Honestly I find the majority of the remaster attempts on here to not be that good at all, but this one is legitimately one of the best I've heard thus far. Amazing job to you and everyone who worked on this remaster!
Honest opinion here: this remaster is one of the better ones! Maybe even the best. The vocals are un-freakyfied flawlessly, thankfully, but the quality does sound off; I've heard a better one. This is still freaking awesome!! Definitely the best remaster up until this point at least. Thx for the download links! You peeps did a great job!!
There actually was a version before this, it was like beta version 3 - it had sharp vocals but they were TOO sharp, they were honestly painful to listen. So in final version 3, and here, the vocals' treble is slightly lower so that it doesn't sound like it's being played on a dirty rusty speaker.
we had to cut off the high ends a little bit because ry thought that they were "too sharp" anyways i appreciate your appreciation for this, we put a lot of work into this

@@xtrerr yes, this uses the drums from the official 2024 release since these were taken from an actual master tape and in some parts it uses the electric guitar from the official release, such as the chorus!

I'm actually glad you noticed it, Macintozh made this little mistake himself and he stated it on a discord server - I'm working on version 4 which should come out very soon, it uses the real bass from the official release, so it will be 90% authentic
I'm so allergic to imperfection I actually updated the audio files to have the 2 missing claps. While I can't update the video file for this video and I really don't want to upload another version just for that, I only updated the links in the pinned comment so now you can download it and it will contain the 2 claps! Not as convenient, but it'll be there waiting for anyone who will download it from the links and they probably won't even notice a difference, lol.
this is overall good but the mixing is pretty bad, not accurate to an actual 80s song mix and it sounds like everything has reverb on it There's too much bass, air and too much stereo
look i can try making one last version for this that would have better mixing but tell me what's wrong is it the bass, vocals being off tune or what else because i genuinely can't tell like i think the vocals are perfect

I think that is because Macintozh's drums don't have these claps too, and I based the official release drums recreation off Mac's drums :/
