!
It was actually really nice to have no visitors.
So thankful things went relatively smoothly and you are now home with your sweet baby. Stay home and safe! 💗💗💗
Staying calm is key! Good luck with your upcoming delivery 💗
I’m so happy you put this out. I turned 24 weeks today.
I’m due June 8th and this is just so much to take in but I’m trying to stay calm this video really helped ☺️
Thank you so much for this. Would be great if you could give us tips on how pregnant women can boost their immune system to further avoid catching the disease as well.
35 weeks and diabetic here, 1st baby and very terrified with what’s happening.
Praying and hoping for the best.
Thank you for the video, I appreciate you addressing my concern of the home birth. 🥰
Emily m I’m in Joliet and I’m due in May. I’m so scared :/
I'm due on July 18th I hope by that time it's all good .. it's our first child and 1st grandchild for both family I want my brother to be with me the whole time as well with my husband I have anxiety problems ... and they both calm me down so far our hospital where I work and planning to give birth only allow 1 immediate family visitor everyone is excited
i’m due at the end of the month. going to try to limit visits as both my bf and i have big families.... my babies health is my #1 priority💗
Due late April; thank you for posting this!
Keep up the good work and educating, with your platform. From one nurse to another.
Im not due until October I’m hoping this is all over with or at least calmed down by then. But my thoughts and well wishes to all those mamas that are due soon ! ❤️
Same!
Today my doctor schedules my c-section and boy DO I HAVE QUESTIONS! But this video has seriously helped me thank you so much ❤️
Thank you for this video, please update us if you can!
I’m Due in 8 weeks and I hope it gets better so far the doctors won’t let no one in for labor & delivery
Stay calm and practice good hand hygiene. You’ve got this! The hospital is working hard to keep you healthy and safe! 💗💗
Thank you so much for creating this video Zabe. I’m so grateful for your knowledge. Definitely super informative and reassuring for me x
