His fullest extent that we know of is B0-A5, which is exactly the same as Geoffs. Adding to that, Tims B0 is a growl while Geoffs is subharmonic, and subharmonics are harder to do than growl. And the highest A5 seemed very strained and had to be reached in Tims case, while Geoff did it more easily and without reaching. They are obviously both amazing, but from what I have seen, Geoff is the tiniest bit better in his skills.

Matches perfectly, and those slides and belts giving me all the emotions... I'm dead 💀. So talented, as always. By the way, I recently found out J None has his own channel too, though I haven't looked much at what he's done solo. Apparently he also works as a vocal coach for Tara Simon Studios (another TH-cam reactor), and it was so cute because she did a reaction to Voiceplay's Grinch song talking about J None, then on his channel he did a reaction to her reaction. I can tell you he's a very funny guy 😄

Geoff will never quit Voiceplay. He is one of the founding members and him and Layne own Voiceplay. He loves to song and perform. So we'll see them around a long time.
I always love your reactions so much. I had never heard this song before Geoff's cover since I'm not a Radiohead fan but I absolutely love it. It's probably 2nd on my Geoff solo list after Blackbird. It's nice to hear both his high & low range in one song. It really is like you said; he sounds like it's two people singing but he has such great resonance in all his ranges. You won't see him go solo though - he was asked that question on a recent live Patreon chat and he says he prefers working with the VP guys (I'm good with that!). We have his wife, Kathy, to thank for his solo covers. According to Geoff in the same chat she's the one who pushed him to put out the solo music.

I have to admit that the very first note shocked me and I wasn’t prepared for it. I almost thought it was a burp! 😂 That was low!! I do love this one, but I love his cover of “Blackbird” better. When he did those scoops from bass to tenor, though! That was cool!! Loved your reaction!! A bass dual between Geoff and Tim would be very interesting! I can only imagine, and wish it would/could happen! They could show their ranges!!
Tim mentioned an all-bass single a few months ago where Geoff is featured and Tim as well. We don’t know anything about it other than that info, but judging by how he said it and how it’s called then I assume that there will be other basses besides Tim and Geoff, maybe Avi? Maybe some other underrated Bass? We will find out one day?

Hey Maz 👋 Thank you for pointing out Scott too. He's not a dedicated bass, and doesn't have that growl mastered yet, so he doesn't often get compared with the others. However, his range is pretty incredible too! 😍

It’s crazy how he hits these subharmonics on a regular.
I love the sound of his fry E1(around 5:15) , it sounds so different than his subharmonic and chest. Something about it sounds so good to my ears.
