Nice. My guess why they put the hard plastic for the door storage is so if ya put bottles, maps or something 'hard' in there it wont damage or scuff the leather. Other possible thought is if liquids get spilt (we all have done that at one point, not just the kids) or chocolate or other sticky foods gets 'hiden' there, it'll be easier to clean. Wont ruin the leather. Thats only my thought.
JB. Great review. I still like the Escalade more. We have or I should say my wife has the new Escalade. I like the infotainment cluster across the dash, looks cleaner. The voice amplifier system(even people in the back can hear what the driver is saying without yelling back there). Not sure what it’s called but when you close lightly close the doors they power assist to close. The inside accents are really nice. The colors in our area are usually black or white. She has a midnight blue with what looks glittery when up close. When you look from afar you’d think the Caddy is black. The big thing is she loves it. Me, I stick to driving my 3500HD.

Great vehicles. We own a 17 Cadillac Escalade Premium, and i would say that the extra money spent on the Cadillac is not worth it. The GMC is nearly identical and $10-15k less money. I hate the all touchscreen junk and the Adaptive Cruise Control in the Caddy and the ride is not any better than my 2500 Ram Laramie with air ride, although they added indepent rear to the GM suvs which is a good improvement. My wife and i both prefer the seats and interior in my truck.
Love it but this makes zero sense , might as well buy the escalade ( comes concierge service biggest benefit ) But this trend that manufacture Do. The Armanda Nissan limited trim it’s only couple thousand cheaper then QX80 literally same vehicle but very slight better interior and tech and air suspension system and their concierge service
This IS NOT!!!!!!!! a naturally aspirated V8 engine. It has NOT been for many years in the Denali, or the Escalades or the Sierras or the you name it. IT IS A GDI engine Gas Direct Injection, hence the reason why there is carbon build up. You should really check this out before you review this truck. Other than that it's an awesome truck. You also said this is a 2024, but the Monroney sticker is for a 2023.
You do realize during the engine chapter, you never said what engine this actually has? I wanted to know but you never said anything about it haha. You went all around it with other manufacturers and stuff but never said what this has

Infotainment screen is almost identical… just a slightly bigger rectangle vs Escalades huge concave, continuous screen setup; 18 speakers vs optional 36 speakers on Escalade…. I agree, the Escalade is more of our style but I think if I had to choose, I would go Grand Wagoneer over Escalade 👍🏾

The 6.2 is the best gas V8 gm has. Best mileage, best get up, and pretty reliable. We can get 20-21mpg on the highway.
