Have been holidaying in Turkey for the last 7 years, firstly at Icmeler and latterly, Olu Deniz - my favourite part of the world. This is a lovely series of videos; informative and great quality. I spend most days down by the beach, taking photographs as the paragliders come in. You've really done justice to this 'little jewel.' Thank you!

I miss Fethiye so much. I went there a couple of years ago. you revived my memories. Hopefully, i will be there in September this year.

It's been 20 years since I last visited & even in the 15yrs up until you filmed this, it had changed quite alot.
So many more restaurants, seemingly more tourists & cleaner.
I loved the place then & will certainly do again on a must re-visit asap, when Covid restrictions allow.

Thank you for making such a brilliant video Mick. It brings back so many happy memories of all the places which both myself and husband just love. We have been going out and staying in Fethiye for many years, love the town, the Turkish people and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Finally visited fethiye last July, spend 2 nights after my short visit to Rhodes by ferry. I experienced my 1st Haman 🙂 great service, the owner picked me up and dropped me off. Also joined the 12 Islands tour,enjoyed many swimming stops. I would love to visit again in the near future

I first watched this video before I came to Fethiye. We've been there twice now. When I rewatched this I recognised a lot. Aspecially Megri restaurant is a favorite. Love to watch this.
My family were move to Fethiye from Kayseri when I was 3 years old. I spend my early childhood times in Fethiye. Currently I live in Ankara . I miss Fethiye, and remember those chilhood days everytime. Your videos awesome Mick, say hi to your wife.You are so sweet together. İkiniz birlikte kameraya çok yakışıyorsunuz :) By the way I also lived near Amintas, when I was 6 yrs old, I like your pictures, view managing at your videos, and I like the bay view from top of the 199 stairs, those view my childhood mornings view, thx , see you next time :)

You've recorded an amazing video. I have visited Fethiye many times and traveled all places, went to all unique restaurans ( especially Bogazici restaurant ) , bars, Paspatur etc. that you told about us but I think no one could describe the beauties of Fethiye as you did. Thank you!

ezo gelinnis also my prefered soup, it helped me during ilness; light to digest and nutritious, it is a mixture of rice , bulgur and red lentil in very fine powder

Cruising through your videos, I now have this terrible urge to move down to Fethiye...
People who live in countries where shops close between 3 and 5 pm are also hard-working people! Spanish people, for example, start very early in the morning and finish late at night. And many of them don't even take a nap, they use their break to have lunch with their families or colleagues. Plus in Turkey families tend to be a bit bigger than in Southern Europe so family members can replace one another more easily at the cashier. I'm amazed that after so many years in Turkey you should appear to know European Mediterranean societies superficially...
