I use InShot almost daily for what I do. LOVE IT. One little addition I would add: on your last tip with the b-roll, I would leave your audio intact for a while: cut the 6 second clip you’re going to replace with the COD video. THEN when you know exactly what 6 second clip of you that you’re going to take out, THEN extract the audio. That way you don’t accidentally move your audio/video apart on the rest of your video and have it be off sync.
I would just add the COD clip using the “pip” tool, and zoom it in to where it takes up the whole screen. This way it plays overtop of the original clip without you having to worry about cutting or detecting the audio

For the black bar effect you could also just set the background to black and then crop the video size on the top and bottom

I have a tip for InShot users, you can also add your own audio music by going to music tab, press tracks, and hit the button ‘Imported Music.’ Then, click ‘Import’ then a list of options pop up. Specifically, ‘Files,’ ‘Extract audio from video’ ‘Airdrop’ and ‘Other apps’. Click extract audio from video and find the video you want the audio from. Press the video you want from your camera roll, and then you can trim it. Then press the check mark. Name your track. Now, when you want the audio, simply go to your imported music, click on the track, and press use.

@@CollinMichael The only thing that I'll add is: iOS 13 is having problem with PNG files. Even at PNG format, the pictures remain with their background.

InShot has more a variety of editing tools and in my opinion it's better than iMovie. I'm a small TH-camr that does covers (ukulele and guitar) and when I first started filming, I just did the intro, cover and outro in the same video for a while and then slowly started to edit using iMovie and then I started using InShot which is WAY better and makes editing so much fun.
I love InShot with my whole heart but you can’t use green screen and it makes me so sad :((

Ik!! But you can edit the whole video on InShot then use green screen with iMovie that comes with ur iPhone (unless you have an android)

actually for the black bars just change the “canvas” think and put the background on black and for the music thing you could just clic on the music button and click “extract from video” (u had to have the song as a video first)
