Oh my lord, thank you. I have had a brutal 2 days, and I was literally sitting in my basement trying to decompress from a terrible morning, and then this. Man, thank you. I will get into the substance of it after a nap, but thank you.

I'm so glad that you compared it to the G-Shock. G-Shocks are very good but this model of Timex has exactly what I like. 3 alarms, count down timer and Chrono. The alarm is loud enough to be annoying. I can't find a Casio that compares to this one. Thanks for the review.

I can see the appeal of this watch, especially the large buttons and clear screen. It is function over form but there is nothing wrong with that, You and Dino love them and that's all that matters. Thanks for watching!

I got my Ironman as a gift 12+ years ago and wear it constantly, even in the shower. I've done a few battery changes but other than that it works and looks good. I'm not a watch guy, I just want something that tells time and has a chrono and timer. I was turned off by casio years ago when the bands kept cracking. Admittedly, the casios weren't g-shock, but I'm not taking a chance with them. My Ironman doesn't have that problem so I'm going to get another one if/when this breaks.

That has lasted really well then. There is definitely a 'cult' following for the Ironman, I was impressed with is functionality but not so much the design. Thanks for watching!

G Shocks are chunky in comparision, these are definitely designed for the athletes amongst us...thats not me by the way! Thanks for watching!

So just to make a substantive comment, since I feel like I pushed you into this one. I have preferred the Ironman to everything I have ever owned in the G Shock line up. I absolutely understand how awesome the G Shock is, but this is a personal value statement. For me, my history is connected to Timex, so that is a whole other thing. But, the other part of this is some things that I simply like more. One, the buttons one the timex ironman line is simply better than anything I have owned from Casio. I mean, the buttons on things like the square, or the casioak, those are terrible. And from what I can tell, people on forums simply know and acknowledge they are terrible. Now, I own and wear a solar casioak and solar square, so I am keeping the madness going. But, simply put, the buttons on every Timex Ironman are functionally designed, and absolutely work as they should. Secondly, Indiglo. Aside from the Kindle, Indiglo might be the best technological advance in my 52 years. I went from high school and college swim team, to a life on the road in vans and tour busses, so Indiglo was the absolute best thing. There is not a watch lume system that is better. Now almost all of this is subjective. I pushed for this review because non talks about Timex products, and I think not all Timex makes is bad. Personally, for me, the Citizen Promaster Diver is the ONE WATCH for my life. But, none of us have one watch.

Hey Dino, you didn't push you eased me in the right direction. The review will be out soon and I think I cover a lot of what you have said. I haven't done a G Shock review yet (odd as I have bought 2) but I agree on the buttons in particular. I have big hands and fingers and pressing the tiny buttons is not easy, especially in the dark. Indiglo is brilliant, no one has anything that touches it. I do think TIMEX are going int he right direction in recent years, some of their recent releases are much more on point and they also have the heritage to lean into too. Thanks for watching as ever!

@@BudgetWatchReviews For me, the solar square I got this spring is obviousl sort of wonderful. But, the buttons are terrible. The Casioak is super great, but terrible buttons. I imagine as I go up in price, I can find buttons that I like more. But, just on the functionality, the buttons clearly win. I avoid the negative display as well, so I think Timex keeps the positive one out front. I was going to buy a Nixon Regulus, but no positive display. I am stoked to see the in depth interview. If you want, I can send the T200 over for checking out.

Compared to some CASIO's it is a bit pricey, more the CASIO's as just so cheap. I think anyone on here will happy spend that money on watch. Gazzer you have spent thousands on your collection by the sounds! Thanks for watching as ever!
