I'm suprised, I've had mine since release, and taking it apart and cleaning any hairs or dust out seemed to fix it. I guess I did use the software settings to negate the issues, like raising base deadzone to stop slight drift from affecting gameplay. Glad people have figured this out!!
I have had BOTH joystick tops break off while playing...BOTH...I had to super glue them back on so i could use the damn thing and now my X button is sticking like crazy...Cleaned the hell out of it but it still sticks...Worse $200.00 I ever spent.

Agreed, I have the Astro c40 right now and I’m having the same issues. Before this I had a scuf prestige and had the exact same issues a month or so into using it. Doesn’t matter the company they will all break eventually.
My controller is not working. I didnt play with it for a little bit and now want to play war zone with it and it isnt working at all. I have let it charge over night I have tried to calibrate it but the cord wont recognize the control. I bought a cord for ps4 controlls and still isn't recognized so I know its the controll
Have your battle beaver module lasted longer then regular? Also I've only had my astro for 2 weeks and it's already got stick drift and I don't even use my l3 or r3 I have them mapped to the back buttons...I went to return my controller and the serial number don't match on the controller and the box..it was new never opened and im 100% sure about that
So I got some battle beaver analog modules but my Astro c40 keeps blinking amber as if the modules are not seated right. I triple checked this and reset multiple times. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue
It’s funny you posted this today. Just last night I experienced the exact same issue with my L3 trying to sprint. I honestly chalked it up to lag or something at first but then it was obvious it was the controller. I have only had my C40 since the new year so I hope Astro is willing to be understanding and send a replacement. I love it except for that.
I have the exact same issue so don't worry about being one of the few but no drift issues. When I would take the plate off and put it back on then the problem would work itself out for a couple of Cod matches. However it comes back and thanks for the battle beaver info I think I will check them out
I bought 2 battle beaver extreme tension modules to try out, and I went on buying 6 extra battle beaver modules because they worked amazing! I was tired of dealing with astro and having to go through the same warranty steps to get a new set of modules that would eventually give out in a couple of days. Now my C40 is working beautifully!
So i got it from a friend and i really love it but it is stick drifting but like a little bit but its anoying so contacted razer and hoping for a reaction! (Btw i got no information about the receive or some but i hope they will still help me since bot of them are drifting and but 2 new ones is 40 euros wich is expensive
Nice video. I kinda curious about swapping analog and dpad. What is the purpose to enable swapping on right analog? Because the main reason for swapping is to make it interchangeable between xbox layout & ps4 controller layout. Which is only swapping left analog & dpad.

I'm having the L3 issue that prevents me from being able to sprint in Cod I've only had the controller for three weeks and have been having the issue for about a week now. Swapped it out from best buy since they have 30 day policy. Pretty shitty problem for the price point.
I had the same problem. I just took the stick modules apart and blew all the dust out and it fixed the problem. Try it out. It’s only 2 screws and real easy to put back together

I ordered some replacements from battle beaver customs shortly before I blew them out and got them working, so kind of a waste of money on my part, but it might be worth looking into for you if blowing out all the dirt and grit didn’t work. Another thing you could try, which is a temporary fix, is to load up the software on computer and see where the dead zone is. For me, the stick wouldn’t register until I was a 60% pushed forward, so I made it so that anything past 60% is 100%. It might help you out for a short while till you get them replaced. GL

spank yanks took about 5 business days for me; I live in the states. It takes a bit longer than the 3 business days it says on the website, because they build them for you once you put the order in, so it’s 3 business days after they build them. I wouldn’t think living in the UK would add too much more time to the order. Let me know how you like them. Haven’t tried mine yet. Waiting for my old ones to mess up again. Lol

I put it down for awhile but I got mine for my birthday on the 12th. I was looking at the pieces before I set it up. The the second I plugged it in I had stick drift so yea I looked on TH-cam but still didn't work
Bro these controllers are amazing but also the biggest headache... I’m on my complete second controller and the stick drift is happening again and my sprint button is messed up. I feel like I’m spending way too much on a controller 😂
Uhm my nacon revolution 2 does something weird with my headphones every time i plug it in all the sound comes out 1 ear but when i plug it in my dualshock 4 my headphones work and sound comes out of both ear thingzz so do you maybe know a solution to this problem is it my nacon BTW i searched it up on google and i am not the only one who has it maybe there is a new software update ?????
Hey I have a issue ! And it is that I can only hear from one side of my headphone when I use my Astro controller but when I use my regular ps4 controller I can hear from both sides from my headphone , how can I fix this ?
I had the exact same issue with my first c40 along with the L3 sprint and drift issue. I contacted Astro and they tried to troubleshoot over the phone to no avail. I sent the controller back to them and a few weeks later they sent me a replacement free of charge even though it was out of warranty. This was about 6 months ago and they haven’t contacted me to let me know what was wrong with my original controller. Now, about a week ago, the sprint issue is back again with my replacement controller. Hence the reason I’m on TH-cam trying to fix it. The only thing I can tell you is to contact Astro about the headset jack issue and hopefully they’ll replace your controller, good luck.
Anyone wondering about the BBC extreme tension...The increased module makes the controller 100% better IMO. Skip the advanced or whatever it’s called and get an extreme. Also they have them already fabricated and packaged so even with the social isolation in effect I still received my modules in 3 days( free shipping)
Haven't had stick drift or broken L3 yet ( i have had this happen to a lot of other controllers) However, I am having issues with my rear paddles. If i push them down too hard (stressful moment in game), they can get stuck and it's a pain to undo them while trying to play a pvp game. I actually returned a controller to best buy because of this. Literally a week into my second astro I started having this issue. So now I'm just being careful with it. It's really annoying and I have to change the way I play, but oh well. Not worth going to best buy for a return multiple times a year for the same issue if I know it's something built into the controller and not a one-off problem.

I would never buy another razer product after dealing with their customer service when I received a broken Raiju TE out the box. They systematically designed their customer service to make it almost impossible to actually get a refund for the product and they know it was broken when they sent it out pretty scandalous
I installed my Battle Beaver tension sticks today. My experience with the astro c4 is about the same as yours. The sprint to stop symptom was the last straw.
Its worth getting both and put the bb ones when the stock analogs start to wear out, battle beaver + Astro = Solid controller that will last long with easy interchangable parts, built in trigger stoppers, and etc, I would recommend it

Yeah I had the same problem. I had it connected with the app open and saw that it's not fully registering that you're moving the thumbstick. Astro sent me a free one in a clear bag. This one works fine it just feels like it's grinding on something. I love this controller cause the thumbstick rubber does wear off like scuf and the concave is like the 360.

My L3 did the same thing in just under 4 months. Drifting too immediately after L3 issue. Casual FPS gaming

I installed bb extreme tension on mine a few days ago, has been the best controller and feels good to use it again
So far, those Battle Beaver inserts are doing the job. I can use the controller again.
