I finished recording this video at 2 am so if it seems rushed, that's why.. I'm sorry y'all 😞However, I love the concept, so I'd love to try it again! I just need more preparation beforehand. By the way, let me know which pokemon you felt best fit as potential starters! Some seemed more qualified than others, but I always like to hear y'alls reasoning for any opinions. Okay that's all I need sleep haha- g'night!!
My head canon as to how this pokémon series is playing out is; (from first to last) - torchick check up - eeveelution adoption - checking knowledge - becoming a gym leader - picking out starters We start out saving a torchick, then inspired by that encounter we decide to adopt an eeveelution to go on our own pokémon adventure with. Then, we have our knowledge tested before becoming a gym leader. Then, because we have the credentials and experience with pokémon as seasoned battlers and gym leaders, we get to help pick out the starters.
I absolutely love the theme of going over all the details of a pokemon in depth and considering how good it would be for a certain role! I could watch you do this for every pokemon
One hundred percent seconding this. I'm one of those people who looooooves using underrated characters (or, in this case, 'mons) and finding ways to make them viable and lovable, so this would be 😚👌
I'm a big fan of themes for pokemon lines, or at least some form of vague consistency, so i'd choose either of these two sets: Set 1: Talonflame, Azumarill, and Jumpluff. I would have loved a grass type that Doesn't start as grass, but as far as I can search, that actually hasn't happened yet... so for the other option Set 2, item evolutions: Chandelure, Kingdra, Vileplume/Bellossom. Kingdra throws a wrench in by not being a stone evo (though, while it's not an option in the video the Poliwrath/Politoed line could work for that slot too!) but basically the theme is.. item evolutions. Teaching the trainer about other evolution methods in different ways. Chandelure is just a normal stone evo, but it's still kinda hard mode because of how long it takes to get Lampent, Kingdra is a lesson in trading (I imagine a theoretical game would do a scripted trade for this, so you don't just up and lose it lol), and Vileplume/Bellossom is a lesson in split evos. If there were a grass type that started as a non grass type and gained the typing later, i'd LOVE the first set, but the second set wins for me because of the potential with the theming and lessons alone. :] Great video btw! I love the vibe in all of them and can't wait to see more. Would love more potential worldbuilding for this theoretical region we're in too, if that's something you're interested in developing
I've just gotta laud your interest in showcasing Pokemon that are not the norm. Hoppip is the only Shiny Pokemon I've ever encountered, back in college whilst replaying Crystal, so it holds a special place in my heart - to hear it's line featured in this? My heart SOARED!
For fire types, I think best option is Magmortar. Talonflame doesn’t work as Fletchling isn’t a fire type. Litwick is cool but I think it makes it too strong especially in the early game as lots of early game Pokémon use normal moves but litwick is a ghost which makes it immune. Therefore, Magmortar is the most suitable. For water types, I think all of them don’t fit. Azurill is similar to Fletchling where it doesn’t have its primary type. Walrein is more of an ice type instead of water type based on its moves. Kingdra is cool but dragon typing is a bit too strong where it doesn’t take super effective moves by grass moves. I suggest Seismitoad coz it fits the criteria much better but if it has to be one of the 3 I prefer Walrein. As for grass type, Victreebel is the best one. Oddish line doesn’t fit as it has a split evolution and I think Jumpluff is a little too weak as a starter Pokémon. So to sum up: Fire - Magmortar Water - Seismitoad/Walrein Grass - Victreebel Edit: Also I would make their evolutions all level up, evolving once at lvl 16 and evolve again at lvl 36
Such a cute concept, i dont get how there arent more asmr pokemon videos like this or maybe theyre just not finding me, but either way im glad these did! Super relaxing and very well made even without the more professional type setup, but maybe the lo-fi feel is what adds to the cosiness of it?
Hey, want you to know… I just found your channel a few days ago and it brought me inspiration to make more pokemon art! That’s a big thing for me, as I’m lacking content to create off of. I really had no clue that I enjoyed content like pokemon asmr so please keep creating and have an amazing day/night!
Grass: Leavanny Fire: Chandelure Water: Seismitoad (I'm a bit Unova biased, as my home region) the choices are unique in the sense of Friendship, Stone, Level in terms of final evo
It's so strange that I've consumed pretty much everything else except Pokemon in my childhood 😭, yet I'm always drawn to these videos even if I understand practically nothing lmao XD, but I enjoy these nonetheless hehe ✨, (also a huge fan of the gym trainer job video as well hehe), keep up the videos Aluna tingly as ever 🪄🪄🪄.
The fire starters did have a problem tho cause fletching is not even fire type until it evolves and litwick is a stone evolution and magmortor is a trade evolution but i like the video tho keep up the good work ❤️
Hello there, I'm a new subscriber who quite enjoys your content, you clearly have an awareness of Pokemon, and have integrated it nicely into your content, which I'm glad to see is taking off very well! Congratulations! I had a video suggestion, I'm unaware if you play it or not, but just looking at your appearance and vibe thus far, I think you'd be able to make a great roleplay of "Maru" from Stardew Valley, its the same kinda character, a professor type character, and I think you'd do great! Only a suggestion, keep up the great work, and best wishes for your channel!
I love your videos, can’t wait for more Pokemon themed content! You’re my favorite ASMR creator! Maybe you could make a video about becoming a champion?
Hi, Ms. Aluna, Vinny aka. Poop Mcpooerson (a subscriber of yours) has quote on quote “put me on” to your channel and, I would like to say, great content. He also told to watch Bbw Rouge The Bat Asmr idk why but great videos!!!☺️
I decided on: Magby- Horsea- Oddish This is because Magby and Horsea have their traded third evolution pokemon so they have a shared gimmick there, but oddish also has a gimmick as it can turn into belossom or vileplume with the use of a stone, which is its own gimmick. This introduces somewhat more complicated things but its all stuff trainers should know and makes them more well rounded as challengers. Hope you like my answers!
i got chu fam, we gonna give them two different sets of starters the first set is the normal one ima choose.. for plant type: rowlet, it has a good type combination and great moves for fire type: a special charizard version that actually has dragon/fire type but it'd be cool looking so fans excuse the fact that its another f*cking charizard. for water type: piplup. SET TWO: for the second starters they'd be a sort of 'powerful' type option A: tyranitar, we need more love for the bootleg godzilla option B: clefairy option C: alolan meowth (oh more then one regional form? that'd break status qu- shut up.) and then for the third starter just give them Type: Null since im biased towards loving my little failed arceus
Tynamo would be a cool water-type starter, it's got a three-stage evolution line, ending in Elektross, which is a water/electric type. 💧⚡ By the way, great video. I found your channel not too long ago and your video's are very relaxing and entertaining! Looking forward for more video's to come 👍🏼💤

you forgor the description
I'd love to see this again, I love this video!
I definitely liked the idea of Litwick the most, a strong starter for a more experienced trainer 🕯️

I love this! It's really cool to see a mini universe already being created from these videos 🥰
Somebody should put that into a playlist!
One of the greatest small channels right now
We love Aluna
Can't agree better

"What is the primary reason for choosing Walreign as a starter."
"Spheal is adorable."
"What's the second reason?"
"Um..... Spheal is adorable."
Ive been looking for good pokemon asmr content for years now. The specificity and details are extremely tingly
Brittany asmr had great pkmn vids but has sadly deleted everything from her channel
The typing on the switch gave me sooo many tingles

Fletchling Azurill and Smoliv for the triple normal type starter trio :>
I have that same x and y book i always loved it sm
So we are getting a New Region breakdown with these starters when? Love the content!
i got chu fam, we gonna give them two different sets of starters
the first set is the normal one
ima choose..
for plant type: rowlet, it has a good type combination and great moves
for fire type: a special charizard version that actually has dragon/fire type but it'd be cool looking so fans excuse the fact that its another f*cking charizard.
for water type: piplup.
SET TWO:
for the second starters they'd be a sort of 'powerful' type
option A: tyranitar, we need more love for the bootleg godzilla
option B: clefairy
option C: alolan meowth (oh more then one regional form? that'd break status qu- shut up.)
and then for the third starter just give them Type: Null since im biased towards loving my little failed arceus
Tynamo would be a cool water-type starter, it's got a three-stage evolution line, ending in Elektross, which is a water/electric type. 💧⚡
By the way, great video. I found your channel not too long ago and your video's are very relaxing and entertaining! Looking forward for more video's to come 👍🏼💤
