I have to say your real kind for helping out with stolen stuff! But I think when it comes to these costly kits you should try to get get shippers to hold them for pickup, might be out of the way for the customer but atleast the item is safe.
If they got stolen from the delivery property, you are NOT responsible for that. They have to take it up with the delivery agent, whoever that might be. Its cool you refunded them but that was a financial hit you weren't responsible for.
Delivery driver did take pictures of the package being delivered to the door so I don’t think they are no longer responsible in this situation. It’s terrible but someone needs to take responsibility and in this situation, we thought we would take the hit. The last thing as we want a customer of ours to be Out-of-pocket and upset. I know we didn’t have to do the refund but in the end, I think it was the best decision. This is only happened twice this year so luckily for us it’s not a big problem. Going forward I might make it mandatory for signatures on high valued orders.

It's a very nice thing to do given the price of the kit, but I would offer to share the hit 50/50 with the client - that would be generous enough I feel. However unlucky for the client, you are not to blame. Also, if that client won't spend that money in your shop in the future he is a d&^% :)

what happens when you cant fit any more skids in your warehouse, are the gundam shipments pre-allocated and you have to find a way to fit them, or you just put it on halt while stock sells
He'd either stack them outside or tell the delivery company he's using to wait a bit (those boxes don't come straight from Bandai, there's a few dudes in-between)

Honestly, I ordered kits from Bandai in advance in some cases 6 to 8 months ahead of schedule then it’s a matter of when it shows up. If I’m lucky spread out if I’m unlucky all at once lol. Then I panic and have to figure out a way to get them in the warehouse. having said that I have Skids coming and I have no idea what to do. I think I have two days to figure it out.

Agreed! Also, I’ve had a lot of phone calls from people that needed help. I’m willing to help but then I find out they never purchased from us and there Shop did not want to help them, so they’re looking for help from us. In these situations, I can’t help.

Just a question to do you guys ship to the Philippines? Reallly wanted to bulk buy from a shop but most of the hobby shpps here in the Philippines dont have the kits that i want😢

Both are true, but in the end, the gunpla community is pretty honest in my opinion so I like to take people at there word and at the end of other day anybody that purchased from us, I want them to be completely happy because they chose us to support!

I was home all day watching movies with a clear view of my driveway, they where never here. This was in November, i had talked to you on the phone about it. I realize it’s not your fault and shouldn’t have to be responsible for their mistakes,but im out the kit and the money. Not sure where i go from here.
That is so frustrating, sorry to hear that. As soon as something like that happens, encourage everyone to reach out as quickly as possible by phone. We have resources that the average person does not have access to so many packages have been recovered/delivered because of what options we have available to us. But if you wait a week or two a lot of the resources disappear unfortunately.

I imagined some karen stealing the package and then going home, thinking its a robot toy and giving it to her 9 yr old son to smash it up.

You need a person just to restock the shelves for like 2 days just to clear the walking area.

You should replace the kits if you can and refund what you cannot. It's more important to keep customers happy so they're long term customers.
