I really like the small things like the holder for the pins on the backhoe. Things like that and other well thought out small details is one thing that really stands out to me when looking for products. Thanks for all the great videos. They are one of the reasons why we bought a 4707.

Nice set-up. Totally off subject: I just wanted to thank you for sending me the video about changing my speedometer from kph to mph two weeks ago. I finally got around to doing it last weekend and it worked like a charm! I just followed the steps in the video and they were 100% accurate! I can't thank you enough. I know it really didn't matter which way it read, but for me for some reason, it bothered me. Now I love my 1742M just a little bit more. Thanks again!

I really like the options he ordered with that one. I would have to get the Hydro model, but the CB-85 is a beast.
He did some cool things. That's on of the cool things with the 2800E series is they offer both SynchroShuttle and Hydrostat Transmission to fit the needs of what works best for you.
What's the ball park price on a unit like that?
Around $50,000 with all the Accessories he added.
Wow, my 3222 hoe has a much easier locking system. No pins to fuss with...easy. I'm looking at this tractor, but the hoe might be a deal breaker. This is a nice vid, but it would be really helpful to see it in actual action...you know, like digging out a 12" tree stump.
The BH.3222 does have a different lockup system than the CB Series Models. CB Models are more deluxe models than the BH Series. Plus the CB85 Digs Deeper (8.5' Deep). I don't think our customers buying the backhoes would like us digging with them when they are buying new machines plus we have no were on our Gravel and Hard Surface lot to dig at our dealership. Maybe some day we can get in the field with one of our customers and get them in action doing work .

You can add a 3 Pooint Style Backhoe on the 4700 Series. Massey Ferguson does not offer one but there are 3rd Party Manufacturers you can get them from.

I have this same model tractor, loader and backhoe. I had 3 rear remotes added by the dealer (1 came on it, dealer added 2). My problem is, the dealer didn't add the power beyond circuit, and connected the BH to remote #1 and had a rubber bungee cord holding the lever open to provide hyd power to the BH. This is after it took them 3 attempts to install the 3 rear remotes. Needless to say I have lost confidence in them, as they keep my tractor for nearly a month each time they pick it up, and then can't configure dealer options correctly.
Can you please send me a diagram/schematic and pictures of the power beyond circuit and how it is plumbed into the tractor to power both the FLX2815 and CB85? I would be happy to purchase the hoses and fittings from you as well, or if you have a parts list...
I bought the service manual, but it didn't really help with tbis particular subject.
My BH is currently detatched and I have alot of projects I need it for.

Price Book states CB85 Backhoe not compatible with 3 sets for Rear Remotes. Plus been looking for Hydraulics Diagram that comes with Backhoe and we must have given to the customers when we install backhoe. That is what we normally do so I do not have schematics to share for how the power beyond connection works. But it's not compatible with 3 sets of rear remotes so dealer did a custom install to us rear remotes to power the backhoe.

Update: my dealer was able to add the PB circuit, even with the 3 rear remotes, just had to move the PB quick connects down a bit lower for clearance issues.

What backhoe fits a mf 1533
The 1533 with 1525 or DL120 Loader used the 1575 or CB15 Backhoe. Unfortunately that manufacturer is no longer in business so you would need to find preowned to mount on the 1533.

I would like to see just once; a Massey-ferguson back-hoe demonstration where it was being used to DIG at least some soft dirt from your facility's. If my dealership sliced of a measly 200.oo$ to demonstrate to others ,l wouldn't mind it one bit. Because it would be SO helpfull to other prospective customers. The demonstration would be SO cool if it was a camerman & operator demo-vidio. Just saying what others are thinking. I would never " p__p" my tractor (have two Massey-Ferguson's & a kubogy) although they have all been slightly "Customized ".
2 Problems with Actual Digging. 1) This Tractor and backhoe Combination was sold to a customer. 2) Once you use it turns into a demo used product and everyone wants a discounted price 3) Our Lot does not have place to dig and especially with all the underground utilities, pipes etc here. Plus there are lots of other videos from customers who are the true users of the equipment that show Massey Ferguson Backhoes in use. Here are a few of them:

Took the suggestion on the 3 vidios Mr. Doug. #1 boom-float -a 3 minute 9 year old bomb, #2 a 8 year old playing in the mud with a cb75 = very impractical. #3 a little gc65 comparing how much better than a hand shovel. Guess I"'ll just have to save 10,000$ and slap a back-hoe attachment on my M-F 1636 to really find out, or cruise on over to various dealerships to find out how a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 foot unit really works. All ready have a 9 1/2 foot rig.

1) Boom Float is one of the Great Features you get with Massey Ferguson Backhoes from the Smallest CB65(BH2720) to the Largest CB85. A Feature most commonly found on commercial backhoes not ag backhoes. 2) People use Backhoes to solve drainage issues. 3) Before you discredit the CB65(BH2720) Backhoe you ought to see where and how these small backhoes are being used. Similar to the difference between construction excavators and miniexcavators. Talk to other owners that is the best source for information.
