I passed my practical driving exam yesterday, and this was one of my most helpful videos from you. I had difficulties knowing the right lane to choose at intersections with multiple lanes and traffic lights, but the tips you gave made it easier for me. Thank you so much. Good luck to those who are in the process of getting their German driving licence.
Hi @Fahrlingo: I would like to mention that you missed one very important point here which is: the "Thickness of the breaking lane dividers". Generally, when some lanes go straight and some turn, the thickness of lane dividers (between them) is thick. This tip can also help in a lot of situations. I like your videos, thank you for all the information.
Good basic info presented fun and to the point. You had me confused because in your first segment about turning into lane A or B, you have a left turn arrow in lane 2.
Thanks for helping us by clearing many doubts we have in minds. Can you please upload a video on protected and unprotected turns. That would be a great help. Thanks
Thanks for the video, but you forgot to cover the case, when there are 3 lanes on the left. In this case, the driver in the right lane always must drive to the right lane, and the driver in the left lane can choose from the left and the middle lanes. If all 3 lanes allow to turn left, then drivers must drive to the corresponding lane: left to left, middle to middle, right to right.
Hello, as you have suggested this is a great video, please also make a video when to turn infront of one another because this was the case when i was going to have an accident. I am sure many of us are as confused as I am.
Hey, great explanation! Would you be able to tell us how to do left turn when there are three lanes? Do we still take the right most lane? What about the middle lane?
Very helpful video. However, can you make a video on Highway direction sign boards? I mean the sign boards which explain go to right then take left and go straight, please explain that kind of boards.
Next video request: could you please make a video about how to left turn? How to right turn? What are the arschkarte when turning in a signal? Also vorang, when to allow a fusganger? Many thanks!
Hi A Mathew! Turning at an intersection with pedestrians can be very difficult. Few pedestrians know the right-of-way rules and yet you have to deal with them correctly; following the rules in the exam without endangering others. The next video is almost ready and will deal with highway signs, after that I will dedicate myself to your topic. Is it ok if i leave signals out? It would be quiet much for just one video. All the best, Dario
Very useful Thank you, If you could please make a video on the question that is asked at the practical exam in Deutsch with English translations would be very helpful for us that are having difficulties with language Example: ( Turn right, How to check tyers, Next signal right, park between the cars ...... )
Hi Martin, thanks for your comment! You are right, language problems are unfortunately a reason why foreign students fail more often than german ones. To help my students concentrate only on driving, I have built them a course to prepare online to understand the examiner. The points that you have addressed are included. I made it public so you can find the course at www.fahrlingo.com . It costs 50 € thanks to the new year offer and if you still fail your exam within 30 days after purchase you get all your money back. Thanks for asking, kind regards Dario
@@fahrlingo Hello. I wanted to take the course but in birthday field (What is your birthday) I cannot enter year 1990. The minimum year it shows up is 1993. Unfortunately I have grown too old 😄. Can you please help?
What is lane 1 is full and lane 2 and 3 are empty. And the examiner tells us to turn left. When left can only be turned from lane 1. Should we drive straight or stop in the restricted area
Hi Obi Obi, I would go for the most righten entrance (2) and head for the lane close to the curb (C). That will be definitely correct while the other available options might be confusing. How ever if you start from entrance (1) you should be able to enter A and B but i would be extremely careful that I am not crashing into someone else. Hope i could help you, all the best Dario
@@obiobi347 Awesome! Thank you for telling me: That really makes me happy for you and it certainly motivates many others to continue! (Including me) All the best, Dario
Good video! What I can’t digest is the idea of aborting an exam in 5 minutes (before 55 minutes) depriving us the opportunity to experience all other driving conditions in a real test environment even if the end result is a fail, unless someone did a dangerous manoeuvre or completely out of control. Didn’t we pay for the inspector to stay for 55-minutes on the car if he is not killed or threatened? To this extent, I firmly believe there is a money making motive behind which sugarcoated with rules and regulations. Obviously Germany has to collect more money to feed their free flowing guests from 3rd world countries which is understandable.

You are right this part is missing. You described it very well though and also explained it correctly, thank you!
Although I passed my exam long ago I still get a little confused on the left turn
Thanks for the video

I failed in this situation but the left arrow keys were erased in the line number 2, the arrow keys were just in the straight direction😢
Same 😅
What if left side there are three roads (A,B,C) and there are two entrance 1,2.

Haha, or they indicate because they forgot to change the lane last minute, so I would not rely on that…😢

Just because I stopped in 2 stop signs for less than 3 seconds. Rules for milking money to feed the freeloading guests!
