For 1.4 humans checking this video out: Mandible farm isn't really needed, there is Anchient Chisel now that buff your mining speed. For my daily digging, I use Cake+Anchient Chisel. When I need extra speed I eat some foods. The sky rail isn't really needed because now you have pylons. Instant teleportation. You may want to build it only if you want to prevent meteorite, or collect stars easily. I don't need cobweb that much. You can get highlighted trap permanently by crafting grand design, and you can dismantle it from far. For something like dungeon, it is kinda nice. But I don't really want to create whole farm for it. So see if the reward is worth it for you first, before you create any farm on this farm list. Some are nice. My priority are: fishing, hellevators, herb, wood, truffle, jungle bait, mimics
Another small addendum to this; the pumpkin farm isn't nearly as useful long term nowadays, since pumpkin pie isn't the best food item anymore. That title belongs to the grape juice technically, granting 14 minutes of exquisitely stuffed, but is incredibly annoying to get grapes for, since there's no reliable way to farm them. Get seafood dinner as your food item, less than a third of the duration, but you can get 15 of them before you get a single grape juice. While it seems really annoying if you look at the wiki (taking 2 of any biome fish, which are used for other things), that's actually not the case. You can instead catch neon tetra by fishing in the jungle. They're white rarity, by far the most frequent catch, and to top it off they have literally no other use besides seafood dinner.
digging a hellevator every 70 or so blocks and using the clentaminator on each side will clear the entire world of corruption and hallow. It would also take less time than starting a new world and doing all of this pre-hardmode. But you being able to use the clentaminator is based off whether or not you have access to the steampunker still. Cleaning that world should be a fun task to overcome dude.
Just in case anybody, like me, wanted to put a list into a notepad to check off as they complete the farms in their world, here one is to copy and paste. Farms to build in Terraria before hardmode -Home barrier (5 blocks wide) -Sky bridge (With minecart) -Sky battle area -Battle Area -Hell Bridge (Made of ice) -Mimic/Soul Farm -Dungeon Farm -Fishing Farms (Cavern Layer, Coruption, Crimson, Hallow (You can do 3 in one with the clentaminator), Snow (For Frost Moon event), Space (For Calming Potion) -Antlion Farm -Cobweb Farm -Glowing Mushroom Farm -Jungle Farm/Arena (Near your base) -Mushroom/Bait Farm -Tree Farm -Herb Farm/Pumpkin Patch -Liquid/Mixing Area
This video was so useful. I've been looking for something like this for a while. Like I was to the point where I didn't want to play Terraria because I didn't know what I needed to have before I went into hardmode. Thank you!
Like I don't understand how this channel hasn't blown up yet in the Terraria community. This channel is better at explaining how to do farms in this game than any of the big channels.
Thanks a ton! I'm really glad the video helped. Feel free to ask questions if you feel you're stuck anywhere. I'd be glad to give whatever advice I could!
boyishdude1234 you cant repatch games to an older version to please only 1 person..just look to old forums and watch some patch history of certain items
If you build a hellbridge out of ash then the wall will think that is the floor of hell and it will keep the eyes and mouth above it so you can always hit them
yea, the mouth of the WOF will always try to line up with the player, though it spawns at the elevation where the voodoo doll was thrown into lava. i found that out on my own the hard way... it was pretty hard killing the WOF when it was stuck in the ground most of the fight...
Relogic: Terraria allows players to have fun exploring the game learning and acquiring the universe of it. They will suffer a lot of mistakes and will test their patience and their luck on finding items. Fighting boss will be difficult for they are the monster with an infinite power of evil. Him: haha farm
Another thing you guys should make before hardmode are mini biomes, since usually the corruption destroyes biomes its nice to have mini versions of them just in case
Dude seriously.... I have been playing terraria and watching videos since the year it launched. Yet a couple of these farms i have never heard of! They're genius! Definitely got a sub.
*his arena* : Full of space and easy to navigate and filled with traps *My arena* : One campfire and a trees worth of platforms placed at random heights
I prefer placing teleporters at the significant areas in the world like the corruption, desert, ocean, boss arenas, etc. Then it is simply a matter of clicking on the left switch or right switch to traverse the world. Also, a switch in the middle of the teleporters can be used for going to the Underworld, lihzahrd temple, underground hallow, or other things.
Jordan Fischer You cant buy telepprters in pre-hardmode, also I did this and it cost me around 2 platinum by placing two teleporters only. (hell and dungeon)
Miggy By the time I'm ready to place teleporters I usually have from 6 to 10 platinum coins so I can afford to place wires that span a medium-sized world. Don't play on large worlds because that will cost a lot more to purchase the wiring. The teleporters cost 25000 per piece, and you don't really need more than 20 of them, so at most the teleporters will cost 50 gold coins. Using the grand design (or whatever that multi tool is called) you can very quickly place the wires across the entire world, so installing the teleporter mechanism shouldn't be too difficult. If you play on Expert mode, you should easily be getting enough coins to purchase the wiring. That's the most costly part of it. If you're lucky enough to find a discount card from a pirate invasion, you may not have to spend as much for everything. My point is that everything about this works for me. I don't need tunnels. I've got teleporters to get me everywhere. I'm just wondering why so many people don't realize that they can abuse teleporters like I do. Lol
Jordan Fischer What? I've only said that teleporters are too costy for me, I had 3 platinum coins before and after buying wires and 4 teleporters, I had like 1 platinum, my world is small btw. and I have only beaten a single mechanical boss
I don't understand why you have an issue with the cost. I don't have an issue with the cost. Sure, I can barely afford to reforge items, but I'm fine with that as long as I get to go anywhere I want in my world within a matter of seconds. It really saves a lot of time.
Wow, I'm appalled. I have seen some useless farms, but these... those farms are horrendous!! Some might be useful but those are basically mandatory. Pre-scriptum: they get worse the more you watch. There's TLDR at the end. 1. Home barrier(0:30) - I would only use it for 'perfection' worlds, but still, it's only useful if you do play a lot of time on your world. Most farms btw use all of the spawning space too, or, let's say critter farms, are easily enclosed. Might find a use but you can just use clentaminator if things do get hectic. 2. Skybridge/ Battle Area(2:27) - It's mandatory in expert mode and useful in normal, but you can also just wing it by placing platforms anywhere (preferably close to your base). 2.5. Arena for events(3:22) - tbh I haven't tried it because it takes too many resources for what it offers. I would recommend a lava pyramid as the only event you mainly want to grind is pirate invasion(for the drops) and maybe Halloween/Christmas events for the money, but those work much better with specialized arenas. 3. Hellbridge(4:09) - once again it is very common to see one of these. Not from ice. Btw you only accelerate a tiny bit faster on ice, you don't get bigger max speed. Usually making a long platform from any blocks such as stone and punching stones in expert mode for lava slimes is the most common way I see it being done. Platforms work great too. 4. Hellevator & Minecraft Path(6:00) - okay. It is the best one. Hellevator IS mandatory and the minecart does give you easy access to the ocean, dungeon and other biomes. I would definitely recommend the minecart if you have enough wood and iron. Also, the hellevator is viable with just 2 blocks in width. 5. Mimic & Souls Farm(8:06) - I like it, but he should've mentioned that it is a big project, hard to do without wings (tip: use explosives). The farm yields loads of gold, souls, random weapons and if I recall correctly TerrariaHelp has a great tutorial. If you need tons of souls, let's say for modded, I highly recommend this. 6. Dungeon Farm(9:32) - I haven't compared the gold rate, but I would think it's that high for what it offers. It's a big project pre-hardmode project as your pick is really slow. If you do need the weapons just find the correct background and dig out a mediocre space to dodge. Most of the enemies are melee and you can just range them down from a platform to get your desired drops. It's also not hard to farm ectoplasm. 7. Fishing Farms(10:41) - just take 1 bucket of water, dig a hole (18x17 or some combination to get 300 blocks), and make infinite water by using terraria weird water physics. I love fishing but building these big farms doesn't help more than the 3x2 case. Recommend to build in some various heights or biomes depending on what you need. 8. Antlion Farm(11:31) - wait. Why? I haven't built it but just from the looks of it, it looks horrible. Why do you need that many antlion mandibles? You don't need sturdy fossils in hardmode too. Btw mining potion lasts 8 minutes and requires 1 mandible and 1 blinkroot. For an hour of constant digging, you will use 7.5 which is easily doable without this farm. Do not build it. 9. Cobweb Farm(12:56) - no. Why do you need so much fkin silk?? Why do you need a constant supply of dangersense potions? You don't so you're a smart boy and you skip over this farm. 10. Glowing Mushroom & Truffle Worm Farm(14:20) - ehh. I guess it's usable, but I don't know why you would want to farm duke fishron rather than other bosses. I have used it, but I usually spend more time building it than using it. Also, you do not need glowing mushrooms for healing potions and armor. Just build a place for the truffle NPC to move in and harvest it sometimes to get what amount you need for the armor. You can buy healing potions so no need for mushrooms there. 11. Home Jungle Farm / Arena(15:45) - do not know why he built it in his base but it is useful if you're scared to roam the jungles with spelunker potion and get the heart fruits. For plantera? Just don't be lazy and dig out an area in the jungle near the bulb and just circle her constantly. If you are having tons and tons of difficulty or you're trying to get the axe I guess it's a viable choice to build it. Btw he lied - life fruits (on pc, console, and mobile) spawn after a mechanical boss is defeated. 12. Mushroom and bait farm(17:02) - no no no no. Do not build it except you really want a golden grasshopper or worm (for collection purpose?). This farm (with adjustments) is usable in Halloween when the pumpkins spawn in the wild but besides that I guess it only looks cool. 13. Tree farm(18:02) - can't you just have little fields for this? Yes, you can, and I would say this is not a tree farm, just some space for trees. Also only useful for building. 14. Herb farm and pumpkin patch(19:07) - I'll recommend it if you're constantly having difficulty with bosses. The pumpkins I would say are also helpful, but cooked fish(20min) is also usable. 15. Liquid Farm & Mixing Room(22:05) - too much work for what it offers. Just do it manually or find 2 pools of liquid you want to mix in the wild and dig out a path for them to connect. It's not hard. TLDR; Almost mandatory ones: 2, 3, 4. Really useful: 7, 14. Somewhat useful (depending on your needs): 1, 2.5, 4, 5, 10. Useless: 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15.
Sas Kajus I agree that most of these things aren’t really necessary and a few of them are really pointless ie antilon farm. But what I will say is that some of these that you sort off just glossed over are actually really important for example the glowing mushroom farm which pretty much is mandatory if you’re playing ranger and the jungle is incredibly useful especially if you’re lazy (like me). Most of the farms showcased in this video are for convenience and normally who wouldn’t need them but are more recommended if you’re planning on spending a lot of time on a specific world.
These aren't mandatory for an average terraria player, but they probably are for people like this guy who spend hundreds of hours on their worlds and enjoy undertaking massive projects on them. So it's just a matter of perspective I think.
@@romeaskew-davis6850 you are asking on the farms from this video? ... he has a pumpkin moon farm that uses the slime invincibility that does not work. Other then that the mimic farm has sort of an upgraded version th-cam.com/video/IKMgtxL7w7A/w-d-xo.html
Pro-tip: Bashing demon altars adds random corrupt blocks to your world, which makes the spread worse and harder to contain. Bypass this early on by fishing up as many crates as possible and hoarding them for hardmode, where they will actually give you hardmore ores when you open them, thus negating the need to smash altars to spawn hardmode ore in your world.
@@theroboman727 You're welcome. I'm happy to know i helped someone out. I'm currently playing a hardmode world and that's all i did. I had a ton of crates and as soon as i hit hardmode i had the best armor and gear from the hardmode ores.
@@valmontdraconus Damn. I went chaotic evil and smashed the 50 odd Demon Alters I found :D I wanted my world to be ore-some... I'm making good friends with the clentaminator. In the 4 (real life) days of play from smashing the Alters to killing Plantera, my world went from 8% hallow, 16% corrupt to 11% hallow, 21% corrupt. Whenever I'm missioning around I'm checking for contaminated areas and cleaning or containing them. So far working in my favour, because I'm farming a lot of loot from so many different areas/biomes. Hard work, but, I dig it...
@@Jimjolnir I think the world i'm streaming is currently about 8% crimson and 9% Hallow. NO smashed altars, and I defeated the Golem. I was trying to be more careful with everything and how much I let my world get contaminated because I started completely fresh with a new world and new character and have just been working my way through. It took me a little while to save up enough gold for the clentaminator and the solutions for it get pricey if you use a lot. Also I feel like the jungle is the worst part to deal with. Once it becomes corrupt it is a pain the turn it back into jungle since everything turns into dirt.
I wouldn't mind this either, I could get a lot of inspiration for my own world, but I can see why he wouldn't want to. All that hard work he put into it, and a bunch of people put 5 seconds into downloading it and another 10 to put it in the right folder to have the same thing he spent hours upon hours to do.
It IS downloadable, i have the exact same map, i can give you the link for it, also, i believe he downloaded that too. mods.curse.com/maps/terraria/269022-the-secret-level-v1-0
I know its probably too late, but don't be intimidated! I've gotten to moonlord without ever building a single farm and having basically a wooden shed as a fort and house for my npcs. Although now, after seeing all of this I now know Ive missed out on easy loot I could have farmed instead of battled for. Depends on how you want to play
@@ArguablyTheWorst probably nicest to do one TOTALLY blind run with zero guides, then when you've got all the spoilers yourself, do an extremely guide assisted run. Then finally mods. Now you can return to the game and have epic playthroughs a few times a decade forever :))
Farms are cool and all but personally I like they grind and the challenge, for me it's what makes the game interesting and challenging. If you set all these farms up it might take at least 30 hours. In that time you could pretty much get up into the golem stage of the game if you didn't build all the farms. Like some of these are kinda cool but also some are to me at least really unnecessary, like the mushroom, mandible and cobweb farms are to me kinda useless
I usually just build some basic farms so I don't need to waste inventory space for those things on the go, now all I need is a filter so I won't pick up blinkroot and it's seeds etc. to begin with. I often set up teleporters across the map and dig out quite a bit of the jungle to protect it anyway, so it's pretty much just as fast for me to just go to a natural mushroom/spider biome or to just go through the jungle for chlorophyte etc., it's more fun for me. I tend to just hang out in my desert home for a while when running low on mandibles, I manage to build up a surplus just with these methods anyway.
Everyone has their own playstyle. I myself love the building process of farms, sometimes I get my items during the building and I still finish my farms to the end.
@@MMOplayeerr That item was SO FUN. Too bad I didn't play online, I remember I had a cool support setup that applied debuffs with the dragon staff from the dungeon thingy event, ichor debuff and some other stuff as well, mostly keeping the rod in hand to take the aggro and dodge easily
Mission complete. You helped by saving me a lot of time and frustration, grinding. The key bit, was the part about cutting my losses and playing a fun game, instead. That was dope. Haha.
Thanks man! I've pretty much all but given up on trying to find decent Terraria videos or even guides in general, but this video was exactly what I was looking for! I'll be back later to watch some more of your videos!
I like resource-efficient planter box farms with regrowth myself, but I think huge automated farms are considerably more time-efficient for 2+ players that almost always buff if you have the supply to start it up. Regrowth is always great to get the amounts of herbs that make a bigger farm worth it though, amazing for deathweed
you should get it on pc, seriously its much better and most pc's can handle terraria i used to play terraria on console and when i pirated terraria to see if my pc could handle it and i was surprised how much stuff isnt on console
The only farm I've ever set up was a glowing mushroom farm. I've never been farming type of guy, but having a way to get industrial amounts of glowing mushrooms is really nice (it could also be a good way to get glowing mushroom seeds for building a mushroom biome on the surface)
Nonna Urbisness yes most definitely, furthermore, he names a arena a sky bridge, furthermore again, he thought that with wings you still conceded fall damage
So sad that you stopped making videos! Maybe you can start again with the newest update! A beginners guide series would be a great way to get back into it!anyways cheers and thanks for sharing the knowledge!
Melchior Magni i was going to suggest a drinking game where everytime he says "uh" take a shot... not anymore because im afraid i'll be sued for them dying of alcohol poisoning
This video was very helpful for me I needed something like this and i am at the end game now now but this will be good for more people starting out. Thanks.
I prefer doing some of these things when my character can do them faster or skipping things like a minecart track in favor of just waiting for teleporters or a fast mount, it seems to me people really love over-preparing in this game haha. I find myself doing it too. It's good you kept the corruption barrier modest compared to others though lol
Nice video dude! Just started playing terraria. Gonna get in hardmode for the first time soon. Already used & altered a few of your farms which work great. Keep up the good work!
Appreciate the help bro! 30 hours into Terreria, and I'm still clueless to like 75% of this stuff, haha. That's what I get for looking this up now. Thanks! :)
Chosen Yasuó Typically they spawn in predictable places, corruption underneath corruption, and Hallow underneath the biome opposite of it. If not, you can move 200 hallow or corruption blocks to the area you wish to farm in and get souls that way. In fact, you can do both at the same farm and get both soul types.
Look closely at the soul farm, and there is a box above it. That is full of stone, which you can use the clemtaminator on to change the biome from Hallow to Corruption to get both types of souls.
Archangel Riven When hard mode starts, the game spawns the two underground biomes in a huge V shape, with the point being in the middle of the world. So it's actually really easy to work out where the biomes are.
most of these are actually unecessary. having so many farms ruins the game entirely, as you bore yourself building, and bore yourself gathering the loot. then since you're so stacked you steamroll bosses, then move onto the next farm to steamroll the next boss. it adds no challenge or satisfaction to the game. induces no rage, happiness, or any emotion really. i'd suggest making one or two of these farms to make stuff slightly easier, but making 15 is time consuming and boring.
Time consuming, sure. Boring, maybe at times. Coming back to Terraria after about 7 years, I decided to spend time in pre-hardmode to prepare most of these things before fighting WoF.
I build VERY few of these the first time I play Terraria and GODDA*N I was struggling to finish the game...but still, your truffle worm farm was basically the one I was finding and your video helps a lot :)
Awesome projects, but this......... man i... i .. CANT HANDLE THE TIME TO BUILD THIS omg... Thats too much for me..... i just can't. Heres a story: Once upon a time there was me and my friend playing terraria. We had fun, but eventually he got bored. And now he doesnt want to play terraria. (BTW he doesnt know that we need to do pre-hardmode preparations). ANd if i show him this... He will say fk this aint playing this game again... ;-; ;-; why does it take that much time... I know it is fun! I have alot of fun finding, exploring, looting (Untill everything fills up my inv) and kicking boss butt. My friend doesnt like farming...
Watching this after entering hardmode completely unprepared and ignoring corruption until I got overwhelmed. XD Thanks for the tips, they'll be useful in my new world!
@@TheSphongleface Is it too much? What does that even mean, really? I wasn't conscious of his laugh at all until I saw the comments. This happens quite often, actually--I'll watch a perfectly fine video, then notice comments pointing out the most trivial concerns that I never would have thought twice about. People really get hung up on nothing, I guess. Then again I've been on the internet for almost two decades. This doesn't surprise me in the least.
While the barrier would indeed be effective at preventing spread of crimson/corruption, it does *not* stop the initial infection that occurs the instant you slay WoF the first time if your bases, zones or structures happen to be in the way. Just something to consider. The borehole to hell and the liquid farm are mandatory imo. You will want a dungeon farm and perhaps an antlion farm (not as impt) but I would *love* to see how anyone will be able to set up a souls farm before slaying wof. Some of these things you will *need* teleporters for which you dont get until you slay a mechanical boss in HM. It is a pain in the rear getting truffles to summon duke fishron also.

Oh my God man, terraria is really intimidating to my brain lol. I dont even understand what I'm looking at. But I read online that 7 year olds play this game and I'm in my mid 20's so. What do all of these farms accomplish? Why do I need farms for anything? What I'm gathering is that this is all just preparatory yes?
most these farms are for ingredients / mob drops you use later on in the game, its extremely hard to make some of these later on in the game, which is why you should do it prehardmode.
@@jakesteck606 Most are built underground because of the drops. Some drops do depend if the mob / item is in the cavern layer, underground or on the surface, and most of these farms are meant to be underground because of the drops. Fishing in different world layers gives different fish, Antlions can only be spawned in the underground desert, Cobweb is found in spider nests which spawn in the cavern layer, Truffle worms only spawn in the underground mushroom biome, and the Home Jungle farm is used to spawn life fruits & plantera bulbs later on in the game. Those plants only spawn in the underground jungle - basically most farms are meant for underground drops. Also some drops don't change if its on the surface or the underground layer, you can choose to build it on either layer if this happens (Mushroom / Bait farm, Liquid farm and the Herb farm). I personally build them underground because of my underground railway and it looks cleaner on my map. You can define the underground & cavern layer by the background; When you're underground you can still place torches on the walls, and in the cavern you cant place any on the walls. There's also an accessory that shows your current depth and what layer you're in - the depth meter, its an uncommon drop in the cavern layer and very useful. Hope this helps :)
@@maniere6604 Wow ok thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to help out a stranger on the internet. I think I definitely understand a bit better and will probably use this conversation as reference 😉
Tip for hellavator is to use a slime mount while falling. You can go faster because the slime mount enhances your weight (idk by how much but I know it does)
These are great. Good job, I learnt a few useful bits! One quick tip - Slime mount makes you fall faster than anything else, so it's great for getting down a Hellevator quickly. I keep a chest at the top with all my slime mounts in in case I need to rush down the Hellevator.
If you want, you can combine 15 with 12: a 3-to-6-block-wide hellevator. 11 can be sped up with conveyor belts to convey most of the loot into your trap, should you get a familiar to battle outside of it; it's a hardmode item, though, so prepare most of the arena first.

For 1.4 humans checking this video out:
Mandible farm isn't really needed, there is Anchient Chisel now that buff your mining speed.

Could've used this video a while ago, my world is almost entirely corrupt now. At least I get the achievement
digging a hellevator every 70 or so blocks and using the clentaminator on each side will clear the entire world of corruption and hallow. It would also take less time than starting a new world and doing all of this pre-hardmode.
But you being able to use the clentaminator is based off whether or not you have access to the steampunker still.
Cleaning that world should be a fun task to overcome dude.

If you build a hellbridge out of ash then the wall will think that is the floor of hell and it will keep the eyes and mouth above it so you can always hit them
Is that real? Because expert mode WOF is a real PIA.
Ryan Farber no its not. mouth is always in line with the player.
yea, the mouth of the WOF will always try to line up with the player, though it spawns at the elevation where the voodoo doll was thrown into lava. i found that out on my own the hard way... it was pretty hard killing the WOF when it was stuck in the ground most of the fight...
Lion TheObliterator Even so, the eyes have significantly less defense than the mouth, therefore making it more desirable to hit the eyes instead.
Lol Noob yes i know.
I would get this recommended an hour after entering hard mode lol
Relogic: Terraria allows players to have fun exploring the game learning and acquiring the universe of it. They will suffer a lot of mistakes and will test their patience and their luck on finding items. Fighting boss will be difficult for they are the monster with an infinite power of evil.

After playing calamity ( I'm only half way through) I have 100+ platinum coins :p
Alternative title: how to beat the game before hardmode
TLDR;
Almost mandatory ones: 2, 3, 4.
This is great! Me and my friends are doing an expert playthrough and these will be so useful for us!

Hi doggy
Hi nice rs vid lol
Tip: Defeating Plantera reduces the spread of the Hallow/Corruption/Crimson by 66%
Pro-tip: Bashing demon altars adds random corrupt blocks to your world, which makes the spread worse and harder to contain.

How can u set up a soul farm when u dont know where Halow/Undergrounf Corruption/Crimson is ? :^)
Archangel Riven you look
Archangel Riven
When hard mode starts, the game spawns the two underground biomes in a huge V shape, with the point being in the middle of the world. So it's actually really easy to work out where the biomes are.
3:30 you can glitch into the temple with 6 platforms hammering them to stairs on each side of the door. You then run in fast (not walking)
most of these are actually unecessary. having so many farms ruins the game entirely, as you bore yourself building, and bore yourself gathering the loot. then since you're so stacked you steamroll bosses, then move onto the next farm to steamroll the next boss. it adds no challenge or satisfaction to the game. induces no rage, happiness, or any emotion really. i'd suggest making one or two of these farms to make stuff slightly easier, but making 15 is time consuming and boring.
He will say fk this aint playing this game again... ;-;
;-; why does it take that much time... I know it is fun! I have alot of fun finding, exploring, looting (Untill everything fills up my inv) and kicking boss butt.
My friend doesnt like farming...
You don't have to do this but I make the game like 50 times easier...
Normal runs rarely require this much preparation, but if you guys are tackling expert mode you should probably look into some of these
Watching this after entering hardmode completely unprepared and ignoring corruption until I got overwhelmed. XD
Thanks for the tips, they'll be useful in my new world!
i think ill just stay in pre-hard forever XD
Purpial not as fun tho. Hard mode is where its at
only like 3 of these farms are necessary and hardmode is when the game actually starts
Stop saying xD
That map/base you got there is IMPRESSIVE. Very nice indeed.
This guys just trying to help people in terraria and he’s getting just talked down on in the comments.
You're right but his laugh is too much.
Welcome to the internet
@@TheSphongleface Is it too much? What does that even mean, really?
I wasn't conscious of his laugh at all until I saw the comments. This happens quite often, actually--I'll watch a perfectly fine video, then notice comments pointing out the most trivial concerns that I never would have thought twice about. People really get hung up on nothing, I guess.
Then again I've been on the internet for almost two decades. This doesn't surprise me in the least.
@@blackmage1276 been on the internet for a while
Honestly, there were fewer farms than I expected. Great video.
*Time stamps for myself:*
0:30 Home Barrier
2:25 Skybridge/Battle Arena
4:10 Hellbridge
6:00 Hellevator/Minecart path
8:06 Mimic/Souls farm (or literally any other drop)
9:30 Dungeon Farm
10:41 Fishing farms
11:32 Antlion farms (can be combined with any other farm)
12:54 Cobweb farms (Why?)
14:20 Glowing Mushroom/Truffle worm (actually useful)
15:45 Jungle farm (again, can be combined with others)
17:02 Mushroom farm
18:02 Tree farm
19:07 Herb farm (combine with the two above)
22:07 Liquid farm
When he was talking about fall damage in the hellevator, I was like:
Yeah you could do that, or you could just get a lucky horseshoe.
Actual skidmark.
Wings or a "landing pad" of pink slime blocks are also effective.
*lucky lucky horseshoe*
My dumbass almost halfway through calamity hardmode:
*Interesting...*
@@maniere6604 ok so I have seen that lots of people prefer to build these farms underground, is there a reason for this? More safe maybe? Convenience?
@@jakesteck606 Glad I helped! Most info can always be found on the wiki if you need that. (terraria.gamepedia.com/Terraria_Wiki)
Tip for hellavator is to use a slime mount while falling. You can go faster because the slime mount enhances your weight (idk by how much but I know it does)
Everybody: HIS LAUGH SCARES ME
The people that write those comments: Oh his laugh?, Yeah it's not scary I just wanted clout.
These are great. Good job, I learnt a few useful bits!
One quick tip - Slime mount makes you fall faster than anything else, so it's great for getting down a Hellevator quickly. I keep a chest at the top with all my slime mounts in in case I need to rush down the Hellevator.
0:57 I see that underground illuminati pyramid lmao
If you want, you can combine 15 with 12: a 3-to-6-block-wide hellevator. 11 can be sped up with conveyor belts to convey most of the loot into your trap, should you get a familiar to battle outside of it; it's a hardmode item, though, so prepare most of the arena first.
I played through the whole game without building any of those things and im pretty sure if i would had build them it would have taken way longer...
After playing terraria for 12 hours and stumbling upon your clip I'm amazed at what this game is capable of. wow!
I bet he don’t like the “Hard-Mode baddies” 😏😏😂😂
Wow! First time I stumbled on that good of a channel randomly. You keep your work mate. You're doing very great.
is there a way what i can do about loseing my stuff i mean when i die i just lose everythin almost every time i get there late that it despawn ?
if you get wings you'll get to where you want to go fast
Team W3rfy make a new character and ther will be a thing that says softcore keep it on that
Team W3rfy dont play on mediumcore
Thank you so so much for this vid I felt the like I was doomed once hardmode started but I think I will be prepared! Thank you!
things I'll need before hard mode. An everything farm
You got better gear before hardmode than I did after beating Moonlord.
Can we get a full world tour?
I don't have Terraria on pc but I think this video was very useful and I will want to remember this channel
Why use danger sense potions when you can carry "The Grand Design" to highlight trap wires
I was making a very big tunnel and didnt know what to do with it so thx
It was kinda of ish in the middle of my world
