I had that same sausage! Different restaurant, but I spent the night and the next day sick! I agree, it's burned into my memory too.

I liked the street traffic by the Arc de triumph. I'm not sure if we were under the arc de triumph.
We went to the opera house and moulin Rouge.
I don't like moldy cheese either.

We went in Feb. It rained so hard everyday and it was the coldest I have ever been in my life! We stayed in the 16th Arrondissement. Loved the crepes and wonderful.small restaurants. I loved Paris, but would definitely go back in summer..lol.

Closing the lights at eleven is part of electricity sparing we had this year due to lot of nuclear plants on repair and Ukraine war. But we managed to avoid electric shutdowns all this winter !

Maybe things were closed off in preparation for planning or setting up for the Olympics next summer. I think the opening ceremony and maybe volleyball is taking place on those grounds.

Crowds are a lot bigger in the summer. We went to Paris in June and weather was lovely but the crowds were a lot bigger then in your videos. The Palace of Versailles for example was so crowded I couldn’t get a photos except of the ceilings as too many people in the way. That hall of chandeliers my photos are of those and heads, lots of heads. Mona Lisa at the Louvre we saw from across the room with so many people packed in the way to see it. We loved being there and the experience but the didn’t realize there were other times of the year we could see it all better. The cold might be worth it.

@@ThePasinis nice! You should take Jessi there sometime, it's an awesome culinary experience since our food is a fusion of Italian, Balkan and Austrian cuisine. Our coastal area where I grew up is bilingual, so I really enjoy watching your videos because it always reminds me of home! It's super interesting that we share so many similarities with the region of Friuli and Italy in general. I can't live without my hand gestures 🤌, Lavazza, Bauli, Mulino Bianco, my nonna's frico and I'm the weird co-worker that makes her coffee in a caffettiera 😊 keep up the good work with your content e in bocca al lupo 😊

The sausage is an acquired taste but very French.. I think most tourists have fallen for it at some point.. disgusting smell like old urine…I have never had a macaron at la Durée… but have tried other small patisseries… and it is hit and miss and everyone has different taste. If you watch other videos on food in Paris.. everyone has their favourite… some places more obscure than others.. I am glad you tried Alcazar.. next time try Ralphs’ or Baratin or Chez Dumonet. There are only two metro lines that are enclosed at platform.. the numbers 1 and 4 lines.. if they are enclosed it means the train is driverless.. totally automatic.. I guess some day they will all be but for now I believe only two are…

No way! Sorry, but Rome does not have a chance compared to Paris! Paris is way more beautiful!

One of our supervisor explained to me how to use the trains in Paris in 1996. Back then Paris was filthy with dog poo and street cleaner dog poo machines.
When we got a cab to the Moulin Rouge, the lady put money on the meter and we paid more too. I tried to argue with her.
I loved the area in Amsterdam we were in. We went to London first.
In 1996 I don't recall the Eiffel Tower being blocked off. I think now it is blocked off.
