      @@osinhasan4039 The Super Salafi's are butt hurt by anyone who promotes the real Islam. The real joke is they claim to follow the Salaf but reject Fiqh and revere someone like Ibn Taymiyya who didn't even agree with their position.

      Because of their ego and jealousy. I love this man. He’s a true Shaykh. He mentioned something about police brutality and discrimination amongst black people that he was highly criticized for. All he said was that many white people that other people are unaware of go through the same thing. He was talking about people who aren’t black go through the same not only in this country but all over the world, especially in Islamic countries so I def agree with him. Many people misunderstood that.

      There is no "the prayer" in Islam. In fact, Salah means "duty" not prayer. If you go through the entire Quran and find every instance of the S-L-W root you will see that the value of prayer doesn't fit and the translators of the Quran have to make up definitions for the word that it never had before. For example in the Quran 22:40 Allah mentions "Salawat". But in every traditional translation it says "Salawat" means Jewish synagogue. This is just evidence of how the traditional Muslims have been misleading the masses of believers with false definitions so they can keep their monopoly on the "religion of Islam".

      Jack Brown he is very learned, but as of late he has become a perennialist, he includes all sects as being Muslim including ahmadyah which all Sunnis agree that if someone claims prophethood after Prophet Muhammad is not a Muslim, he has succumbed to political correctness on some major issues in aqeeda

      @kenneth3617160 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Didn't the Prophet (SAW) say absolutely not to split the ummah into sects? And to identify ourselves as non other than muslims? By accepting anyone as a muslim who says la illaha ilallah, we unite a badly fragmented ummah. It is for Allah to judge if someone is a muslim, not us. Islam has always been great because it has been easy to get into and hard to get kicked out of. May Allah make it easy for us to uphold this tenet of our great religion. And Allah knows best.

    SubhanAllah beautiful insight. I'm quite fascinated by symbolism and imagery especially in the Quran and Islamic tradition. Love the insights about the sun rise and sunset and the shadow. The movement of the Sun in the sky is symbolic of life; rising from the east is life and the setting is symbolic of the imminent death we all face. Interesting cause this got me thinking of the sun rising from the west on _Yawm al-Qiyamah_ . Sunset is symbolic of death and so when the _sun rises_ from the West, that is a complete reversal, and death of everything and interestingly is symbolic of death and _beginning_ of a completely different "life" -- _Akhira_ .

    Question on 30.29. Where women prohibited to go to mosque? It is widespread ing now in former Soviet Union. Specially men from Kavkaz region of Russia do it a lot. Literally standing on paths to the mosque and saying that women are not allowed to come. Came to this occasion a few times in mosques in Moscow and Saint Petersburg’s. Also in Kyrgyzstan many mosques don’t have female side, or it is locked for some reason. And on the main entrance there are men standing and not allowing women to enter what they think “man only zone”. While in neighbouring Kazakhstan, in Turkestan precisely, then we asked in mosque where is female entrance, the man looked at us in disbelief and said there is no female entrance at all, come and pray everywhere. When asked are we allowed to pray together with men, he lead the pray. And after showed the madrasa rooms to us. He looked at us as we were uneducated and extremely oppressed poor women for even asking such things.

      Reul McGillolane Certainly what he said about Razi is important, but it's equally important to know when he lived because it will help one contextualize his work with his contemporaries. Not to mention the domino effect this one mistake can have on listeners who might be strolling by to learn more about Razi for a school assignment or such just to be smacked with an F when they get their papers back because they placed him three centuries before his time. Thankfully that's all been resolved.

      A marriage contract is a contract. Both parties can make stipulations. The daughter of the Prophet SAW was the only wife of Ali RA while she RA was alive. It is permissible as long as the wife is not against it. Anything that harms the other party in a marriage can be stipulated against.

Bukhari explained in detail on Isra Mikraj Prohet Muhammad ascend to 7 heaven to collect "ritual salah" from Allah however not even a single Hadith explicitly explained on how to perform prayer from A-Z.. The question is WHY?? The muslim ummah must realized that the ritual prayer we performed today was derived from our forefathers..to be precise we "follow blindly" the action of our forefathers..

So to distrust that would really be to distrust the Quran itself. But Islam is he last religion to last mankind till the end, by it's nature, will be perserved.

    Why would any God be interested in an obligation in prayer. If I would be a God, I would think: There they are again.... but they are not sincere. They just do this because I enforced it. Especially since the Quran tells us clearly that there can not be any obligation in religion.
    I know prayer at least 5 times a day is one of the pillars of Islam and is therefore part of the submission. But it is clearly in contradiction. It shows again that religions are man made.

      In regards to that matter,
      (God being interested in the obligatory prayers of the believer, wether they are sincere or not)
      The main reason is unknown and probably a type of an ilmu'l Ghayb (unseen knowledge or reason).
      There are certain things that the human mind cannot be able to fathom or comprehend, and more importantly the 5 daily obligatory prayer is the enactment of a muslim's submission and faith, both if he is sincere or not.

      "If i would be a God...." Is already where you made a mistake. You're arguing with the presumption that God must think similair to you, and subsequently its impossible for you to worship a deity that you've subconsciously made human (anthropomorphism).
      Knowing this its impossible to assume what the intention of God might have been, but i have heard arguments that Salat (prayer) serves as the synchronization of body and tongue. Submission to God is not a matter of just the tongue, its a matter of the totality of your body. This is the idea I think, but don't quote me on that yet, i"ll try to find a reference for it.
      Me personally, i used to have a hard time praying. I was doing things that God had made impermissible and it had a profound psychological impact on me, but most importantly while i may have believed in God i did not **submit** to him. The moment I started praying again, I felt like I was reborn. I suddenly stopped doing disastrous habits that i had been doing since my childhood, and i had gained a renewed confidence. Prayer for me is an affirmation of acknowledging God is in total control, and that by submitting to him and following His laws you are doing whats best for yourself.

    • @roerdomp16e
      @roerdomp16e ปีที่แล้ว

      @Zaina Abraham Hi Zaina, thanks for your response. The argument: "it is good for you" is of course fine with me for anyone to pray. But I could also do any other form of meditation, or pray to any other God, or contemplate my and our lives listening to beautiful music.
      My point is that the obligation is in contradiction with the essence of being religious. It is a choice and should be meaningful and not an obligation.
      I just do not see the point at all in any prayer, which is done because you MUST do it. . And I really do not understand a God, whichever God, who feels the constant need of confirmation, submission and people who pray to him 5 times a day because they have to.
      I psychiatric terms we would "personality" attention disorder.

    • @roerdomp16e
      @roerdomp16e ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sonnythebigbearliston8442 Thanks for your response Sonny. I did not claim I was equal to any God. Your argument is more or less the same as Christians when there are things you can not explain: "God acts in mysterious ways".
      And of course I understand that prayer, just like meditation or listening to Bach maybe good for you mind. But there is nothing Islamic about that. People have prayed to thousands of Gods, and found peace in them, although no one has ever responded.
      Of course it is great you find happiness in your religion. That is fine with me.
      The problem I have with any religion is when they make the belief in their God(s) compulsory or act on their believes politically and force their believes on others or discriminate against other religions, non-believers, or against the "wrong kind" of Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu or any other religion.
      To me, they are all wrong in the same way. They are man made.

Is Islam not the entire Quran? I believe the teaching of Islam with 5 Pilars is a corruption to encourage people not to study, understand & follow the Quran. If it is not a corruption, then there should be a verse at least saying it as such. But I have not read such a verse. It is a corruption to mislead people from the TRUTH.

      Shahbaz Haider Thank you for that perspective. I've started to read the Quran, to get a better understanding of the thing. It is very hard reading. God is one seriously angry dude.
      For someone who doesn't need us he certainly likes to rub our noses into it long and hard.
      It's not that I don't like this kind of fiction, what jars me every time is the internal inconsistencies. God can do anything, it says so in the Quran! Yet, he can't be bothered to give his message directly to everybody. Which would take away the guess work.
      What does he do instead? He summons an angel who has to go and find someone to give the good message to. It's dreadfully unprofessional and heinously inefficient.
      If god's message really was all that important to him he'd have made it a lot clearer, and easier to understand the message.
      Also, we need to fear god. And you have to wonder what the underlying psychology is for a supreme being, who can do anything, who needs for part of his creation, who did not get a say in whether they were created or not, to fear him. Seriously, think about that. Why would that be?
      Why did god not just hardcode belief in god into the DNA? Everybody is a believer and knows the holy scripture from the core of their being.
      What do we get instead? An extremely immature and unsure deity who is angry at anyone who doesn't want to believe in him and who threatens them with hell. There you go.
      Also, here's a good one. All the kufar [if that's how you write that] are non-believers. They go straight to hell. That's easy, right?
      Now, the Christians [and other religions?] also have a dictate that anyone who doesn't believe in their franchise -also- goes to hell. The Christian hell.
      What does that mean? Simply: everybody goes to hell. There's no way out. You can't be a fan of two religions at the same time so you're a non-believer in at least one of them. QED: you're going to hell.
      And: you can't say "Well, that doesn't count to me, because I don't believe in [name of religion]." But that's the whole point. Because you don't believe in it, therefore you go to hell. If it's true for one religion it's equally true for another. There's no two ways around it.
      I don't know why jihadists fight to go to heaven, they'll never get there. Nobody will. Everybody goes to hell. How does that make you feel [genuine question].

      Allah needs us to fear him. Fearing Allah is a really big demand, it is repeated many times in the Quran. Why muslims would have to fear Allah is never really made clear. Whether it points to serious psychological problems with identity and self-image is something I'd like a professional opinion on.
      Also, if god say he doesn't need us one bit, would he pretty please, with a cherry on top, have the common courtesy of just not bothering us? For an entity that ostensibly doesn't need us for anything he certainly seems to be very insistent that we spend a lot of time thinking about him.

      yes, because Allah is Most kind. Allah knows what is best for us whether we also understand
      so Allah (exalted and perfect is He) ordains righteousness and prohibits that you say of Him what you don't know.

      Wahhabism stands for spreading hate and intolerance. I'd rather be a sufi than a wahhabi.

    Great talk in general but plenty of weak feminist nonsense at the end! Even more concerning is misquoting Quran at least twice. The birds are in ranks (the verse in Mulk does not mention praying, other verses do) and another one at the end of the talk.
