Thanks again for all the insight Marco. I just bought 5 but l still have 4. I was surprised how much better the 5 sounds. I had to turn off the ce-1 in my brian may amplitude completely. I agree with you totally on it not sounding very good on the presets. You have again inspired me to start playing my guild "green" special.

Excellent Tutorial. I'm not a guitarist but I have used the old AmpliTube which was on the iphone a few years ago. The sounds you created are really good.
I have the Digitech Brian May Effects Pedal which creates some of these but the new AmpliTube 5 software looks so flexible.

How does amplitube work ?, I want to buy the set with amplitube 5 and the AXE I/O. But do I get a code for amplitube 5 in the box or how does it work. And if I buy it, can I transfer it somehow to another PC, for example switching from windows to Mac ?.

Question: with me, even after I feel I’ve “mastered” someone’s playing, I still listen to them and am floored by how natural it sounds to them... so, how often do you listen to Brian, and how often do you listen to Brian’s influences, I.e. Rory Gallagher, Hank Marvin, Etc...

2 questions:
I have AT5 Max + a RedSpecial myself, but have problems to find correct RedSpecial-settings for different Queen-Songs. Do you have pictures of the RedSpecial-switches for the Queen-Songs as you are using it which you could share?
2nd Question
In the „standard-BM-pesets“ in AT there is the tremolo active in a few presets so the sounds don‘t sound good „from the scratch“ - do you keep the tremolo active and just reduce the amount of the effect?

1) No, I'm sorry I don't have any list...maybe check my "one takes" to spot each PU settings.
2) IIRC this is a "bug" of the software...switch it to the chorus effect

I think it'd be useless...using two simulators (of the same things) at the same time...
I have to say AmpliTube it's on another level in terms of quality, dynamics and feel.
hello Marco first of all i have to say that your preset is amazing and i really love your one take videos , and also i have a little question, i've been using your preset for a while now and i have really loud hm (also for reference i borrow an audio interface from my teacher so its really old i think from 2006 - 2009 ) and i checked the same preset from my dad studio and he have a apollo audio interface and there he does not have that very loud hmm , do you think its that the very old interface is the problem , thanks in advance
Some hiss is normal because of the Treble Booster.
But yes, a good audio interface is the key.

@@simonavecchiarelli7875 Se è eccessivamente alto, probabilmente dovrai abbassare il gain dalla tua interfaccia.
Se senti un fruscio di fondo che sparisce quando suoni è normale, è la caratteristica del Treble Booster.

My poor English is causing me to miss some things that could be useful in using my Amplitube.
But your quality of presentation allows me to understand the base anyway lol.
Do you have a setting to have the Live Killers sound and mic setting for i'm in love with my car (the version on this album is the best for me)?
Can we also find the different trebble booster which was used by Brian on the net to add them to the software and is it possible to make the direct connection R.S- treble booster-focusrite?

Oh, glad about that!
For Live Killers you can use my usual preset, turn off the chorus and activate the Phaser when it's needed.
You can move the mics a bit towards the edge of the cones to smoothen the sound a bit.
You can use a TB in front of your audio interface, at least on mine there's no problem.

Hi Marco, I have the amplitube 5 and I connect it with a windows leptop i7, 16gb ram through an irig 2hd but still I have a bit of latency when playing certain presets from Brian may collection. Do you think that the problem is the irig., the leptop? Or there is any special configuration on the amplitube I should use?. Maybe you could do a video about it... 😊

@@MarcoGDiMarco sì, la settimana scorsa il negozio di fiducia che me l'ha ordinata (di Modena... e conoscono benissimo quelli dell'IK Multimedia essendo di Modena anche loro) gli hanno detto che hanno problemi di produzione per mancanza di materie prime, quindi sono in forte ritardo, anzi, gli avevano detto che se avevano una AXE in negozio di darmela che il bundle me lo giravano su quella, ma purtroppo non ne avevano più in negozio.

Hey, I have a question about amplitube. How do you make it so that different effects turn on and off or even change presets automatically while recording? I tried doing it for a cover I made yesterday but I couldn’t get it to work in my DAW so in the end I had to play with one sound and change it later in post

Due domande: passando da HX stomp ad amplitube, al netto del rig usato, a volte noto come se è costantemente acceso un noise gate e quindi una sensazione di ritardo...la prova che faccio è quella di sfiorare davvero in modo leggerissimo con il polpastrello le corde e vedere se ne esce il relativo rumorino dalle casse (con un noise gate attivato no, proprio per la funzione del noise gate), con amplitube mi sembra di perdere questa interazione che poi si ripercuote nella sensazione finale di differenza rispetto ad un ampli vero; come bisogna settare il mac-scheda audio - amplitube in modo ottimale? Altra domanda: il preset su facebook è lo stesso caricato su Tonex da cui si accede da Amt5 ma? Grazie
Il preset è lo stesso.
Noise gate in AmpliTube c’è solo se lo attivi tramite pedale.
Non so se la tua interfaccia audio ne ha uno integrato.
Se senti ritardo invece devi abbassare il bitrate di campionamento poiché il tuo computer non ce la fa a starti dietro.

Eu ligo exatamente do mesmo no meu notebook, mas fica um "atraso" (delay) terrível, além de um chiado horrivel nos sons do Amplitube 5 com distorção/overdrive.

A me è arrivato direttamente dalla IK.
Per gli aggiornamenti non penso faccia differenza.
Me pasa lo mismo que a ti con el Boss CE-1, no me gusta su sonido en AmpliTube y realmente no suena nada bien con los presets predeterminados, no debieron cambiar la idea de seguir usando el “Analog Chorus" o mantener la idea de que el chorus fuera parte del amp como el armonizador

One thing though, does the audio interface have a big difference in terms of how the preset sounds? I use the iRig HD 2 and I’m not quite capturing the same sound as you in the one take videos and this review.
The only thing I can think of is the audio interface or the pickups. I have the BMG stock pickups.
There are so many factor...the guitar, the audio interface, the touch...
First of all: is the gain of your iRig setted correctly?
Hit a chord (hard) and set the gain until you can see the red light just flashing a bit.

Hey Marco, I have a question about amplitube. I don’t understand how or wich amplitube 5 version I have to buy, there a 3 versions.I obviously only want the Brian may preset.
So buy the BM pack.
Keep in mind that I used many other effects and mics which are included in the MAX version, so if you download my preset you'll probably have to modify it.

Io ho AmpliTube MAX, che è la versione completa.
Le parti mancanti potete sopperirle con qualcosa di simile oppure acquistare quello che vi manca.

What kind of pickup have you got on your guitar?
@@MarcoGDiMarco, I have a 🅱️ASS guitar, (a PJ Bass), with the P pickup being a humbucker, and a J being a single coil.
Edit: I now have a humbucker guitar, the Jackson JS12.

Does any one know how to make these harmonies from the scecond solo from the show must go on live in O2 London 2018 with Amplitube 4 Brian May ? And how do i get Amplitube 5 Brian May Stuff. Because i saw a video where some dude said you dont have to pay for it again but i dont think thats true
I know how.
You play a high pitch B note bend.
Then, there is a harmony line a fourth below that, and a higher one that is a 3rd above the main line.
The lower harmony line changes from a fourth to a third, changing the whole harmony section into a major chord.
