I wish more black women would embrace their natural hair. I remember when Frozen came out and my sister was saying her hair was ugly (comparing it to Elsa), I was like HELL NO!! Not under my watch. I had to drill the message, that her hair is beautiful as it was and is. She now loves it.
Our hair is beautiful. It’s just been so under represented. There’s been minimal marketing on how to care for African hair, but there’s no excuse now because we can tell our own stories.
This is my little way of contributing as well.. and I’m so happy to know you taught your little sister to love her hair.

This is so beautiful, perfectly executed. Everything you touch just lands right. I’m also interested in how you color graded your studio sitting clip, so you have a tutorial or link? I’m seriously interested in opening a channel but I want the editing/Color grading to be right.

@@Phloshop please my leader, I learned the best 2 lights setup from you and retouching, now I’m tapping into videography I’m getting the lighting but the color grading ey it’s kicking me, I love brown skintones, that’s what I want to achieve, increasing the temperature slide doesn’t help cause it affects everything including white garments, I’m really stuck. But I’ll be patient for another week(silently putting pressure 😅)
