7,400 people have no idea how they got here and no desire to leave. What an amazing find. Some days the Universe knows what you need and delivers. Today was that day for me and I got what I needed. So here I sit with my guitar and my nine year old drum prodigy (literally) sitting next to me jamming out after a pretty tough day in the office. Perfect. Thank you guys for this.
saw them at concert in Gromka, Ljubljana, had a chance for a quick chitchat with them, genuinely warm, sincere and passionate guys...they surely offered us big time preformance :)
It feels like a very dark place, where only some little light gets in. Like something to give hope and keep going and going. But that light feels so far away that you feel like you can't reach it. But it is there, and even with the darkness there you'll find a way to get stronger and stronger as the music escalades. Then you get to a place when you finally made it, All that you've been trough seems like nothing because there's nothing better than that moment right there. It finally made sense. You're finnaly exactly where you wanted to be, stronger than ever...
+kataklysm92 thx! Still I guess there's no best accurate description for anything. Different people = different realities = different interpretations. I just felt like sharing mine when dealing with some heavy stuff and this soundtrack kept me going!
It's like if you took Jakob, Isis, Agalloch, If These Trees Could Talk, and Steve Von Till's Harvestman and rolled them all together and then sprinkled some never-before-heard creative extra goodies to the mix...in other words, this album is ORGASMIC.
Thank you so very much, first of all for such an amazing album. Secondly, for sharing it in it's entirety in a single video here for all of us to enjoy. And thirdly, enabling us to download it for free. You guys are inspirational, as musicians and as people, and have made a life time fan of me (and I've only just heard of you). I hope all the best for you guys and your endeavours. P.S. in return of these album, I will be sure to spread the word of you guys and your work to all I meet and know. Peace out. \m/ \m/
Typed the wrong thing into youtube and found this band by pure chance. I love my post rock and I reckon this is one of the best albums Ive ever heard and im like 9 minutes in lol. Cracking band!!!! Come to the UK.
Postrock is a wide specter, some prefer synths and some prefer guitars, you can choose b/w techno and also more instrumental stuff. You can find awesome bands and also, some mediocre music in the PostRock world. Here I can listen to everything, not only guitars, not only heavy drums, not only atmospheric and mysterious string arrangements. It's a complete master piece the whole album, specially Ara Caeli and Requiem. Also and incredible cover illustration, creepy and magic, calm and dazzling.
This is my second time listening the post- style, I found this band at metal archives and I find this awesome! I mean, these guys, as some djent bands, show that there's no need to have a vocalist to sound awesome.
This is album is really epic so far. Another gem I found. And as I was listening to the song @ 16:00, I was thinking about a dead family member that meant a lot to me. I wondered what the song was called, so I looked in the description, only to find out it is called requiem...Oh, the sadness. Anyways, really good album. Thanks for uploading!
you know, I listen to a new post-rock band almost every night, for like two months now. I'm subscribed to a few TH-cam channels so I fin a lot of new bands every day. you guys are easily in the top ten.this is just so much more exciting and interesting to listen to, for me especially since I am a metal guitarists. very nice work gentleman, very nice work. thank you for the post, I will most likely be buying a record soon
nothing to throw away, I saw them last night on stage in Bordeaux, France. I alreday liked them, since 2009 when I discovered them, but on stage, they are so generous, they give all ! just breathtaking
I'm mostly into post-metal like Isis. This is the heaviest post-rock I've heard, that I like. Some God Is An Astronaut gets pretty intense though, I'd recommend getting into them if you haven't already.
Hello!! I'm a student from Canada, Quebec, studying in Multimedia. I was wondering if I could use some song(s) from your new album, Toundra (III), for a school project? Of course, no money would be made with the project, and it wouldn't be distributed outside of school. I thought it could be a way to get some of my friends at school to get to know this band! Thanks!
I have removed the rock I have been living under for too long and found Toundra. Freaking fantastic.
Trevor Henderson Does that mean you're now living... *puts sunglasses on* ...post-rock?

Mejor grupo de progresivo de España! Si queréis escuchar más música progresiva española os recomiendo El Páramo y The Missing Watermelon

00:00 to 40:23 some of the best post rock/metal ever

I can hear lots of Tool in the last song. I love it.
Best post-rock I've heard in some time. This band is amazing!

The intro of the first song reminds me of a song Agalloch
Yeah I guess I can hear some Ghosts Of The Midwinter Fires in there.
Nicely heard mate.

Totally not expecting this from the art work pleasantly surprised!
Second track on this album is so good, this band is amazing.
I've downloaded this album legally, because I immediately like this. I want to pay the money for this great music. Thanks!! ;-D
The art itself reminds me of a game called The Battle For Wesnoth or something along those lines, and the music sounds pretty epic too :D
This is perfect on all levels.

One of the best @postrock LP and powering ( today /imho/yet) by Toundra

What a wicked picture...Loving it. I found this in teh suggested list while listening to Russian Circles
Excellent album sound and feel! Good job!
This is honestly some of the best progressive rock I have ever heard in my life. Thanks for putting it out and for free!
accidently i stumbled upon this gem , amazing the whole album
Check the other TOUNDRA albums then, they are also great. They released a new one called "Vortex" recently.
Super. One of the best band I listen in last years.
While I bet cultural borders will never let me fully appreciate this band or even let alone this Album (and the art holy shit) is a fucking vibe.
Nice discovery. Thanks to you for the upload!
Esta banda es gigante, qué maravilla. Saludos desde Colombia.

Brice L. try the Machine - the track Pyro is great. As is all the rest of the albums.
Brice L. Sorry - forgot. The Machine is not post-rock. It's stoner-rock/stoner-jam
Anyways check the album called Solar Corona - DAMM that's good
Brice L. Russian Circles, they have a nice selection.
