- this thing slaps. hard.
also I forgot to mention, thomas also made the baikal balisong. I was not sponsored in any way, all opinions are my own.
Bang for buck wise I don't see a better knife or competitor that could beat this. it's titanium, 2 day shipping, and COMES WITH BOTH A LIVE AND TRAINER BLADE.
FROM AMAZON.
thomas, this thing is super nice.

a grail on amazon
(ik not technically true)
I may have to pick one of these up
Honestly worth it. Trainer and live blade paired with titanium is insane. The live blade is crazy sharp tho.
there is something so satisfying about this guy's signature flipping
Brand shows up as Marcolo on Amazon, so this just another product under a different name from the same (kind of questionable) company?
It's made by a different person who has ties to marcolo. but its imported by marcolo, not made by them. Not a clone.
@@1badspeed6 Good 2 know!
Did you use locktide to swap the blades? I‘ve never taken a balisong apart before
Nope, cranked down the pivots all the way.
From what i can tell PM204 steel is basically chinese M390
the funniest thing is they sell it on amazon prime in eu countries where balis are illegal xD
I mean that's good for accessibility sake lol
In eu balis aint illegal
@@Idkkkkkkk132 I said in eu countries where they are illegal. He’s selling a live on Amazon Germany where I know for a fact they are illegal
@@robinesch29 oh mb bro
@@Idkkkkkkk132 np 😁 misunderstanding
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was not good at listening to English, so I didn't hear Aragon's explanation.
Hidden Zen pin? Pinless? Tangless? I was wondering what pin design you adopted!
Pinsless
How do the stop pins work on this? If its pinless will the titanium wear out?
After some time it will. I saw somewhere in a comments section that if you have treated titanium the constant motion of the blade hitting the handles will eventually "work harden" and become harder to deform. I have no idea if that's true or not, but just what I've heard
What would you recommend as a budget Bali song for someone who wants to get into the hobby?
Honestly the nabalis canyon. Check out my review of it, it's perfect for new flippers
Yo, what's your opinion / vibe with bearings? Is that a big discussion?
Bearings are based. Easy to use and gives you perfect tolerances. People who complain about bearing knives being too fast have a skill issue
whats the name or link of the knife
The name is in the title. Thomas balisong aragon.
PLEASE MEN, DO ASMR vid on this knife pleaseee
I got you
Does anyone know what that Bali he used in the start is called? Specifically the blade shape?
Modified tanto
I am a new flipper how do i get better
Practice. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Use a live blade too. Trainers suck
@@1badspeed6we need a video on why why you don’t like trainers i’ve made up my own reasons but i’d like to hear from the source
When I use a trainer for too long (more than an hour?) I tend to get careless and impatient. Do a trainer thing on a live blade and it might get nasty...
If I mess up a trick, instead of getting my fingers out of the way, letting it fall, then picking it back up I might sorta "bobble" it to to save it or maybe just try to follow through out of desperation. I even straight snatch it out the air by the blade to try to get at it again faster. I guess I'm just trying to say it erodes the instinctive practices that you build up on a live blade.
I'm not totally against trainers tho, I'm of the mindset you should use em to learn the feel/ flow of the more dangerous tricks, but only until you do, and you've figured out how to put it together/ catch it. I'm tired, hope that made sense
@@Wooskii1 so this is why false live blades are great imo. You'll still regret your mistakes but it won't come at the risk of infection or finger dexterity damage from accidental cuts or pokes. My brother actually fucked up his dexterity in his right hand cause he threw the blade up wrong and it landed tip down on his arm, slicing up a tendon. not great. also somehow what got me into flipping myself, even though it should've scared me off it
@@kekwphoenix Yeah, I used to tape the side of the blade before I got a trailer to learn new stuff with. Also have a dull OSP Matrix (still managed to give myself a decent tip rip the other day)
amazon link?
i guess you paid $300 for this one?
