    Alec Baldwin should not be on trial for this unfortunate incident. It's not his job to make sure there's no live rounds in the gun nor is it part of his acting contract. The fact that he paid the family was out of courtesy and remorse. The person who was responsible for making sure the gun was safe is doing time,and should have gotten more time for her negligence which led to this innocent life being taken.

    This whole case was terribly mishandled. The State tested the firearm to destruction, so there's no way the defense could have examined it in its original state. Now they have shown the State withheld evidence that could have helped the defense. What a clown show.

      Anybody handling a firearm on a film set (unionized and regulated) is required to follow proper safetfy procedures, including actors. When a firearm and ammo changes hands, both parties involved in that exchange must properly check and clear the firearm and the ammo. In this situation, the armorer "checked" the firearm and ammo, handed them to the AD. The AD then handed them to Baldwin and told him the gun was clear. Neither the armorer, the AD, nor Baldwin properly checked/cleared the firearm or ammo. What is supposed to happen is the armorer checks/clears the firearm in front of the AD. The AD watches and then checks and clears the firearm for the armorer. The AD then checks/clears the firearm in front of Baldwin and hands it over. Then Baldwin is supposed to check/clear and confirm for the AD. THEN and only then is the firearm confirmed to be clear. Not only that, but a firearm should never be pointed AT someone. Baldwin pointed the gun AT someone. Then he pulled the trigger, which again, is something you're not supposed to do. He acted negligently. It's clear as day.

    What type of ammunition was used? There was no photos of ammunition or a single slug shown. Although, a certain/ particular type of ammunition called "WadCutter" is ammo that has no lead bullet showing past the rim of the brass cartridge and could have been accidentally or deliberately mixed up with original ammunition that eventually made it to armorer guttierez, still puzzled.

  • @regismonkton
    @regismonkton หลายเดือนก่อน

    The set for this film was very poorly run, so the blame shouldn't solely be put on the armorer. Baldwin, for example, is possibly at least as guilty as the armorer. Also, there is a possibility that there was intentional foul play which the armorer most likely was not a part of. This case should still be under investigation. Baldwin and the armorer might be guilty of negligence, but someone else might be guilty of something far worse than negligence.

      It's more about the fact that he's an actor.... and see, when actors in movies are shooting each other.... the other characters aren't really dying. Just "acting". It's not a real gun, and it wasn't supposed to be loaded. I know this is a difficult concept for some people, but it's not because "them liberals luv Alc Baldwinz". If anything it's the hate he gets that is putting him through court, this is far from the first time something like this has happened. And has resulted in death. it's the only time I've ever seen people cry 'murder'. While being moderately wealthy is usually a necessary tool to survive the American Justice System, it doesn't seem to be helping him much, does it? Neither does that fame considering how many rightwing channels are running absurd hit pieces where simpleton's with gun licenses sit around taking turns repeating the exact same thing you just did.
