    Vinyl and waterproof canvas were both purchased at www.fabricwholesaledirect.com
    Hardware was purchase from www.moremeknow.com and Amazon and Etsy.
    The decovil light that I used on the bottom panel was purchased from www.gotinterfacing.com
    Zipper tape and pulls were purchased from My Handmade Space on Etsy.
    My machine is a Juki du 1181n
    I found the mustang emblem on a google search.
    Double sided leather tape was purchased from www.wawak.com
    Thread is a T90 thread and I purchased it from Sunny Sewing Machines

    I've never seen you before, somehow your videos have never popped up into my feed until today. I don't particularly care for that style of bag, but I must say you have done a fantastic job on it. It is really really really good! But the best part of the video is the conversation you are having with the camera. You are very funny and I have been watching your video now for almost an hour just to listen to what you're saying. You're hilarious! It's wonderful that you really enjoy what you're doing too. Keep creating! People love your work!

      Thank you. It’s not nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be. I’m not sure why I waited so long to try it lol. I think you will love it. Take your time and use some cheaper fabric for you first one if you have some. Have fun!

      @@renpuffinberger6664 Thanks for the encouragement. I have some very pretty cork and vinyl for this bag, but I'm going to take your advise and do it first in something a little cheaper.

I guess that’s just who I am. 🤷🏽‍♀️. Oh man, I’ve wanted a Mustang since I seen my Aunts back when I was 8 years old. I just loved it, even tho I was very young. Hard work and money saving/planning and a budget and finally!! I love her! I was the same. I wanted one and it had to be red!! Lol Thank you for the kind words!

    Love the overlay, and your little technique of reverse stitching the side with the strap connectors is a very good idea to avoid damaging the vinyl. Seems such a quicker and a clever idea than covering the back around the walking foot around the hardware.

    • @renpuffinberger6664
      @renpuffinberger6664  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I’m not sure what made me think to do the reverse stitches when sewing the strap connectors on but this is a pretty neat way to do it without scuffing my vinyl on my walking foot. It’s better than keeping a scrap piece of vinyl laying around (that I tend to misplace all the time 🙄😂)

    My machine was jerky like that and real fast I ordered a family motor from Steve's sewing gold machines and now I can go really slow and it's very smooth I had a digital motor and that's what was causing it

    I think I’m going to make this after watching you. I can’t believe this is your first time with this bag. Is there a way to add cross body strap without handles? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this. It looks like the one side of the cross body strap would be impeded by the zipper?

    • @renpuffinberger6664
      @renpuffinberger6664  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did put the cross body strap connectors on this bag. I just didn’t add the strap. You could easily just omit the handle strap connectors and handles. My zipper is fairly long but I don’t think it would be that big of a deal with the cross body strap on the side. The zipper would just fall to one side or the other.

    • @renpuffinberger6664
      @renpuffinberger6664  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not home at the moment and can not check. Normally I cut mine at 2 x 4 but I may have cut these smaller. Or according to the pattern. I’ll have to check when I get home.

    • @renpuffinberger6664
      @renpuffinberger6664  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I used Decovil heavy on the bottom stabilizer and headliner (to replace the foam interfacing) on the exterior parts of the bag. That’s it. I didn’t use any cotton fabric. It was all vinyl and waterproof canvas so I didn’t need to interface anything else.

      I see that you sewed around the edge of the main panel. What did you sew together? Interfacing?

    • @renpuffinberger6664
      @renpuffinberger6664  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I sewed the main exterior panel to the headliner. Yes the pattern calls for foam interfacing and I used the headliner instead
