Honestly love how the build is developing, and btw u were the one making the portals i think its because of whats relic u found.

The spacetime vortices are being spawned in because of your "Fates have their way" weapon. It's a 2.5% chance. BTW, one thing I found useful to prevent merchant inventories getting messy with sold items is to proselytize a very low level non-aggressive animal, give them something worthless, put them near the merchant and dismiss them. Boom, someone you can trade with that will give infinite water and you don't have to worry about clogging up a real merchant's inventory. They'll wander somewhat, but so far just a bit and it's very easy to find them.

Yes, those weapons are virtually unusable, like equipment that makes you blink when you take avoidable damage.
Interesting strategy with the low-level animal... so, you just need like 40 waterskins, you sell your stuff to the animal to fill them up (with as much as 2,540 drams of water), the junk clutters the animal's inventory, and then you spend the water on the actual merchant who has stuff you want to buy, which doesn't clutter their inventory? That would actually work, but I'm not sure it isn't more trouble than browsing through the clutter.

@@BigSlimyBlob It's close to that, and I've done that before (albeit with way fewer waterskins, like 800 water worth). I haven't been playing long, but what I do is get/hold onto gems/ore asap, buy from the merchant with those, then use the animal as an ATM to buy the gems back from the merchant. So if I pay 1200 with gems, I'll make 2 trips back and forth from the animal with 600+ water to buy them back. I'm pretty sure the fixed value means you don't lose any drams. Since I only ever need a couple of items from a vendor I don't find it too tedious, and that way all my crap ends up on a dedicated "mule".
It may be too much hassle for some, but I like knowing I'm not missing new stuff in a huge list when merchants restock. I also only use it for in-town or epic vendors since I don't want to be trekking back and forth in the wilderness. Your mileage may vary.

@@ColinGrymYeah, my first thought was to place the animal one or two tiles away from the vendor of your choice, and overburden it with too much junk (you could sell it a lot of heavy stuff on the first transaction) so it can't move. Then you could sell it any any amount of stuff in exchange for water, even if it's way more than your carry capacity, and talk to the merchant right next to you to spend it.
I can see the convenience in a smaller vendor inventory. Polygel isn't strictly the only thing you want from a merchant, there could be an occasional Arsplice Seed in there or something. It's likely I missed a few good items over all the hours I've played.

@@BigSlimyBlob Nice idea with weighing it down to keep it from moving. I never considered that but it would be convenient.

Once I got my six-armed dismemberment build going, it turned into a very dark collectathon of gathering the faces of notable characters and wearing them on my two-faced helmet.

Historic sites are the juiciest bit of content! Though sometimes they get a bit grindy. Still, a relic chest on the surface? Never seen that either. Too bad it was a "the Fates have their way" weapon, these are unusable due to vortexing you all the time. The Spaser is very nice though, Teleportation is super good.
Merchants will never sell Phase Cannons for less than 2,105. And they wouldn't display as "Cannon" unless you'd previously identified a Phase Cannon anyway.
It's tragic that Tacos have become so rare in shops. Nowadays I just buy as many Flawless Crysteel Daggers as I can. Better than Floating Glowspheres or Gold Nuggets.
The unidentified thing Bep had was a Longreach Grappling gadget. I didn't even know he could have things other than cybernetics and recoilers!
My favorite delimbening build: Horns as main, 8 serrated axes, 4 overloaded precision nanon fingers. Horns do tons of damage and, being Short Blades, let you bump-attack more often (giving the axe-wielding arms more chances to trigger).

Unfortunately, the teleportation mutation never gets a radius smaller than 2, unlike the hi-fi matter-recompositor. Additional levels just reduces the cooldown, which is still worth it if you're intent on having the mutation.

I can't remember when in the last few episodes I swore I saw radio something at the early game plant merchant cant remember their name or name of the town. Is it the one with the Tomb of the Eaters? Likely its gone by now and I forgot to comment unfortunately, probably wouldve been too late anyways.
