    Great Knot...This is one of the few knots of yours I figured out before you Finished showing it...
    Someone showed me a knot they called a Chinese Tripod lash that was close to this idea...
    I have to find my notes on it and see how Similar it is..

      I have not heard of the Chinese tripod lash. There is a very similar knot in Chinese knotting that I know as the creeper knot.

    Nice knot. I'll have use of it. BTW not to be the pronunciation police but the lis in Fleur de lis is pronounced like lee with no s.

      Actually not exactly...
      First it has to be written Fleur de Lys and then, his pronunciation of Lys was quite good : you have to pronounce the "s" at the end.

      I'm going to go out on limb and guess you are French Canadian. Having been born in Montreal oh so long ago, I recall the pronunciation having the s sound at the end. France french does not pronounce the s and perhaps that is the distinction. Time to move on. Thanks for the videos.

      Michael Pearson, thank you! His pronunciation bothered me instantly! I live in Louisiana and we pronounce it as you typed it
