I’ve been dealing with this in a way. I do feel convicted but not as much as I use to. You must work to control your thoughts. And repent. You must hate evil as GOD hates evil. This world has worked hard to program us with violence, lust, chasing money and fame. My goal has been to try to keep my thoughts on GOD. But GOD sees the fact you have been trying. Do everything you can to live a life for him. Fully commit yourself. I will pray for you though.
Me too.. I am so ashamed… I struggle with several different mental illnesses as well as alcoholism…. For me the evil thoughts towards others who I feel have wronged me… the rage I have acted on towards others… I keep trying to heal that area of self hatred… not letting go the trauma from my past… being bitter.. I truly believe.. I truly feel convicted yet I know I’ve quenched the Holy Spirit over and over… starting tonight i will start praying and reading my word again daily! If I want change I must seek his face constantly… I’m overwhelmed I’m fearful I’m shocked at how fast I broke my strict habit of being prayerful and reading and listening to the word… all my sins came back full force… I just ask for prayer please pretty please anyone who is willing… I can’t believe o stopped following him and turned my back this last time I thought I was finally gonna break through the heavens with my prayers and get delivered and baptized with the Holy Spirit… I’m drowning… I pray Yeshua has Mercy on my filthy soul… 😭

The Bible tells us to rejoice in OUR OWN sufferings when we suffer for Christ's sake. Paul reiterates this point several times in the new testament. We should have pity on those who endure suffering for their evil doings.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to never stop praying. Don’t hesitate to pray and talk to God, He already knows what you need and what you will say, so pray with a humble and thankful heart. Ephesians 3:12 says that we can come boldly to the throne because of Jesus and our faith in Him. The enemy is going to try and lie to you and tell you things that will promote you to stop praying. Don’t listen, take that thought captive and rebuke it in the Name of Jesus. There are so many scriptures in the bible that promote prayer with God and fellowship with God in general. All of them are proof that He wants to hear from you. Remember that God demonstrated His love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 4:8). Keep going and keep pursuing Him. Keep reading your bible and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what God wants to say to you. He loves you deeply, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39).
Beloved Jesus loves you. Don’t be hesitant to pray to Him. If you are feeling bad about it, take it to the LORD our God, our creator, our heavenly father. It doesn’t need to be big fancy words like Jesus states in The Beatitudes. It just has to come from your heart. God will never abandon you, He stays in the same position the whole time, it’s us as humans that draw away and listen to the Devil. Let your heart out to God and speak to Him. When we read and believe the Gospel truths in the Bible, it will affect how we live. And depend on the Holy Spirit. If you are truly born again, you have received the Holy Spirit. He is our helper, our guide. He convicts you of sin, and gives you the power and strength over temptations. He also gives you the desire to pray, and read the word. Jesus called us to abide in Him. The essence of abiding is talking to Him-communing with Him and having fellowship with Him. Reading the Bible is how you learn who God is. When we read and believe the Gospel truths in the Bible, it will affect how we live. And depend on the Holy Spirit. If you are truly born again, you have received the Holy Spirit. He is our helper, our guide. He convicts you of sin, and gives you the power and strength over temptations. He also gives you the desire to pray, and read the word. Concentrate on getting to know Him personally, and all else will follow. Be blessed

I think that needed for you put that out there , a lot of people do not know things in the Bible. I was lucky… my Dad was a minister of the Lord. I’ve heard him say this very thing “don’t be happy about that” if it was the Lords Will, then it is done but you yourself pray for them. So another lesson learned. Miss you Pop…RIP❣️

I've never been the type to wish ill upon my enemies. Well sometimes I have but in my core I simply wish for them to learn that they are leading a path of hate and bigotry and that I am not their enemy and never will be because they are my blood as I am theirs 😌
