Rob Balmer left this world in the spring of 1989. He wrote quite a few songs 🎵 the last week he was with us, including the first verse and chorus of While The Ages Roll.
I co-wrote While The Ages Roll with Rob Balmer. We started working on it the afternoon before he passed away. Rob had written the chorus and first verse. I wrote the second verse that night after we got word Rob was gone. I was battling lymphoma at the time and expected to join Rob on the other side of eternity soon.

I used to have the backing track of the quartet arrangement by Joseph Lynn (song book "come to the fountain"). It went missing with relocation....Can somebody help me with the backing track ?
Praise the Lord this old life will someday end and Heaven looks very good now!!! I don't have long to live due to chronic illnesses---it would seem---it is in God's hands.
