On first listen, this song actually caught me off guard because it definitely has a poppier feel to it. That said, after multiple listens I cannot get enough of this song. This is how you incorporate heavy pop elements into metalcore the right way. The chorus is unbelievably catchy and then that iron maiden riff straight into a sick veil of Maya breakdown was incredible

Leave it to veil of Maya to just crush the blending of the genres like that. Makes the new wage war album look so bad in comparison

This has got to be one of my top 5 Veil songs ever. Oh my lord. So much energy, so fresh yet so VEIL. Feels a tad experimental but it feels like they've already mastered it. AND LUCAS. GOD DANG. He's got some of the most solid melody / hook writing in the industry atm. Literal 10/10

Admittedly, such a big fan of the Eclipse era of VoM but they've consistently continued to impress me with their incorporation of progressive metalcore. This track is such a multi-phased track and really doesn't sound nearly as "generic" as certain things on False Idol and even Matriarch. This shit's tasty. Continuing to prove they're one of the best in djent and making no apologies about it. So many clear influences here!
