Hey Friends!
Since I went more in depth during my previous videos on Pat's shadows, this was more a "how would I apply" this palette. I felt the mattes were consistent with her previous two, and the metallic/topper shades had the same texture.

Beautiful! Please do more tutorials using this palette. I was not interested in Sublime because the shades seemed too cool toned. But now seeing how neutral they come across on the eyes, I might just have to get it with my Sephora coupon. Silly me... I thought I was done after buying Subliminal & Subversive 🤪

Subliminal has surprisingly become my favorite palette of Pat’s. Blitz Blue is phenomenal of course but you can also create some very chic everyday glam looks. Love it! Gorgeous on you of course!
I’m late i wouldn’t get this palette unless i got it at a discount. After viewing this demo i decided to get this one at the Sephora with my Vib 15% off. I also got the foundation and mini gloss set. I can’t wait to get it.
And astral white over the blitz blue is take your breath away stunning. Just incredible. No one (at least that I am aware of ) does what PM does.
I've watched this video so many times. It's such a beautiful look and It really does the palette justice. I love your style of makeup and your videos in general. Even my fiancé knows I get excited when you upload a new video haha.

I love what that more simple color did in the inner crease 👌🏼beautiful! Love the look! Mine gets here tomorrow 💃🏻 I have the other two and thought this palette was a pass, colors looked a little boring, but I have the feeling this will be my go to of the three. You can do a complete simple to full on glam look with this one. Not that I mind reaching for other palettes.. I wet my brush really good and dab across when I do my lower lash line and don't get much fall out that way. 😍😍would love another tutorial with the other colors 👌🏼😘💜

Just tried a less gilded version of your look. It was great. You were right about the lighting. The colors are neutral as you say and the blue is really more navy. I LOVE it! Thank you for the ideas. I love the way I got the blending.

I really like the look you created and all the tips! I've also watched your other video, where you created 3 looks with this palette... in fact, I think it was after watching that video that I decided to buy Subliminal. 😁

Hi there beautiful. I got this palette this yesterday and I was blown away of how gorgeous pigmented these eyeshadows. It is all worth it for the price. Sometimes the really expensive ones are the most prettiest eyeshadows. It's hard to find this kind of eyeshadows in drugstore. I am done in buying eyeshadows for now. I am so contented with Pat Mcgrath Mothership Palettes. Though I have Charlotte Tilbury in Starry Eyes to Hypnotise Palette. It's good for everyday. I like this one too because it is subtle.

So pretty! So the trick is to pat the blitz blue onto the lid instead of wiping it or using the brush.
I was so close to buying this palette during the VIB Rouge sale, but I picked up the Marc Jacobs palette instead, the one with the blue and silver shadows. Because let's face it, I only wanted this palette for that cobalt blue shadow. 💙

Blitz Blue has glitz and Tiger Lily has nice depth and shine. If you love twinkle, then Blitz Blue. And the Astral shade on top will pop if off!

dont know if you will see this after so long, but: do you feel the formulation of the eyeshadows in mothship i is the same as the more recent mothership v, vi, vii? like, have they been kept the same, or changed/evolved/reformulated over time?
I believe they are pretty consistent. It all depends on the shadows, for instance V has different textures for their VR shades than the ones found in VI + VII. But is consistent with what’s found in I.
This is absolutely gorgeous. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. I may actually try some color on my lids after viewing this tutorial. If you had to choose one of Pat's eye palettes for my skin tone, which one would you choose? I'm limiting myself to just one lolololoololol.

From what I experienced, Dark Matter has a more ultra violet shift to it.

Oh no, this may mean I gotta choose between this and Pat's new minis. However, I just looked at an image of the Tropical palette, lots of pale looking pans. Unless this is the new wondrous formulation a la Joya/Aeris, perhaps I can skip this one.

I personal hate that she has repeat shades in the palettes, especially considering it's so pricey. Who the hell needs that many blacks?!?! I'd rather just use a black eye pencil as base to deepen colors anyway. Which means I can't bring myself to eventually buy all 3. Ugh.
