The bandwidth is quite acceptable, but reading over the real voltage is not and might indicate that they are over-reporting or amplifying the signal to raise the apparent -3dB point. We'd rather have accuracy throughout most of the range than to have a good -3dB result at the extreme end of the range.
I think with the prize tag on it is ok😉. It would be interesting what happens with a Square wave signal(because of harmonics). I guess in that case the limit of usability is set to 2- 3 MHz ( important in my work with Microcontroller I/O Ports). All in all DSO152 , DSO 153 , and now DSO510 .....I love it ! The only Series which you can carry in the pocket of your jeans ! But Fnirsi , please implement a (rudimentary ,mains Level) overvoltage protection .Not all Oszilloscope Probes can withstand 400V in 1:10 Mode . And how easy is it in practice , to switch accidently to 1:1 mode 😉
Hi, I tough that also, got a bit suspicious on the voltage report. But Like @tomperli4513 mentioned, for this price it is a very nice equipment. Yesterday I was doing some AliExpress shopping and found it at 32€/$35, so even lower than the value I added to the video. For this price, is really a tool to consider. Thanks for watching and your commen.
mybee the cpu is artery AT32F403AVGT7 also used on zoyi zt series and fnirsi sg004a, but why they laser the marking on it, because they used counterfeit ic?
Hi, seems something in that range or the chinese WC something... or WS... don't remember, but the laser engraving/burning is I think, for the competition don't know what they are using and also for curious like us don't know if the specs are possible with the components they use 🤔 Thanks for watching and comment.
Thanks a lot for the detailed video. I noticed on mine, and on yours, that the voltage measurements are high. On yours you got 5.5V with a 5.0V signal and 3.2V with the built-in 3.0V signal generator. Mine is also about 10% high. Does anyone know any way to correct this? (Other than "Buy a real scope" 😬)
Calibration of the high voltage probe must be done with the probe switched to X10. Zooming in on the wave form is achieved moving the top switch/wheel right and zooming out by moving the wheel switch to the left. Page 14 of the manual has a typo in Product Information which refers to it as DSO-153 even though the manual is for DSO-510. Setting the parameters in the menu is a bit difficult at first. The device feels like it needs an "OK" button. No new firmware have been issued as of November 2024. A great little oscilloscope. Well done FNIRSI.
Is it really ok for an oscilloscope to be 10% to 30% off? I mean, if you are in a 1 volt frequency and the reading says 0.7 Is that "really nice" and expected?
Please I want to know whether it's okay to measure a waveform of 230v AC voltage directly or I need to step it down to 6v with the help of a transformer. Because I don't want to burn this DSO510 that I bought.
To delete a saved image without connecting to a computer: Hold MODE Scroll over to IMAGE Press AUTO Select image you want to delete Press RUN and a popup window opens to Delete image Select either confirm or cancel and press NAV button down
Thanks for the nice video. I received my DSO-510 about 2 weeks ago and the image saving does not seem to work. When I press and hold the RUN button the popup shows saving "1.bmp" but is quickly replaced by another popup that says "save failed". Maybe there is a firmware difference? Can you let us know what firmware version your has? Mine is v1.0.1. Thanks.
@@jefftoll604 FNIRSI support got back to me very quickly and told me to connect my DSO-510 to my PC, then enable USB Sharing in the System Settings menu, and to format the DSO-510 drive that shows up on the PC. This worked for me and I can now save screen images. I had to power cycle the DSO-510 for the solution to take effect.
Is it possible with this scope to zoom in on voltage? Let's say we have 6V DC and we want to see it in 10mV resolution (assuming the delta V is around 50mV)
PLease Help !!! dso2512g or dpox180h (measure inverter welder machines, PC power supply, T-con TV, vintage atari, arduino protos, smartphones signals, car signals )
Hi, those are 2 of my favorite devices. DPOX180H has the phosphore screen that is absolutelly amazing, still being accurate and full of features. Zeeweii has other advantages, very accurate also, but for example has the AV output that is pretty cool if you want to use a external monitor. I know, is hard decision 😜 Thanks for watching and comment.
Sir iam stil waiting for your reply Testing signals of smps power supply inverter and ups Which one should i use Dso 510 Tool top et120m Tool top et120m pro Dso 2512g Bside ot2 Dso 512h
Hi, from that list my favorite will be DSO2512G and DSO510 or ET120 PRO. DSO-150 is the most simple of the 3, but you should be ok for that kind measurement with any of them. Thanks for watching!
It's in the mail!
Loving Fnirsi products
HI, awesome! I hope you enjoy your new oscilloscope. Hope also that used the sponsor link 😜. Thanks for watching and your comment.

I couldn't zoom in on the waveform, no matter how I tried. Can you validate this can be done and send step by step instructions. Thank you

The 153 already did 10Mhz even when it said 1Mhz right?

Their description says "Measurement Voltage Range +/- 400V" (But double check to be sure)

@@Peludo485 Thankyou I shall try that.
Hi, I went back to test that and it is confirmed on my unit two. Forgot to test that on the review. Thanks for watching and your comment.
