The musicianship to pull that off is really incredible, they blended the older style guitar so perfectly with the heavy and that little solo towards the ends was 1000% Maiden inspired. This is so amazing!

I was iffy on this song in particular, but after listening to it here and there and I gotta say I really did appreciate it a LOT more. And plus I went and I had no clue that was the trooper riff.
So sad this is what they've evolved into. If you've ever listened to older albums you'll understand.

On first listen, this song actually caught me off guard because it definitely has a poppier feel to it. That said, after multiple listens I cannot get enough of this song. This is how you incorporate heavy pop elements into metalcore the right way. The chorus is unbelievably catchy and then that iron maiden riff straight into a sick veil of Maya breakdown was incredible

This song is so refreshing, seriously can't get enough of it! Catchy enough to sing, with a catchy solo, and then the unforgiving breakdown. Wow!
I came back here to say I saw this band 2 nights ago and they were absolutely the best band live.
They deserve a grammy for most creative breaks. The trooper homage is second only to the riff they made out of that one guys periphery review. That being said, every section of this song is 🔥 too. I love this band.

Admittedly, such a big fan of the Eclipse era of VoM but they've consistently continued to impress me with their incorporation of progressive metalcore. This track is such a multi-phased track and really doesn't sound nearly as "generic" as certain things on False Idol and even Matriarch. This shit's tasty. Continuing to prove they're one of the best in djent and making no apologies about it. So many clear influences here!
ID and Eclipse are probably their best work hands down……
however i disagree…..i feel their new stuff is horrible. i tried really hard to like their past like 3 albums….i can’t.
