Dear Sir, your Videos are really helpful. I have watched each and every video of yours before my exam on yesterday. Fortunately I passed. What I think the guy was getting too close to cars while waiting in the traffic lights. Also at 35:55 there was a bicycle coming from behind and I think because of him the bicycle has to go behind him. Also I find it really scary because he was at 28km/h while Crossing the drunk lady and 12 km/h is also very high while Crossing the child on the narrow road.
Congratulations on passing the exam and getting this quiz right! You have won. The first serious mistake was to drive so close to the child at a speed of 12 Kmh! Walking speed would have been correct. The mistake is repeated with the drunk woman. She almost falls on the road but we still pass her with 30 Kmh without slowing down. With this repeated error, the test is not passed. You have a good eye and certainly rightly passed your driving test :D. I know that you state on priority roads that drivers may proceed. Hi, I have only just learned that there is no right before left rule in parking lots, including that of super markets, TÜV centres and all other parking lots like this, I had always thought that it was the rule within all parking lots but it is not apparently. However I think the rule can apply within these but it only applies if the parking lot is sign posted with the rule or that there are proper road markings within the lot. I think now that this part 51:01 is not right before left, I am not sure when this rule came out and so it was perhaps after this video. Anyway as always I am watching your videos again because re watching helps so much and I am happy to say that finally they have arranged my test date and it is within a few weeks from now. yay.
Hi thanks for your comment! I am happy that you are close to the finish line! Regarding your concern: You're right. German traffic law does apply to publicly accessible parking lots, but the right before left rule only applies at junctions and intersections. And if, as you have already correctly described, no streets are marked with lines, the parking lot has no streets, which is why the right before left rule does not apply. But please do not take this as a free pass that you can drive as you like without watching. Because according to the fist paragraph of the law you should drive with constant caution and care in this areas as well. Since the law is not known by most drivers, in practice I recommend my students to apply the right before left rule with the addition that if you are coming from the right, you must make sure that the car coming from the left actually gives way to you. In practice it is less complicated than it sounds: Inside parking lots: 1) Adjust your speed. (walking speed) 2) look clearly for the examiner in every lane you cross. 3) Give priority to cars coming from the right. 4) If a car is coming from the left, be sure it stops before you cross it. This way you drive cautious and careful according to the law and you do not have to change a lot of what you have learned. Better keep it simple. I hope i could help you! All the best Dario

He was coming in at 30km/hr with an oncoming bicycle at 16:09. He should have stopped since minimum distance with bike would not be kept. Is that why he failed?

Many thanks for this explanatory video.👍Between 33:30 and 34:00 the street we were moving on is not a one way street and seems very narrow. What if the van on the right (33:43) would want to enter the street instead of allowing us to move forward? Or, what if we encounter a car that comes in opposite direction? In such cases what should we do in such a narrow street? Thanks in advance for your replies.☺
Obviously I'm not a driving teacher and maybe you have already gotten an answer on a different way. My answer is solely based on experience. You could see the van way before it turned so while the reaction time must be pretty short, you could have used the space in front of the orange van on the right side to carefully drive into the space, but I must admit. I find it hard to judge the amount of space compared to the car. In narrow streets where traffic comes from both ways, the car with free space on its side has to make way. If you have the obstacles on your side, the other car has to make way. But obviously this solution probably could be applied in this situation since there's another car behind us. Even IF we made some room, the van couldn't have passed. In my opinion, the driver of the white van displayed probably the most important rule: Vorausschauendes Fahren, meaning anticipatory driving. He wanted to drive (right before left -> priority) but noticed the traffic situation and "anticipated" the right decision: Make way and wait for enough space. To be honest, you can have as many rules and laws you want, but in the end in tight corners and slim alleys, so many scenarios can be caused where you have to quickly work through your checklist and in the end fall back to gestures and interacting with the other drivers. But the moment the van backed up, basically putting aside its priority, slowing down and constantly checking in on what the van might be doing is the right way to go here. Sadly I cannot answer what you should have done during your driving practice/test. My test took place in a big city with wide streets and only one tricky one-way street. But every single time I visit my friends and rent a car, I get SO nervous when I get to their street because it looks very similar to the scene you mentioned.
@Fahrlingo: your videos are really helpful. How should I know the 30 zone has ended ? Are there any tricks if I do not see another shield for the speed ?
You will have an end of 30 Zone sign, or a new speed sign, a priority road sign, or traffic lights (30 Zone means right before left and is not controlled via traffic lights)
Not always you can know but usually you should realize why is it, like a school, then ends after school ends, or a construction then ends after construction, if in a zone with many houses then normally would end only until next big road, or sign
Crossing the stop line of the stop sign would have been the definitive end of the test and the student would have failed immediately. Hard to see from the camera angle but he actually stopped at the line.
It's hard to see but he moves his hands in 26:19 and turns on the blinker. Just a gentle svipe. He could have done it earlier but even forgetting the turn signal is a minor error. It does not lead directly to failure if it does not result in a dangerous situation. Tanks for your Tipp :)

Hey! Thank you for the very helpful and informative video. However, I’m a bit confused about 30 speed sign for 100 meter zone as in how we can easily identify that 100 meters are completed without any further speed sign to drive faster than 30 after those 100 meters?
Its a good question. Inside villages street lamps have a distance of 25-30 meters. If you pass 4 of them you reached 100m at least. Outside villages the wight sticks called delineators are placed every 50m helping you to count distance as well. Kind regards Dario
If you go the wrong way after directions given, is it a fail? For example you did not understand straight on or something perhaps a little due to noise or traffic situation and so you turned on to the wrong street as far as the direction instruction given. In the Uk so long as it is all done perfectly safe and properly, a wrong turning is not a fail on a test and either a turn around or new route will begin from the examiner, this is only why I ask.
Communication errors will not be avenged. If you confuse right with left or leave the highway at the wrong place, the examiner must see how to get back. If you make a wrong turn, keep the direction and don't try to correct it at the last moment. Because for this reason, communication errors often lead to driving errors. And driving errors can end the exam. For example, if the student wants to correct at the last moment a wrong turn and therefore crosses a solid line or overlooks other road users. From my experience, Communication errors are the main reason why non-German-speaking students fail more often than German-speaking students who are clearly at an advantage because they can implement all the assistance or warnings of the examiner in a fraction of a second. That's why I created this channel and built my language course www.Fahrlingo.com for my own students and everyone else to create the same conditions regardless of the language barrier. (There is also the tip with the turning :) Best regards Dario
@@fahrlingo I am working my way through the videos as fast as I can but like to re watch, as there is so much information on them, its fantastic. Thanks again, taking the time to upload is one great thing but to give such great replies to your viewers is even more awesome.
Sometimes you can get ahead of the examiner: If you notice the sign that you are entering a dead end you can actively search for an easy spot to turn around and ask the examiner "Kann ich hier wenden?" - May i turn around here? This way you can make it easier for yourself and you are no longer forced to turn at an inconvenient place. (Remember, you are also allowed to use driveways and parking areas!) Thanks for all your comments :D Dario
one serious issue in your video, whenever before examiner or other person give any driving instructions you start kind of short music and noise ,flash,so not able to clearly hear what its said, instead you need to display in german what is being said instead of this unpleasent sounds
On the return trip on the highway, he definitely drives too close to the car in front. This alone can end the test. But the crucial mistake was made earlier. What are you referring to in the residential area and at what time?
Hello sir, I am waiting for the date and time for my practical test, I would like to know how important and to what level should students have German language knowledge? Because I came to Germany 10 months back. Is it acceptable if I answer to the questions on examiner in English?
@@naveednawabi6379 Most important is that you can communicate with your instructor while class. Regarding the exam Your driving instructor will be able to give you a good assessment as he knows the local examiners. However use the video to check if you understand the directions and if you would have driven correctly. The technical questions are asked in German. You won't fail if you don't know them, but if you start the test already nervous, it is very difficult to have the mental strength to drive without mistakes afterwards. Some of the examiners are considerate and ask easy questions and let you answer in English, some do not care and ask you the same questions as a native speaker and expect German answers. I recommend my students to be prepared for everything. Thats why I have built a 4h online course for my students at Fahrlingo.com addressing all special vocabs used in exam. You won't fail if you don't understand something correctly. But if you can concentrate 100% on driving because communication is not a problem this will be definitely a big advantage for you. I tried to give you an honest opinion. Kind regards Dario

Hi sir I like the way you tell us .I want to learn how I can please guide me
I didn’t find where was the mistake
(There is also the tip with the turning :)
Best regards Dario
@@fahrlingo I am working my way through the videos as fast as I can but like to re watch, as there is so much information on them, its fantastic. Thanks so much again for your responses to all of my messages so far, I will of course keep any questions to a minimum and only really ask when I really am confused or do not understand something but 99% of things I understand just through watching and your great explanations. Thanks again, taking the time to upload is one great thing but to give such great replies to your viewers is even more awesome.
That was a tight spot for reverse parking on a test, I hope mine is not so small lol
Lovely
❤❤❤
one serious issue in your video, whenever before examiner or other person give any driving instructions you start kind of short music and noise ,flash,so not able to clearly hear what its said, instead you need to display in german what is being said instead of this unpleasent sounds
I thought that the exam will automatically end after you did a mistake like this one with the over speed and the child
He did not keep well distance (2 cars) on Autobahn as well as on built up areas
@@fahrlingo thank you very much for your very useful information.
@@naveednawabi6379I’m in the same situation. I am an English speaker who has been here for 9 months. I need my license but I’m so anxious!i hope your test went well. I have mine on July 4
for me he drove perfectly observing all the rules 🙄
It's a bit annoying to watch these video because of the Casino games scrollers ..... I wish they be removed otherwise the driving videos are great and great analysis
hatt er bestanden?
Shame on examiner. The guy did the best but still he was failed now the guy have to pay almost 5 to 600 euros more just for this. Driving schools are money making machines here.

Ich versteh die Antworten nicht, weil es überhaupt keine Frage gibt. 😂
Thanks for your videos and efforts. But why the voices in the background? Really annoying. Also not a fan of your choice to do a slot machine sounds when the quiz is shown. And that stupid "Number one" voice only distracts. Anyway, thanks for your work.
Please don't add these music and quiz in the video.. makes it so long and boring. try to show the driving and explanations when he is driving please.
Thank you for your feedback.
thank you!
