What???? That is crazy!!! In the US at that rate you will be lucky to get a studio apartment but in a crime ridden neighborhood with folks on the street that are always packing..ie carrying guns. The US sucks!! One needs a lot of money to have any quality of life in the US. I was doing okay working as a Chemist but lost it all when I got sick.

My guess it would list for 18-20 million pesos and sell for 12 to14 million, based on what I have seen around Iloilo (about $220k?) just a guess though that is the issue with no MLS type system there is no real data on what things actually sell for

He won the lottery! i am surprised they rented out at that price. It may have been that they really don't need the money, just for someone to maintain it. Gald he locked in on a two year deal. And most landlords don't allow pets. i guess if you look, you shall find!

But NOW I see they even rescue cats & have both cats & dogs (not too many do that but those who do are always great people). Beautiful home. Sometimes good deeds are rewarded, I actually prefer it to the friend they told about the other rental. Though that place is also way nice esp as a rental! Your solar co friend, will not say his name for his privacy, his Dad and aunt are very good friends of mine who I grew up with and our families were very close. For instance, 30 min daily to get to my gym, and depending on the time I left, sometimes it was a 40 min drive home. Ledesco is closer to everything we frequent with way less traffic hassle. He has said he definitely plans to travel in Thailand in the future. I am partial to the Phil, as it is part of my heritage, & have never been in Thailand. But I agree your people are welcoming because I always remember one Thai woman with whom I worked briefly many many years ago. She was doing a type of tour /visiting learning experience in our field of work. I never again worked or socialized so closely with a Thai person from Thailand. She was the most gracious, gentle , generous oerson. We were friendly in the brief months we worked together, toured her around that city , restaurants etc…Unfortunately we lost contact after her return to Thailand, there was a language barrier. But I think of her fondly, she was a great ambassador for her homeland. But back to Michael! He had special circumstances, he has explained in prior videos & livestreams, esp in the other/original channel. In brief (lol), he always wanted to live in a warm tropical climate on a beach, COVID came & convinced him to not wait until traditional retirement ages, he fell in love with & married a Canadian woman who is 1/2 Filipina (but born & raised in Canada). So the Phil was a natural choice as his wife could obtain dual citizenship & they wud then have rights to open businesses, work for others, buy property, stay forever, etc….Sadly, the marriage has not endured, but Michael said in his own words that though that relationship ended he finds he fell in love with the Philippines & still loves the nation & people. So he decided to stay there as his home. But you never know Thailand is very close by & many transfer residences. But I think M has put down roots in Phil. Bloom where you are planted & some say Fate or life circumstances, I would say God’s Providence, planted Michael in Phil. & he is blooming away….Nothing at all disparaging to Thailand, so please don’t be tearful🌸🌻There’s no crying in baseball or on TPL channel (well except for happy or moved tears).

So he moved from the 'murder capital of the US', 'New Orleans' to paradise on the other side of the world, and living in peace too in the Philippines.
I live close to New Orleans but i have not visited the city in over ten years, as i value my life! So many folk on drugs roaming the streets and trying to bum some change from you. If you ask for directions they will charge you for it. The new governor of Louisiana has now put in place the National Guard to patrol the streets to keep the tourists safe, although without their weapons. They don't want to scare the tourists. i just heard today on the news that 3 people were shot and killed in New Orleans, which is a low count. Just a couple of years ago they had some teenage kids try to carjack a grandmother and when she got caught up with the seat belt when exiting, they dragged her body down the street, dismembering her body. And it was all caught on a business ring camera as it was around noon. These teens said, they were feeling hot, walking in the sun and wanted a a/c vehicle to ride in. The poor grandmother was eating her lunch i believe. Poor innocent woman, did not deserve that. She was in her sixties and her grandkids will never see her again.
That is the good ol' U, S of A, for you!!! Sorry to bring it up, just trying to keep real! If you leave the US, never look back!
In our city last year, we had a young college kid that was sitting in her vehicle in the afternoon, waiting for the train to pass by right in the downtown area. Pretty girl that was a classical dancer, she was murdered for her cellphone by some teenages as well.
i am sure he does not miss New Orleans! They seem like real great people that is why God has blessed them with this beautiful house. Which is why the owners also choose them. Good hardworking business people. The West is just become a really bad place to live. That is why i want out! Unfortunately my disability income does not pay much and i have some chronic medical issues or i would have left over 10 years ago. i am doing better now and making plans to leave!

Dogs that don't listen to commands are a sad reflection of the owner. Who is in charge at that house?

His dogs are the typical untrained mut. Don't understand why they don't train them. I live on 17ac in mountains. My two dogs guard my flock but do not bark unless a predator is near. Nice home but pity his neighbors.
