Hello from San Diego, CA! I have a question: At costco, the prices are always the same if you buy them individually or in a box (by the pound), then why won't you buy the ones with the plastic wrapped around it with no claws?
SD! Hi Great question. Those are cooked and ready. They were thawed out 1 time and cooked and wrapped. Must be eaten within 5-7 days maximum. I don’t want to re freeze then and then re cook, they will come out tasting bad and will shrink a bit too. Also there actually not as big as the boxes. Check out my new video, I actually got a awesome box ! th-cam.com/video/Xxy6633NhM4/w-d-xo.html
@@FadiSetGo Thanks for the response! Loving the king crab unboxings, I used to get them for a great deal years ago for like $180~$200, but recently the price has skyrocketed to like $400! Its nuts!!
Prices are definitely up. Government is telling us 7% inflation year to year, but going from $250 to $380 is no joke. $130 increase from $250 is more than 50% price hike. I am in the OC area, local market items that used to cost $3.99 are now $4.99. That’s a 25% increase. We are all getting fool’s tale from the Govt. Power to you Fadi for living da viva de loca. WORD!
I bought it December 23, 2021 The sale date is generally 60 days after costco got it, which is February 21st 2022 . Also, this was packaged three days before I received it so basically after a couple of days from it being sent over on boat to airplane, I got it three days later.
I am not a knuckle guy, little too bland for me. I usually go down to my local Ralphs and ask the butcher to fish out all the popeyes claws. I enjoy the stronger flavor and chewy meat in the giant claws. Man, if we were neighbors then we would strike gold. Now that is a trade pact I can live with.
I love the claws whew nice box
Sometimes Costco has a bag of just claws but there Dungeness claws. But I also says see them at the Costco business vs the regular Costco

I purchased a case from Costco in the past, but it was very salty. How was your experience?
There actually a lot better. I had a box or 2 a while back that were like that. It’s changed now. Consistency is really good.
Count me in for 500th subs.

@@hankc3447 Thank You so much. I can’t believe I’m at 500
Last year I had 4 subscribers. SIGH. Many Thanks 🙏
I got the same box! Yay!
How much do you think I should cook for 4 adults?
Most adults eat 2 legs each. So 8 should ever perfect 👌🏼
@@FadiSetGo sounds perfect! Thank you so much!
