Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. My name is Sumbul and I am a Psychology Graduate from The University of Edinburgh. Almost a year ago, I arrived in Edinburgh for the very first time. I was filled with mixed emotions. I was excited but anxious as well. It is okay to feel anxious especially if you are travelling for the first time to a foreign country to pursue your higher education. There can be confusions regarding “WHAT TO DO AFTER TAKING AN EXIT FROM THE AIRPORT”. In this video, I have explained everything in great detail based on my personal experience.
There are two things that are important after taking an exit from the airport:
1. A SIM Card
2. Transportation
I already had a LEBARA SIM card which was quite useful for me. But you can buy one from Edinburgh Airport also. Or even get an international roaming done on your existing India SIM card for a few days and then buy one UK SIM card later on.
For transportation, usually there are 3 options- Local Cabs, Uber Cabs and Public Transportation. I personally used local cabs as they were convenient and accepted cash.
