The Old Sarum Story for KS2

Presented by Owain Hughes, this is the story of how life in Salisbury began on top of the hill. People came and went through time until eventually the big decision was made to move everything into the valley and build what is now called The City of Salisbury. This telling is aimed at Junior school ages, KS2, and features The Iron Age, Romans, Saxons and Normans and looks at life in a castle and discusses why and how the original castle was built and then moved to the present valley location.
