People need to stop caring so much about blood and family relation, in the end those two things mean absolutely nothing to anyone, what matters is your own personal relationship with the people around you, if you have no relationship with any of them, then they basically aren't related at all you are strangers.
Actually, blood and family relation means a lot to a majority of the worlds population. It's only in the modern western society that we have decided that family means nothing, because we have a rather unique view of individualism and a hardcore faith in that the state will protects us and our rights.
