Corruption is ridiculous Mozambique.. Soon as I checked in at the airport they wanted refreshku.. which means bribes
Same with your COUNTRY
most of these buildings and beautifull landmarks were built by the portuguese. Mozambique contributed almost nothing to it.
You are right...u sound like u wanted to shift the buildings to Portugal but unfortunately it has to stay and u have to go back to Portugal
yes unfortunatelly those buildings and infraestructure gotta stay, so a corrupt government can make some easy money out of them, even though we payed for it.@@samuelbisetsa4860
Built by my black family: Maputo's great buildings and roads were built by slaves... It was built with slave labor, involved in all aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, plastering, glazing, painting, etc...
Regarding money, the Portuguese colonizer explored Mozambique for more than 500 years and earned (stole) money by exploiting our natural resources. So shut up!
@@mozlover5 dont be a clown, most of the infraestructure in portuguese Mozambique was financed by the portuguese mainland and other investors, and slavery wasn't even a thing at the time. In fact, the portuguese were the first to ban slavery and were actually the ones forcing the end of slavery on african tribes and nations. You talk like mozambique wasnt part of portugal, it wasnt exploited as it's ressources were reinvested into the land. Of the 3 international airports of Mozambique, 2 were built by the portuguese. The biggest water dam in austral africa was built and financed by the portuguese. The capital of Mozambique -Lourenço Marques - founded by the portuguese. The biggest university of Mozambique - built by the portuguese. The presidential palace, the biggest monuments of the country, roads, buildings - all built by the portuguese. When the portuguese left, the land was prousperous and the people were not rich, but still mozambique was a land of progress and hope for the future. What did the independent government do? Corruption at the highest level, a retrogade society stuck in time, 30 years of one of the bloodiest civil wars in africa history, destruction of infraestructure, not even territorial integrity. It is a failed state. Before you talk of any exploitation, look at the state of mozambique today and see what the governement does with its own people
@@mozlover5 take a look at portuguese mozambique and nowadays, there's plenty of videos in youtube - you will be surprised
