Great job on your videos! I really appreciate you explaining each plant and placement. It gives us ideas for our gardens. I really enjoy your videos. I recently discovered your channel and am extremely glad I did!! 😊👍
This was very helpful for me. I am designing and planting a large slope garden at our church. The lowest sloped area needs erosion control otherwise a hard rain will run into the air intake vent to the basement.
Yikes! I just got back from a nursery and yes, those conifers can be pricey! Lovely, but I will need to keep looking as I couldn’t spend $300-400 for one plant 😬 Last year we moved our statues on top of a berm of dirt we had and used Emerald Green arbs, roses, perennials and redbuds. Really made a difference to showcase the statues. A couple boulders would be nice and some retaining stone should complete it. Nice job!
This is probably a dumb question but if you’ve used a weed killer is some of that product not left in the soil and won’t it harm the new plants going in???
I am sure some does..It only hangs around for maybe 14 days. Most labels will tell you when you can plant after spraying. Never use it where you are going to plant anything you are going to eat. If I spray in an area that has desirable plants too I drop a funnel over the sprayer nozzle so I don't drift onto other plants.
You mentioned that you utilize something to help with the Japanese Beetles- can you please share what it is? I just ripped out 10 David Austin Rose bushes bc the Japanese beetles get to the buds before I do. 😢
