- This is the second of two videos on how to create alternative prints from digital negatives that involve contact printing.
This video (Part 6) shows the creation of a Cyanotype print on Rice Paper, and deals with the difficulties of printing onto a fragile paper that weighs less than 40gsm.
The. first video (Parts 1 - 5) detail how to create the negative from a digital file and using the ChartThrob script file available from www.botzilla.co...
Again, awesome.
Straight forward and logical follow up to your equally informative guidance provided in "Making a Digital Negative Parts 1-5" video. As a beginner with cyanotypes and making digital negatives, these videos are priceless to me. Thanks, Tom.
Thanks Michael - I'm really happy that someone is benefitting from my (long) years in photography. Your comments are my welcome reward. Best wishes, Tom
@Tom Lee, Really good video! Thanks for sharing. I am just wondering how do you mount the photo as the paper is so fragile?
At the end of the video you can see the finished print sandwiched between two pieces of glass/acrylic. The glass is held together with spring clips which can also be used to display (wall mount) the artwork or it can just be placed on a table easel. Thanks for taking time to watch and comment - best wishes.
