After 40 years of dyeing my hair, I'm finally embracing the grey. I stripped the remaining dye from my hair, toned it, and am so happy with the result! I feel free from societal pressure, and am just embracing my true self ❤️

You are so right! I am at 8 months on the journey and I feel so free. I was hiding my hair for a few months at work, and then I got a hair cut above my shoulders and said no more hiding. I just owned it and the positive comments I've gotten are so surprising, a young man said "your hair looks cool - you look like Rouge from Marvel". Thank you for your video - you are beautiful.

Such powerful words. I just started my journey and chose to cut most of my hair off in a pixie. It wasn’t the original plan but I am so glad my stylist convinced me to not try to strip it. And you are right, it’s freedom. I feel renewed, I feel genuine. I feel liberated.

My first dye I needed at 18, my hair was a very dark brown, during lockdown for covid I decided its now or never, I have 💯 white, still learning daily how to manage my hair, I live in a very warm Peninsula and I struggle to keep yellow way, one thing I have learned white hair needs to be extremely clean and shinny ,so detox daily Shampoo , only use transparent or white products , and no to wax, mouse, or any kind of sprays. I share account with my husband.
I’m ten weeks in. It looks so ugly right now, lol. But feels good not to color, pay for color, sit in a stylist chair for 90 minutes nor travel to and from worrying about every three weeks root grow out. I’m happy to be done with that. I hope mine is as nice as yours - so far I’m happy with it.

Yes, I took the cold turkey approach! I am loving the slow growth process as it also brings immense personal growth. You can only ditch the die if you have a beautiful face. If you already look old bc of illness or genetics or too much sun or whatever then grey hair will add years to your look. All these women coming out growing grey hair … look at them , they still young looking they can afford that grey. Botox and jobs done to the face help to compensate the grey .But if you look like 65 already forget about grey .

I'm trying to do this for the third time I'm 67 brunette with red highlights in it naturally. And I was dying the mostly the front of my hair that was had turned silver for the last about 20 years. But I'm done thank you for this it made my day. 🤍
