KEEPING THEIR STORIES ALIVE APPEAL

There are 107 Commonwealth War and Service Graves at Scampton Church.
This project is meant for school children and aims to educate that generation about the meaning of remembrance. It tells the personal stories of those buried here in the first person.
In partnership with Heritage Lincolnshire, schools packs have been developed to link with the national curriculum. Interactive digital screens have been installed to assist visiting children to learn of those personal stories.In partnership with Heritage Lincolnshire and The Commonwealth War Graves Commission , we have developed lesson plans and materials which link to the national curriculum.
