    This video couldn't have come at a more perfect time! Currently awaiting my Babylock jubilant to arrive in the mail (I live in a rural area so I had to order one online). I just bought 3 of your patterns on Etsy and while I was printing them out I was trying to figure out what thread to get and got a notification of your new video! Seriously, thank you so much for sharing your tips, tricks, and tools. There is so much information out there but yours is so informative and helpful. THANK YOU and please don't ever stop doing this channel. You are my go to.

    So fun! And the fit turned out great! How much pull are you putting on the elastic?

    Hello! This is great. I'm a bit of a beginner and still exploring. Do we need different serger needles also? Will the "Jersey" ones work for a serger? Thanks

    Amazing video! Quick question - do you always use the same color white thread for all your swim suits? Or do you ever use matching colored thread? Thank you!! :)

    Thank you for the in-depth guide! I’m planning on sewing swim. I will be buying the Brother 1034DX and a Brother Sewing & Embroidery Combo to add additional designs on the bikini tops.
    Is there anything I need to make sure the sewing machine has specifically for swimwear?

      I haven’t done embroidery for swimwear so I’m not quite sure the things you’d need to look out for on that end. But most machines *should* be able to handle swimwear, the big difference is features that help more than others. For example my Pfaff has a built in walking foot which is super helpful for swim!

      @ I see, is there any machine you’d recommend to go with a Brother 1034D? I’m doing research for swim and many pros use $1K and up which I don’t have the budget for on each machine but more of $1K in total. Maybe you know a couple machines that add up to $1K that work well for swim.

      @@CandyStreams I've been quite happy with my Janome 2212, and I bought a walking foot for it to help with swimwear! Also if it's available in your area, try to find used machines. Then you can get a fancier machine for a lot less money!

    Hi! Thank you for your great videos!
    How many elastic threads do you use for the serger machine?

    Gutterman is the best thread

    Thanks for the video! Question about the needles - do you put the stretch needle both on the sewing machine and the serger? or just replace them on the regular sewing machine?

    hey! great video! one quick question, for threads do you use stretch for serger and regular polyester on sewing?
    thanks!

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use regular polyester for both my machines!

    Katie. How about 'chalk' for markings ? It might be necessary to amend or scribe a higher legline or lower armhole suited to a particular customer wearing togs, so the adjustment meets their needs for any pageant or fitness modelling routine ! V.

      Great idea! For those doing fittings I'd say tailor's chalk is a nice tool to have.
