I don't think many people appreciate how fit and strong you have to be to survive crashes like that without major injury. I think these guys are such incredible athletes! Also a question - Do most of these riders do this course with flats or clips? Im not sure which would be more scary on a course like this!
TheDave000 people think DH riders don't have to be in shape period but they are built like 100m runners versus marathoners compared to XC riders. It's about strength, speed and being able to take the punishment.
