I'm just spitballing here but, is it possible that they had built stick platforms up all around those rocks that have long since disappeared? Not likely, I just thought that that was the only way they could use those things in somewhat of a comfortable position.
@@cargotrailerkenny4481 These Holes Are A Mystery. I Understand The Ones In The Hround Might Be Used For Grinding Beans, Bt The Ones Up On Top Of The Big Boulders Make No Sence. Ther Are Lot Of Other Big Flat Rocks On The Ground In That Area, So Why Do Them Up On Top Of Those Big Boulders?
@@Iseekoutthetruth I agree, it makes no sense. at the end of the day I don't have a problem excepting the mysteries of our world. In fact I think its a good thing to humble oneself and recognize there is much about our existence that we simply never will know..
Ancient Finns used to sacrifice food to gods, dead relatives, elfs, trolls etc. in kind of similiar "cup stones" between neolithic period and iron age. They also believed that the rainwater trapped in the cup had magical properties. The cups in Finland are kinda similiar but not as deep as these cups in your video. In my understanding cup stones are not just scandinavian thing, but im not sure.
Maybe it’s a community grindstone
@@HamletsMill1969 Maybe.
