4:50 if you're a fan of jojo one of the things you have to come to term with is someone on the outside won't understand what's happening until watching. Cause if we try to explain you won't believe us😂
Worth noting the manga is still ongoing more than 30 years later with part 9 currently being published monthly. The anime has only finished part 6 and we're eagerly awaiting part 7.
The story is about following the Joestar bloodline through generations so while there are reoccurring characters each season has a new protagonist and setting to keep things fresh. Also yes, while the fights are pretty typical of the genre this means that the stakes are always high regarding who survives or not.
34:33 I just realised right this moment as I am typing this that - though it isn't a show - another series has actually done this: the Redwall series by Brian Jacques (RIP), which is basically Lord of the Rings/Game of Thrones done by anthro animals. Not only does this series focus specifically on one family lineage (the mice) like JJBA, but different species that have connection to the whole lore. Different species have different "meta" roles in all the stories (mice = heroes, badgers = tanks, otters = water experts, hares = battle-hardened goofballs, etc), so it's fun shifting from one perspective to another. And the story structure is just like LOTR after everyone splits apart. But we also get some Chapters from the villains' perspective, so we get to love them too! In fact my favourite character from the entire series is a villain - Captain Tramun Cuttlefish Clogg, the jolly old obese stoat pirate Captain, who also happens to be the author's favourite character as well. (The short-lived Canadian animated series - which is uploaded to TH-cam by the company - went 100% in in bringing the character to life BTW) Ahh, my appreciation for Redwall has increased. Thanks, JoJo's. *Edit:* Actually, Netflix acquired the rights to make the series animated so it WILL become "another show that switches main characters and stories".
As someone who has seen the entirety of Jojo's I can say that it's a fever dream. The plot is just a bunch of people called Jojo fighting a guy called Dio, among others. That's all there is to it

8:09 "they're all so muscley!" she's got it folks! 😂 Edit: one great thing about the JoJo openings is that they look like a random mess, but they're actually very well constructed so every scene in the opening means something. it's very much worth going back and re-watching them after you're done with a season to go back and see all the clues that they gave in plain sight that you missed the first time.
I just gotta say this, you have been very observant during these openings that you picked up on the changes very well. Very few reactors see the little nuance changes. Kudos! The only thing bad about this video is that it forgets the second version of opening 10
In very simple terms: Jojo's is about a family line where each generation is burdened to fight against an ancient curse and its manifestations and minions.
when I was in tenth grade, a classmate of mine told me to watch JoJo's. I, understandably, asked the question "Sure, what's it about?" and was met with "Uhhhh... Hmm.. Well I can't really tell you without spoiling it, but it's a bizarre adventure"
the first opening start with her in comic strip and end with her great grandpa.. the last opening retuns back with starting with her great grandpa and end with her.. the last punch she make was remaking her great grandpa move from the first opening..
one important thing for me is that you will often see people talk about how weird it is, but despite that weirdness there really is enough internal consistency that; after a bit of adjustment to it, the weirdness to not detract from the story that is being told.
literally cried on 2nd op of stone ocean i still can't heal from this part really hope she watches jojo, everyone needs this experience "is this a horror!?" oh girl......
without spoiling, JoJo is a generation conflict of a family against evil all over the world, which entails several members of the family having their own unique, and more importantly, bizarre adventures. And those "persona"-like things are more the original inspiration for Personas(JoJo started 1987) themselves, and at one poignant described as "the underwear of the soul",
I always love when girls see the openings of Jojo's and get to the opening of Stone Ocean, they are always surprised when they finally see a female main character and enjoy it, I guess they can relate more. Honestly it was a breath of fresh air and one of the best seasons hahaha
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is the story a high-classe Victorian woman who went to shop for a trinket to decorate the living room of her manor, and how things went downhill from there.
JoJo is a culture and i cant even put the tier or describe how i love this manga, it's not perfect or anything but i cant deny whatever Araki sensei delivered
Parts 1-6 of Jojo, or at simple words all the seasons you see the openings of are in the same universe, but parts 7-9, only in manga by now is a new universe, created because Araki (the creator of Jojo) wanted to remake some of the parts he think that are outdated
To clarify, Jojo chapter 1-6 is set in the same universe, with different protagonists from Joestar’s Family. The main theme is passing torch to the next generation like chapter 1 protagonist is grandpa of chapter 2 protagonist, chapter 2 pro also grandpa of chapter 3 pro.
There is an English cover of End of the World by the way It has translated lyrics like "And than he'll discover end of the chapter's blank..... He'll take his fist and than .... PUNCH RIGHT THROUGH THE PAGE !! End of the World........ And the Memory of that Blood !!!" Followed by the ORAORAOROAROAROAROAROAORAORAORAORA...... ORA !!! which is actually the Vocalization that Star Platnuim and Jotaro has when they're punching really fast
To sum it up in limbus terms: each part of jojo is like a different canto, but instead of going through sinners we go through a family tree. entirely new settings and storylines each time with some things connecting them like returning characters or ideas.
Part 1 is kinda rough around the edges, Part 2 is really where the story picks up steam. EDIT: The passive Google song identifier on my phone actually identified Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town from Part 4. I found that amusing.
FYI the colors switch in the show a lot depending on the mood of the scene. There isnt really a set color for anyone so in the openings the colors are very vibrant and what not. And also the shows artstyle is manga like during the entire thing not just fights.
Persona actually took inspiration from Jojo's for how the power system worked, that's why it looks so similar. Now it's time for you to react to 1 and 2 seconds from each episode out of context! It's a right of passage at this point!

Have you checked the Lord of the mysteries anime trailer, if you want mystery, monsters and really thought out power systems, its an adaptation of a really good web novel, it's coming out on 2025.
"is he evil?"
oh boy......
guess I am addicted on blind jojo reactions lol
(The short-lived Canadian animated series - which is uploaded to TH-cam by the company - went 100% in in bringing the character to life BTW)
Ahh, my appreciation for Redwall has increased.
That's all there is to it
Haven't seen these in a while, "Heaven's Falling Down" still gives me a rush when I listen to it.
Get ready, if you think Project Moon brainrot is bad, you haven't seen JoJo brainrot.
Pretty good time to get started too, part 9 has just started.
Jojo, PM, and JJK are the greatest ''brainrot'' fandoms of all time. The strongest brainrot in history, vs the strongest brainrot of today, vs the strongest brainrot of the future.
@@anusaukko6792 and then we have Type Moon brainrot somewhere in between
@@davidoshare-su4hn Medium tier brainrot, it definitely exists but it's not as prolific. They keep it kinda hidden outside of the TM communities, although I guarantee that the words ''ideal'' and ''justice'' fire every single neuron at once for both fandoms lol.

Its funny when you're being giddy about the idea of Jolyne throwing some hands, knowing full well that the hand-to-hand fight scenes she has go pretty hard.
32:23 "Is this messing with time?" Yes, spoiler alert but they've been messing with time this entire time.
*says the spoiler* "Spoiler alert!". Wrong order buddy
Yup, that's how mess up with time it is.
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and I’ve subscribed this was so much fun I would absolutely watch you watch this.
dude tysm that's so awesome!!
I'll probably be lurking waiting for the anime reaction as well.
And I ADORE how you've reacted to Jolyne's part 6. Your emotions were shining through.
I want to put summarizing titles for each part.
Part 1: Sun Knight vs Dracula
Part 2: Mortal Kombat vs Vampires
Part 3: Tarots and Pharohs
Part 4: Mystery Inc vs the Hand Man
Part 5: Gangstars Paradise
Part 6: Jailhouse Fights
8:09 "they're all so muscley!" she's got it folks! 😂 Edit: one great thing about the JoJo openings is that they look like a random mess, but they're actually very well constructed so every scene in the opening means something. it's very much worth going back and re-watching them after you're done with a season to go back and see all the clues that they gave in plain sight that you missed the first time.
Jojo have many opening because when they already tell the power of boss, they make them have it in opening song too, and I love that 😂😂😂
I just gotta say this, you have been very observant during these openings that you picked up on the changes very well. Very few reactors see the little nuance changes. Kudos! The only thing bad about this video is that it forgets the second version of opening 10
thank you so much!! while I am reacting to the series I am including the openings so I guess I will see that one with context haha
whenever they make a slightly different version of an opening it cheekily hints the power of the main villain in that season
Favorite part about people who’ve never seen JoJo watching the openings:
Everyone thinks Dio and Caesar are the same people
"is the point a thing?"
song "let the voice of love take you higher"
"narancia appear" ¡yes muscle ladies!
Referring to an old Rice Crispies commercial: She!? She thinks I’m a girl!
Girl got intrigued by Kakyoin's tongue scene😆
"Is this messing with time or smth?" welcome to JoJos
"Is this an ova or something" yesn't 😂
32:16
"Is this like messing with time?"
Hahahaha very accurate ma friend
VERY ACCURATE
The whole show is about it
In very simple terms: Jojo's is about a family line where each generation is burdened to fight against an ancient curse and its manifestations and minions.
I think you would have a great time with JoJo out of context stuff that happens is so insane it doesn’t feel like spoilers
when I was in tenth grade, a classmate of mine told me to watch JoJo's.
"This is the taste of a Re-Upload!"
I understand why tho.
one important thing for me is that you will often see people talk about how weird it is, but despite that weirdness there really is enough internal consistency that; after a bit of adjustment to it, the weirdness to not detract from the story that is being told.
Jojo is a show with so much WTF energy and angst, it's definitely up your alley.
literally cried on 2nd op of stone ocean i still can't heal from this part
really hope she watches jojo, everyone needs this experience
"is this a horror!?" oh girl......
7:57 waw u got that right quickly compared to other opening reaction videos i've seen!
without spoiling,
JoJo is a generation conflict of a family against evil all over the world, which entails several members of the family having their own unique, and more importantly, bizarre adventures.
Yaaaas Georgiee queeeeen, slaaaay 💅
"are they a baddie?" I haven't heard anything more British today :D
Am I going crazy or wasn't this video from a while ago and was deleted for a while and is back now? I've been wondering what happened to it
@@Ren.4744 Yes, i feel that too 😐
its in the description AND pinned
The final intro hurts so much after you've seen the whole show.
I think i'm going to start rewatching Jojo's again.
JoJo is a culture and i cant even put the tier or describe how i love this manga, it's not perfect or anything but i cant deny whatever Araki sensei delivered
Part 6's last opening HAS SO MUCH LOVE AND HISTORY to a Jojo fan it's INSANE
Can't wait for Part 7
Parts 1-6 of Jojo, or at simple words all the seasons you see the openings of are in the same universe, but parts 7-9, only in manga by now is a new universe, created because Araki (the creator of Jojo) wanted to remake some of the parts he think that are outdated
-"What is this show about?"
-"Yes."
15:27 Yes it's like persona, because persona was inspired by JoJo lol
My body is ready. I waited for this since i started watching georgie
Jojo's change your brain chemistry forever
To clarify, Jojo chapter 1-6 is set in the same universe, with different protagonists from Joestar’s Family.
The main theme is passing torch to the next generation like chapter 1 protagonist is grandpa of chapter 2 protagonist, chapter 2 pro also grandpa of chapter 3 pro.
Each chapter have different concepts
Bad form calling them chapters.
Its been a good long time since i watch a jojo op reaction
Woah, peak anime openings time!
Its about Jojo and his friends having a bizzare adventure.
There is an English cover of End of the World by the way
It has translated lyrics like
"And than he'll discover end of the chapter's blank..... He'll take his fist and than .... PUNCH RIGHT THROUGH THE PAGE !! End of the World........ And the Memory of that Blood !!!"
Followed by the ORAORAOROAROAROAROAROAORAORAORAORA...... ORA !!! which is actually the Vocalization that Star Platnuim and Jotaro has when they're punching really fast
To sum it up in limbus terms: each part of jojo is like a different canto, but instead of going through sinners we go through a family tree. entirely new settings and storylines each time with some things connecting them like returning characters or ideas.
At the risk of making an ass of myself, did you mean litmus?
Part 1 is kinda rough around the edges, Part 2 is really where the story picks up steam.
EDIT: The passive Google song identifier on my phone actually identified Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town from Part 4. I found that amusing.
Omg jojo op reaction!
Woop I hope you enjoyyy!
"*I think someone got murdered?*"
Yes. Lots and lots of someones.
every season is about a new JoJo
FYI the colors switch in the show a lot depending on the mood of the scene. There isnt really a set color for anyone so in the openings the colors are very vibrant and what not. And also the shows artstyle is manga like during the entire thing not just fights.
they are pointing to the sky because if you see when te camera goes up there are clouds with the ghost of the death friends
The bad thing about that all openings video that people react to is that it misses the best version of Great Days.
Persona actually took inspiration from Jojo's for how the power system worked, that's why it looks so similar.
Now it's time for you to react to 1 and 2 seconds from each episode out of context! It's a right of passage at this point!
