How does a scammer actually pull off the scam if they talk to people with such a vicious attitude? They act like “FUCK YOU FOR MAKING ME HAVE TO TRY TO ROB YOU!” It’s nuts.
They target the elderly, some might have decreased cognitive functions because of dementia, alzheimers, or even medications they are on.
It is a scummy thing to do.
There are various things on video that show when someone gets angry and super pushy, a lot of people just kind of shut down and do whatever is necessary to appease the person and get them to go away.
They are trying to take advantage of someone's agreeable nature.
they mainly use panic and the whole get done or big trouble kinda thing
@@veryberry39 No, that only has to do with authority like police. Most people with a normal cognitive function will get pissed off and hang up. But that works to their advantage because they prey on people who are sick and don't understand what is going on in the first place.
Anyone who is alert enough to recognize that a "computer technician" talking to them this way is unusual, won't fall for the scam in the first place so it's better if they just hang up so the scammer can move on to someone else.
