    When I first got the tigrex in this game I accidentally gave it fire genes to make it turn into a red striped tigrex... *AND I DO NOT REGRET IT FOR ONE SINGLE TIME LOL!!*

  • @spidaTXman

    I noticed the Kinship types are only of the 5 main types (Fire, Ice, Water, Lightning, and Drag), but can they also be done with sub-types (Para, Poi, Sleep, and Slime/Blast)??

    • @sylxeria
      @sylxeria  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Many of the riding attacks do have a secondary effect that's unrelated to the element used: Great Baggi's will inflict Sleep, Gypceros and Garuga's will inflict Poison, Brachy and Molten will inflict Blast, and so on. The secondary effect is unrelated to the monster's element, and that can't be changed. You can't have an Iodrome that inflicts Sleep with its attack for example.

    • @spidaTXman
      @spidaTXman 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      This statement may have just killed my dream. LOL! But just to clarify, if I have a Diablos, and give it a ton of poison attacks/boosts, its Kinship attack will NOT be poison type??

    • @sylxeria
      @sylxeria  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. To have a kinship attack that inflicts poison, you'd need a monster like Iodrome or Garuga and use those. Only specific monsters have riding attacks that involve status conditions and that cant be changed. You can change the elemenet (Fire, Water, etc) but not the status condition it inflicts if any.

    Hey!, I think Tigrex has a secret one.....I saw it in a japanese TH-camr once, I think it was..........blast?, stench?, the attack made a lot of gas like substance (I think it was red with a bit of yellow), and well, something made it explode, wich was hilarous XD, I wonder if you can find it though.....( ,. _ .).
    Anyway, have a wonderfull day :3!.

      It's the same with every monster. It depends on the Genes you meld into them, and what Element they're weakest to. The stronger the source monster, the more likely you are to get Genes of high quality. Deviljho and Stygian Zinogre are good sources of Dragon Element, Ivory lagiacrus is a good source of Thunder, and so on.
      For the second part, a monster that is weak to an Element will always be at a disadvantage when using that Element. A Fire Lagiacrus will never be as proficient with their Element as a Thunder one.
      "What is the best Element to use with a monster" really depends on your personal preferences, or if you're designing that monster to counter another specific monster.
      Apologies for the English by the way, I'm using Google Translate and its not the best :(

    How can i change the element?!?!

    • @sylxeria
      @sylxeria  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you're doing the channeling ritual thing look for genes that have +Elemental Attack on them and bind them to your monster. Once their elemental attack (Say, Ice) reaches I think around 4+ or higher AND is the strongest element in their Attack stats, they'll change to that element.
