GHOSTLY Kayakoy in Fethiye (Turkey Van Life)

As we continue our campervan explorations of the Turquoise coast of Turkey, we visit the abandoned Greek village of Kayaköy. Known in ancient Greek as Karmilissos, the village was evacuated in 1923 following the Treaty of Lausanne. Today the village is an open air museum consisting of Greek style housing and churches, set on a beautiful hillside.
We visited Kayaköy after a stunning camp on nearby Gemiler beach with views of St Nicholas' Island.
