1 time i used my knight to fork the king with the queen, it took a few seconds to find that move, i did the move but didn't know it was checkmate. New checkmate: Fork The Queen plus a checkmate in the exact move

I'm only 1179 rapid and 1122 blitz but I think more like an intermediate. Sacrificing, controlling open files, pawn structures, when to castle and when not to.
I have just achieved 1099 in blitz after playing for a 1 and half year . (I took multiple breaks from chess spanning for months). Should I learn theory

When u know most of the principles and tactics but still can’t break 1000
You will, I realize now that 1000 level players don't know chess that well they blunder frequently
@ a lot of games under 1000 go without blunders, then go into an endgame
